If you're not familiar with the area, you should definitely leave early. I was slightly late due to this very issue. I was greeted warmly, but there seemed to be more questions about insurance. All insurance information had been taken care of. There was a continuous theme: money. They were already charging me for the x-ray but wanted my insurance so they could bill the insurance and reimburse me if the insurance covered it. The problem is, I would never know.......... The staff didn't seem knowledgeable or trustworthy. After paying for the cost of the 3D x-ray, she didn't verify my email address and sent my receipt to the wrong email address. I had to ask for an itemized bill because the receipt was only for the transaction and not what I paid for. The most interesting part, the visit only took 20 minutes total. Oh, and there was nothing wrong. The doctor and nurse practitioner seem fine. The doctor explained the issue but gave me nothing about what he explained. Did I mention, the expensive x-ray, they absolutely needed to diagnose my potential issue, I never saw it. I left feeling ripped off. I will never comeback here..........

The staff and Doctor Kapoor were all delightful and professional as they took very good care of my teeth. I did need to make a few adjustments to my brushing, as I was using too strong a brush, mine was medium. I have switched over to soft and I should have lesser troubles in the future. I brushed so hard that I wore the enamel off and started carving out the dentin. The doctor fixed all of my teeth and then some even fixing the carving out parts, she filled with composite material. My wife goes here next and I am sure she will love it too.

Was sent all the paperwork prior to the appointment so it was all done online prior to the appointment, which made check-in run smooth. Saw Dr Neal who made his recommendations and got me in same day. He was kind and I loved his energy which made me more calm being in the chair. He was clear on expectations and got me out just close to an hour later. FYI there is a 3% fee if you use credit card.

Not the news I was hoping for, but it is what it is. He went through my options with me and fully explained them. I really appreciated that. I set up an appointment for the next day with Dr. Emily Smythe for extraction. She and her assistant (whose name regrettably escapes me right now) made me as comfortable as I could be, making sure that nothing was done until the novocaine was totally working. I was amazed at how short of a time this actually took. The extraction and bone graft for my upcoming implant took maybe 10-15 minutes. The next step, in about 3 months will be the post for the implant. Everyone from the receptionists who scheduled me and helped me with my insurance paperwork to the assistants to the doctors at Cameo were friendly and professional. I highly recommend them!

The front desk told me they do not submit an insurance claim for consultations, and yet they did. And in late May my insurance company sent them a check to cover the full cost of the consultation. In other words, Cameo was paid twice for the same visit, once by me and once by my insurance company. I was told that Cameo would require some time for the check to clear and for the reimbursement to be processed. Well, it's the end of August, three months after Cameo should have received the insurance payment, and I have yet to receive reimbursement. This is actually the second issue I've had with a reimbursement. The first was being reimbursed for services that were not performed. In that case one of the partners intervened to settle the issue. I should note that the dental care I received was excellent, but I will not return to this practice for any follow-on work. Withholding reimbursements seems to be a feature not a bug for this practice, and they've already fooled me twice.
