I posted an initial negative review with one star and am now updating as we have spoken with customer service and have now received our item. Pros: The delivery team was great and super helpful. They delivered our vanity into our bathroom without much issue despite very tight turns. While we experienced delays, the customer service department responded super quickly to our initial email to ensure we received our vanity ASAP once we expressed concern. Cons: It was a frustrating process to say the least. Our expected delivery date was changed 4-5 times without notifying us, and we ended up wasting days we had taken off of work because we were expecting the delivery. We ended up getting our item 2 weeks after we initially expected it, and since it was our bathroom vanity, it meant we were not able to use our master bathroom for significantly longer than expected. The company also does not seem to answer phone calls or return/respond to voicemails. We only received a response and confirmation of a delivery date once we sent an email to their customer service department, despite leaving at least 3 different voicemails over the course of 2 weeks. So food for thought, send an email to customer service with questions or concerns vs waiting for a response to voicemails. Our delivery team was great, and we received a prompt reply to our email, so I've updated this review to 3 stars instead of 1. We understand that sometimes things happen and delivery dates must be adjusted, but would recommend the company does a better job responding to voicemails and letting customers know if there is a change in delivery date so people don't waste their time. read more

Horrific! Avoid at all costs. A $1000 table was supposed to be delivered on Friday. Come Tuesday the following week I have called 100 times and can't get tracking information or a call back. read more

If you like what is now going on now, two weeks of them having my shipment locally, but not delivering at the scheduled time and day, not calling or emailing you to say said delivery will not happen. Then, getting zero follow-up or communications, this is the company for you! I lied, I got one response stating technical issues and they are working on delivery, a week ago. That is it, and after me emailing and calling a number that tells you to email due to them being busy. If you prefer a freight company that constantly keeps you guessing, then they are for you! Ordered glass shower doors from Wayfair, estimated delivery date 2/17. Received an email on 2/12 saying our item had arrived at JW Logistics! It's now 2/25 and after multiple conversations with Customer Service, my delivery still has not even been scheduled. This place is a complete dumpster fire.......ordered a grill on 20 Oct 2021 from Home Depot, who forwarded to JW Logistics for final delivery. JW confirmed receipt on 8 Nov 2021, and called me to advise that they would be delivering in about 9 days, and that I should have the package no later than 15 Nov........the website for JW confirmed this to be the case as well. 15 Nov came and went, and their website still showed a forecasted date of 15 Nov for delivery. I called their office several times, left multiple messages, and no response. Finally, I called Home Depot who cancelled the order on 1 Dec, and declared the item lost in transit..... Fast forward to today......a Penske rental truck (pretty professional, eh?) arrived at my front door, and a large and heavy package was left there.....exposed to the rain. Apparently, my lost BBQ was not really lost after all......but now there is the issue of having a BBQ that had been cancelled by Home Depot and carelessly left on my doorstep. Do yourselves a favor.....if the order is coming from Home Depot and being delivered by JW Logistics, cancel the order before they have a chance to botch everything....... UPDATE - Got a phone call back once the original unfavorable review went live......the person with whom I spoke could not provide any explanations to why the delivery was delayed, and that this would be addressed with their local carrier.......lip service and nothing more. read more

