Drove 35min this Sunday afternoon 4/19 at 3:38 your door was locked. So sad me and my little girl really were craving your food. No note no answer no nothing! FYI online it says open. Very disappointing.

Super underrated. Service is good. Great prices. Fresh fish. Every time I'm in Corona, I come here. Love it!! Super simple but oh so good!

My friend and I called in and ordered food for pick up around dinner time. The process was really easy. We called in and placed our order as we Had the menu open on our phone. The lady said it would be a 15-20 minute wait. I went to pick up our order in 15 minutes and the food was ready. Picked up and paid for the food was really fast. When we got to my friend's place to eat our dinner, everything looked so good. The price of the dinner sushi nigiri was reasonable for the amount of food we got. Although the fish to rice ratio wasn't really to my liking. It was a lot of rice to the fish. My negative is I also ordered edamame. I could tell the taste was off. It was seemed over cook. Either it was overcooked or it was made earlier on in the day (morning/lunch) and I was just given pre made edamame rather than a fresh batch ‍ Can't really comment on the place since we didn't eat there, but it looks clean. There are a lot of seating.

Musashi is a great little hole in the wall Sushi spot. My niece came out to Visit and wanted sushi so I found this spot. I was skeptical since the restaurant was empty... but after our meal I was surprised it was not more packed. The restaurant is small, it a lot of seating but is great for date nights or small groups: they have tv's playing sports or music and they have a nice cherry blossom theme with lights and it was nice. The service was great I know where were the only ones there but they made sure we were tended to. They also have hot tea and water available for you and I did not notice till after which made me sad lol Next time I'll get some for sure. My niece got the beef rice bowl, with a California roll without the shrimp since she is allergic to. I got the dragon roll, the musashis roll, seaweed salad and the crispy onigiri. I really enjoyed every especially the.crispy onigiri!! Both my rolles were very delicious and freshly my niece really enjoyed her beef bowl and we were both very Satisfied. They do have a fairly limited menu but the food was enjoyable. I appreciated the simplicity of this restaurant and the sushi was great. One thing I would recommend is having. Pictures of the different rolls because it could be more Enticing to get other rolls based on how delicious they look. Outside of that we will be back and look forward to more!!

Great food and nice people that work there. Took my son here after he got his braces off and we tore up some sushi and miso soup.

Tldr: the quality is on point! It's basically a great place to get my sushi fix on in Corona. No it's not AYCE. Rather than driving to Irvine or Oc, this place would be a good alternative in Corona. Don't get me wrong, they don't have an extensive menu... rather.... they're just pretty straightforward and focused on serving quality seafood. Basically, you enter and go to the counter. Order and pay.... There's around 7-8 tables. And they're open everyday with no breaks in the afternoon. The water and hot tea is also self serve. I went for the lunch set plus a few nigiris.... They were all fresh. I like how the quality is spot on... In anycase, I will be back.

Food is delicious especially the teriyaki chicken bento, and onigiri. The staff always have smiling face even if they were very busy, cleaning tables. The other table spilled water and the server came to clean with a great smile on his face. They also run after us because we left my daughter's hydro flask. They only take cards. The place is very clean, it's small but you can see that a lot of people come in and out.

HIDDEN GEM SUSHI! Needed a quick pick-up for dinner and we've been craving high quality, no frills sushi at a reasonable price. The spicy tuna cut roll was to die for. It was so creamy, fresh and flavorful. I'm a big spicy tuna fan and nothing compares to this. The sukiyaki beef was pretty good as well as the salmon cut roll. Will definitely be back for more!

Pretty good and affordable sushi! The menu is smaller but offers the most popular sushi options. Upon entering, you walk up to the counter and grab your menus and order there and pay. Then you grab a table and wait. While you're waiting, they offer free water and hot tea and if you're lucky you can catch a good baseball game on tv- but no volume. The place is somewhat quiet but it's a nice calm feeling inside. The sushi chef is quite busy at work along with answering customers questions about the menu and charging them, so it will be a few minutes longer than other places. He's doing it all! The sushi itself is pretty good. Portion sizes are average, the taste is good, just the presentation is not as good as other places. I ordered the chicken skewers plate and it was good but I would have liked more veggies and the shrimp tempura roll was on point. Salmon roll was excellent! Hubby got a chirashi bowl and the bowl was filled to the top with rice and then a few pieces of fish. For the price - it was good but again, I would have paid more for more premium fish! Overall, the place gets the job done, and we will come back to visit again!

We got the nigiri plate, the spicy tuna roll, and the dragon roll. Everything was INCREDIBLE, especially the yellowtail, was so so smooth and buttery, and the unagi (eel) was so yummy!! They're so kind here, it's very relaxed inside, and they offer free tea! Highly recommend!

Ohhhh my Gawsh!! Literally this little place served the best sushi I've ever had in my life! A healthy portion of seafood to rice ratio. The freshest fish I've ever tasted. The price is really really great. Your favorite little cozy spot!

    Ask the Community - Musashi’s

OMG! Is this the same Musashi's from Seattle?? We ate there and their Bellevue WA location for years when we lived up there and it was the best sushi and best value outside of spending $300 for omakase. Too exciting!!