Short version: They left my shipment in the public street and will not move it onto my property. ---Update---- The corporate office contacted me and offered mea verbal apology and this explanation... "The driver put this there because he did not want to damage your lawn or property" Please note the aditionall photos showing his options. Also, this item is not actually on MY PROPERTY at all. It is on the City's property. My property begins at the sidewalk. ----- I ordered an item from a company who shipped it through this company. It is a very large item. After keeping my item in their warehouse for a couple of weeks, JW Logistics (in Reno) contacted me to tell me when to expect delivery. I had a nice chat (via text) with Emilie. I explained that I would not be home when they delivered. She said that was not a problem and asked where I would like them to put my item. I gave her instructions and she said that would be fine. The day of the delivery the driver called me. I was out of town, in a meeting. I told him I had given instructions to Emilie. I came home 1/2 hour later to my item laying partly in the public street and partly in the right-of-way! I called, texted, and emailed both JW Logistics and the company from whom I ordered the package. When JW Logistics got back to me (via text) I was told that they could not come move the item, as they didn't have the equipment to do so. Sooo, since the installation of my shipment is scheduled for Saturday, my item will be in the public street for 4 days. I went out and put lights on it, so, hopefully, no one will drive into it. Ordered a patio set from Home Depot for delivery and set up. Was told both would occur on may 17th. Instead on the night of may 6th this company texted me and advised they would arrive on may 7th sometime between 8:00am and 8:00pm and would give a 30 min call out. I got no call out. Went outsiders about 10:00am and discovered this company had already dropped off the patio set... blocking my walkway to my driveway completely. I tied calling them a dozen times and they never answered. I had to move the massive boxes by myself so that I could actually leave my house. This company is horrible. Home Depot has been made aware thanks so this company I'll no longer be purchasing my home improvement products from them anymore. Sad for Home Depot as they just installed my new carpet and central air and I still have a ton more to do. This company is horrible and hope to see them go under soon. read more

I had a scheduled delivery. Even spoke to someone prior to make sure they knew I didn't get home until 4:30 pm. I was assured they would call me 30 minutes out. I was even told it would be 5:45 pm or shortly thereafter that I should get my 30 minute heads up. My appointment was 3-7 pm. I did not get my delivery. 2 Complaints for 2 different deliveries: 1. I placed a very large order from Home Depot (kitchen cabinets, vanity, bathtub, etc). All the heavy/large items I paid for threshold delivery. The day before a partial delivery, I received an email from Home Depot saying the delivery of one item would occur the next day. On the day of delivery, August 4, I received a call (voicemail) from William, the driver, stating he was 20-30 minutes away. When he pulled up to the home, he approached me and said he had 12 items that were threshold delivery, but since the cabinets were on a pallet, he could not bring them inside. I thought this was odd, since other items were delivered on a pallet and were brought inside. Because I was at the home by myself, I asked to see just how big and heavy the boxes were to determine if I could unload and bring inside. He opened the back of the truck and I was able to see. But he told me to get on the lift gate to go get a closer look. I got on the lift gate and inside the truck. That's when he tried to extort money from me by saying, "I have CashApp and Zelle. If you help me, I will help you." I got back on the lift gate to get down and he didn't tell me he was moving it. I almost fell off when it started moving back down to the ground. Back to the extortion...I always tip delivery drivers, but his extortion attempt made me angry. Especially since I paid extra through Home Depot for threshold delivery. I told him I don't have either methods of his payment request and to put the 2 pallets on the front porch. Instead of leaving the cabinets on the porch, as I instructed, he left them on the sidewalk. I was able to contact the company via the chat feature on its website and received a call to explain what happened. 2. On August 10, I received a text message from the company stating my order would be delivered the next day, with a 30 minute notification, and to reply with any questions. I responded, "Can you tell me what item is being delivered?" I asked this because the vanity I ordered was lost in transit. I didn't know if it was the vanity or bathtub being delivered. No response. I arrived at the construction site early and waited most of the day. I left for 30 minutes to use the restroom and grab some water. When I came back, the 300 pound vanity was sitting on the front porch. I did not receive a call. Although I consider myself strong, I was unable to bring the heavy item inside. I've called, emailed, texted, tried using the chat feature online again and could not get in contact with anyone today. Home Depot even tried calling and could no reach the company. The vanity will remain on the front porch until the shipping company comes back to pick it up. I still have one more large item that will be delivered next week but will be cancelling that order because this company has done a terrible job at training its delivery drivers and communicating. Why have a phone number listed on the website if no one answers the phone and voicemail is full? Why have a tracking feature on the website if it doesn't work? Why state in a text, "reply with any questions" if the company doesn't respond? Do better! read more