It looks like it from their website.

Yoshioishi Sushi & Ramen had solid reviews, so we decided to pivot and give it a try. First impression: the menu is extensive. It's one of those places where you almost don't know where to start. The fan favorites are marked with a red flower, which helped narrow things down. We also asked our server for suggestions, which made it easier to navigate. We arrived just before 5pm and there was only one other table. We were told to sit anywhere we'd like. By the time we left, the restaurant was filling up and it seemed like there were quite a few regulars coming in. Here's what we tried: Salted edamame: Just average. A bit limp and not as crisp as I'm used to, so they didn't feel especially fresh. Gyoza: Really nice flavor and the dipping sauce was well balanced. These were solid. Yellowtail jalapeño sashimi: This was different in a good way. It had cilantro and a slightly sweeter sauce instead of the traditional garlic ponzu. Unexpected, but a pleasant surprise. Crispy chicken karaage: Slightly over fried but still flavorful. The dipping sauce helped. Crispy rice with spicy tuna: Just okay. One piece barely had tuna on top. Not bad, but not something I'd reorder. Cucumber salad: Served on a bed of iceberg lettuce, which surprised us, but the dressing had great flavor. This disappeared quickly. Nigiri: The salmon was incredibly fresh and one of the highlights. The albacore and toro came topped with fresh wasabi, which was a nice touch. We really enjoyed the salmon and albacore. The toro didn't quite melt in your mouth like we hoped. It was a bit chewy. Crazy Salmon Roll: Good flavor, but note that the salmon on the outside is fully cooked. We expected raw, so just something to keep in mind. Snow Mountain Roll: A fan favorite at the table. Great texture and flavor. Plain udon and plain ramen: Both were excellent. The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the portions were generous. We definitely over ordered, but we left very full. One small detail for fellow tea lovers: I always look forward to hot tea at a Japanese restaurant, especially when it's served in a small pot you can refill at the table. Here it was hot water with a tea bag in a metal cup, which was too hot to comfortably hold, and there was no teapot provided. Not a deal breaker, but next time I'd probably skip the tea. Service was strong. In addition to our main server, two other team members checked in and refilled water regularly, which we appreciated. Overall, I'd call it a 3.5 if that were an option, so I'm landing at 3 stars. The food was decent, the atmosphere comfortable, and the service attentive. It didn't completely wow us, but we're glad we tried it.

We stumbled upon Rakki when we first moved to Chino Hills in 2023, and took a break from coming when our son was in the oven. It was definitely our go to Sushi spot when we had the energy to make it out there. We loved the various choices of nigiri, sushi rolls and even the appetizers. Shortly before they closed, the owner even gave us a complimentary yellowtail collar which was absolutely delicious, amazingly flavorful and super juicy (we never ordered this previously, since we always went with the AYCE option). The AYCE was very reasonably priced for what you got, and could be considered on the very cheap end, for quality of the food you got and options available. Rakki Sushi got high praises from our foodie friends who would visit us as well. The chef and staff were always super nice, they always came to check on how we were doing when they weren't too overwhelmed with the busyness, and we loved how super friendly they were. Our son loved the staff as well, and he always gave them smiles back in response to theirs. The ambience was more of a local/casual sushi spot, rather than somewhere fancy, which my wife and I greatly enjoyed since we like dressing comfortably in just t-shirts and joggers. The tables, seats, and utensils were always clean when we went there. The men's restroom wasn't the cleanest looking, but given the location it was understandable. Plus, we were there for the food, and not really to strictly use the restroom. We greatly miss you Rakki Sushi and hope you are able to come back one day!

Anyway... After perusing through the menu, which had quite a few blacked out items (black tape applied over the menu item) we both decided on the Tonkatsu Spicy Black Ramen Noodles as well a the Crispy Fried Rice appetizer... the appetizer was delivered but I had to request some small individual plates so that we could eat off of our own plate, rather than reaching over trying to share the same plate and making a mess on the table... no worries, small oversight (or so I thought at the time)... Next came the Ramen... Looked very appetizing, but again I had to get up and request a couple of soup spoons... went to dig in, and while the bottom of the bowl was warm, the broth itself was quite cold... after calling over the waitress and asking them to please reheat (even if they had to use the microwave)... the waitress took it back to the "open" kitchen and they used the microwave to reheat... The bowls were returned and as we started to eat, satisfied that the broth was indeed hot, we noticed a couple of items missing: the corn - no corn in the broth like it was described... in addition to that, no Wood Eared Mushrooms were in the broth either... the wood eared mushrooms set the "black" apart from the standard ramen and cost $.50 more per serving... when questioned about it, the hostess informed us that they didn't have any mushrooms... as a consolation, she offered us one of the "extra price" toppings in place if it... we opted for the tofu... a bowl of tofu pieces came out and although they appeared to have steam coming off of it, the tofu was cold as well... smh... The hostess returned them to to kitchen to be reheated... We received a 10% discount ($4.90 of of a $49 bill)... Not sure if they're going to make it with this level of service and food quality...