I ordered a smoker from Home Depot over a week ago. I was given a JW Logistics tracking number. After days of no movement or updates, i tried to contact JW. They never answer the phone, and it dumps you into a voicemail box after making me hold for an exorbitant amount of time. No return calls or emails at ALL. I have no idea why Home Depot uses this company. I want my smoker delivered, and I want a phone call to let me know when this is going to happen. I'd like my shipping expedited at no cost to me at this point. read more

Just terrible. Weather and roads have been unpredictable, so I'd give them a window to deliver and they would just continue to show up a day after a snowstorm and wouldn't be able to deliver. They eventually just sent my order back to Home Depot without communicating anything to me, and they did so when the roads were perfectly clear. It would be funny if it wasn't so frustrating. Edit - Weirdly enough they showed up finally even though Home Depot says my item was returned. Well, I guess I'll add a star since I actually got my stuff. read more

Our driver was very nice. Unfortunately our shipment was severely damaged and was not transported in the truck securely. As the truck was opened, you could see the package on its side. Again, driver was nice but I really needed this delivered undamaged. Just a big waste. read more

I'll update my review to three stars due to their customer service. Two individuals called me to apologize and make it right. Since I didn't get to look at the product before accepting delivery in case of damage, they offered to deal with Home Depot if I needed to send my vanity back and come pick it up. Thankfully there's no damage that I can see but I have installed everything yet while we are remodeling. Not only did I not receive a call to verify my delivery window, the driver delivered my vanity from Home Depot to the wrong address. We were at home all day waiting for the delivery. I kept checking the tracking on the Home Depot site for updates. Low and behold, I see that it was delivered. We didn't get a call, no doorbell ring. We check outside and nothing. I tried to call but I was left on hold from the recorded message. Sent an email and a live chat with no response. A few hours later, the neighbor came by to tell us they had our shipment. How simple is it to call and verify delivery. We were supposed to be able to choose the drop off location, which would have been in our driveway. read more

I ordered a vanity from Home Depot that was to be delivered by JW Logistics out of Baltimore. It was first shown in the JW tracking that it would arrive on 4/7. No call, no delivery and wasted day. My many calls on that day to the Baltimore office and their HQ were all met with a long hold and then put to voicemail with messages left and no call back. I spoke with Home Depot and they agreed that they have issues contacting this company as well. Not very customer friendly at all. Now the website tracking is not working. ***Update 4/13/21*** I was able to finally reach a staff member named Ashley and she explained the reason for the delays and assured me that this will be looked into and addressed. She emailed a co-worker (copying me) to get details of the actual delivery. I will wait to hear if there is any actual solution to my issue and update the rating if warranted. read more

Horrible. Ordered a sofa from Wayfair on May 27. Up to three times now, where a delivery date is confirmed and then I get a text late the night before saying it's delayed with no new date. The person answering their phone, a young, sarcastic guy, is condescending and should not work with people on the phone. Ever. My latest report on Wayfair tracking purposely states that I rescheduled for a later date. Spitefully. I did not, obviously, schedule for a later date, so now we they are lying. explained that it was emotional for our family because it goes into a room where a family member has died. Classy. I got lots of Covid lectures and zero resolution. And spite. Lots of spite. You don't schedule and cancel THREE times. Poor management and customer service has zero to do with contamination procedures. I am trying to find a furniture company who will not use this place and return the sofa back to the company. (12/21/19) I certainly wish 0 stars was an option. JW Logistics is the worse company I've EVER dealt with. Delivery rescheduled twice and still no delivery. You'll receive a cookie cutter text message saying " Your item didn't make the truck and cannot be found ". They then tell you to talk to Wayfair customer service. JW phone number leads to voicemail. You cannot talk to anyone there and they don't reply to the same text messages they send you!!! Awful company. Unfortunately if you are reading this review, you're in the same boat I am. I should've done research before buying. So much time and planning to save money is now completely wasted. A month after ordering the shuffleboard table, still no delivery. Had to cancel the order! (01/09)UPDATE: I decided not to cancel the order. I called Wayfair to complain and ask for an alternative solution. They said unfortunately J.W. Logistics is the only company in the area they have a contract with to deliver bulk shipments for them. Wayfair proceeded to apologize and gave me a 30% refund on my purchase!! They did send a text today saying our order was lost, however Wayfair said they are showing it's at JW's location. Never again! If you have hours to spare chasing down your order and speaking to customer service reps, JW Logistics is for you! Update: After two no call no shows, I cancelled our order with Wayfair. Great to work with. Handled the delivery of my home depot patio furniture - communicative and friendly. Drivers were prompt, courteous and kindly put the box right where I needed it. Update 1/10/22: Loren commented on my yelp post saying someone would get in touch with me, but I knew that wasn't possible because my name on here doesn't match my order. So I emailed the customer email she suggested. Today at noon the same supervisor from before reached out to my husband via text and said "Good morning. I've opened a convey case on your order letting HD know what's going on from our end i'll be sending you your convey case number so you can follow up with them as well Once again I'm sorry for your inconvenience. I will call you personally later on this evening as well." And he attached a picture he took of the convey case screen which doesn't say anything other than some covey number, solved and our information. My husband replied to the text asking what a convey case was and if the vanity was still shipping and if we had a date. The supervisor replied "We don't have a date yet I've let HD know what's going on and the case number is in the picture right above the yellow bar". 4 hours later I get an email from Home Depot saying our vanity has been returned. I am sooooooo far beyond frustrated with the communication we have had from JW!!!!!!!!!!!! Original post 1/7/22: I rarely leave bad reviews. I hate leaving them. But this company is beyond a dumpster fire. I wish there was a zero star option. JW has been an ABSOLUTE nightmare to work with. Our project is so far behind because of them. We ordered a vanity from Home Depot online and received an email on 10/26/21 saying the order had shipped and had an expected delivery date of 11/8/21. Our delivery date came and went and I noticed the tracking hadn't changed in 2 weeks. I called Home Depot and they tried reaching JW without any luck. They said there was nothing they could do because they couldn't reach JW. After my 3rd call with Home Depot, they gave me the number to JW and said I was welcome to call them for an update. After a week of trying to reach JW by leaving voicemails and sending an email, I FINALLY reached someone at JW on 11/29. She was extremely helpful and agreed it was weird that the warehouse had the item for weeks, but hadn't scheduled delivery. She put in some special case/request and assured me that a supervisor would contact us asap. A few hours later, we received a text from the warehouse supervisor "Good afternoon this is G JW logistics reaching out to you about your Home Depot freight unfortunately your freight was damaged upon our move to our new warehouse the handlers dropped it off the truck I've opened up a convey case letting Home Depot know to send out new freight i'll be sending your case number so you can reach out and follow up with them as well thank you and sorry for the inconvenience". I was understanding of the vanity damage. They're heavy and I can't imagine very easy to move. But I was pretty frustrated that the vanity had been sitting for so long probably damaged before I was finally able to reach someone to get help because no one contacted us to let us know it was damaged. Anyway, so I assumed based off that text from the supervisor, that they would work with Home Depot on ordering us a replacement. Never heard anything back from JW with a 'case number' or whatever. Fast forward to 12/2, I happen to check my credit card and we were reimbursed the cost of the vanity from Home Depot. After a few days of no emails or calls updating me on what's going on, I call the Home Depot pro desk on 12/6. Explained the issues. They said we needed to reorder because the shipping company doesn't handle that. The pro desk didn't understand why JW would say that they would organize getting 'new freight' sent out. So I reordered the item and Home Depot honored the original price. Home Depot told me their pro costumers normally order 2-3 vanities just incase of damage during transport and then return what they don't use. The second vanity we ordered had an estimated arrival of December 30th. The JW tracking number shows that the vanity has been sitting at their Austin warehouse since December 13th. I started calling JW December 27/28th to get an updated eta on delivery. I called JW 6x over the course of a week and a half and left numerous voicemails. Never heard back from anyone (even though their voice message says that someone from JW will get back with you in 24 hours). I am currently working with Home Depot management to get this issue resolved. Unfortunately we are having a tough time finding a way to get us this vanity by going around JW. read more

Was supposed to get a call the day before delivery but did not. Was also supposed to get a call 30 minutes before delivery but did not. They dropped off a $1700 mower and just left it on the driveway in plain sight. Since I am not home and wont be for a while, I sure hope no one steals it. Since I didn't sign for it and take receipt, I know I wont be on the hook for it but still a hassle. I tried to call JW Logistics but was on hold for 25 minutes before i hung up. We had such a horrible experience with this delivery service. We ordered a vanity from Home Depot and was told this company would be delivering it. When scheduling the delivery appointment we asked if it could be placed in our garage, since our restroom is being remodeled. We were told it could be and the driver would be informed. The day of delivery no one called to let us know they were on their way. We received a text saying the vanity was delivered. We went outside and the 500 lb vanity is in front of our garage door. My husband called the delivery driver to ask why no one contacted us to open the garage door or atleast notify us they were on their way so we were ready. The driver was extremely rude and said it wasn't their problem since they were no longer in our area. Eventually we were able to have their manager contact us, who informed they would send the drivers back out to move it in the garage. This was at 4pm. It is now 7pm and no one has shown or called us back. We've tried contacting both people and it goes straight to voice-mail. Now it is supposed to rain tonight and we are stuck with our new vanity outside. read more

I cannot contact the company, and even Home Depot got "mailbox is full". There is literally no communication. They keep rescheduling my shipment, and don't have any idea there is a gate, they need me to help them get up here, and I won't be here for one of the "possible" delivery dates. Home Depot needs to reconsider their shipping for large objects. Had I known all this up front, I would have ordered from somewhere else. I am considering refusing the delivery and cancelling the order as I can't risk them dumping it in front of my gate, and I can't stop doing business to wait for them to deliver when it's convenient for them. AGAIN, there is literally NO communication from this company and NO way to contact them to help with any issues. UPDATE: The company has reached out. I will alter this as the facts and actions unfold. I raised this to 4 stars as the company came through and the delivery driver was very nice. If there was an option for no stars, I'd go with no stars! They deliver for Home Depot. They had my delivery scheduled for 8-12pm and confirmed twice. Still no delivery at 3pm. I called and they said it's on the truck and will be there shortly. 4:19 I get a text that it delivered. i had no delivery. I called and they said oops never left the warehouse, so we will squeeze on truck Monday. Monday came and went, no delivery. Now they say Tuesday. I placed an order of an AC unit on June 15, the estimate delivery was June 24th. I waited till 6 p.m. and not even a freaking courtesy call from them. I called Home Depot for the status and they verified that it WAS to be delivered on June 24- they could not get a hold of anyone , so they suggested I call early next morning, but no answer I went to the website and emailed them but no response...I finally got thru at 230 in the afternoon, and rep said that there were no drivers available until Monday. This company has no sense of urgency when it comes to returning phone calls or delivering on time. I as well as home Depot has been trying to contact them to reschedule a delivery that should have been completed but instead the delivery driver said the load was too heavy for him to leave on my porch. He wanted to leave my delivery in the driveway nevermind the fact that it was raining. He refused to place it on the porch or the garage out of the weather. He stated we didn't pay for premium delivery. As an owner of a transportation company myself I cannot imagine sending 1 driver to do a 2 driver job, or leaving a customer's package in the elements.
