Home Depot uses this shady company. They hang up on you and won't answer after that, they hung up on HD customer service too. They will leave an expensive item without your signature and will sign it for you. Not only that, they will leave your very expensive order with missing items out in the open for all passerby's to see. I was home when their driver stealthily dropped off half my order and drove off with the rest and most expensive pieces. Marked my entire order as delivered. Missing items never showed up. Thank God Home Depot took the time to review my issues and get me a refund. I hope they investigate this activity from JWL. read more

Why any company would decide to use JW Logistics to fulfill their delivery is beyond me. This company was a nightmare! I was home, per their request, a total of 16 hours before they actually delivered my product. It was everything from just not showing up on days they scheduled me, to arguing that they didn't want to white glove deliver it (as I paid for), to calling hours after the 4 hour delivery window. On the day I did finally receive my item, they showed up 3.5 hours after they had promised (when I told them specifically I wasn't available) but since this was their 4th scheduled delivery I was on to their game by then and had someone else go to my home to receive the delivery. Hello James, I ordered a BBQ from Home Depot and was told the package was in Fort Worth with Estes. I was told the BBQ would arrive Monday then Tuesday and nothing. Summarily I phoned your business in Frisco. I called 5 times to no avail. Each time I was put in cue to anywhere from 5-15 minutes, each time only to wait and and be put into voicemail to leave a message. I only texted one person who was short and not very accommodating. This person I believe was Lindsay and said the package wasn't near here and it was out of state and that home depot is giving incorrect information. Interesting right? Well read on. I was in Fort Worth so I decided to go by and visit Estes....by the way they answered everyone of the calls. When I arrived at Estes I spoke with Mellissa the dispatcher she said my package was there and that they tried to get it too them by 1 but the container was refused at 20 minutes after 1. Then they tried today and they were there by 12:30 and again the container was refused. So I decided to go to your office in frisco. I spoke to a guy that has a large black beard he didn't have a name tag. He informed me that the package has still not arrived at the distributor...I think you can guess what I said next. I told him that in fact your guys refused the package from Estes in Fort Worth twice he now said that was because it was after 1 I replied it was early today for which he replied they changed the times to 11 instead of 1 now. I hate being lied to and this guy was a pro. So I called Home Depot corporate headquarters I spoke with one of the heads of the complaint in the logistics department. She was fantastic and asked if she could call Estes while I was on the phone I said sure which she did and came back and told me that JW had actually REFUSED 5 containers this week. The corporate headquarters at HD said they requested that Estes file a complaint on all five containers due to supply chain disruption. I'm not sure how your running this company or if you're even aware of all the issues but I'm sure this will get your attention and you shouldn't be happy. I live in a gated community and I hope that the driver will either use my phone number or my last name at the gate to get in. It's really been very trying to get something very simple. Even after the reply nothing has happened. They are still behind in the containers and stating that the package is in transit which is not true. I received a text that they would deliver a fridge to my work between 8 AM and 6 PM. I waited until 6:30 PM and went home. Called, emailed, texted, but got no response from anyone at JW Logistics. I woke up and I saw a notification that the fridge was delivered, but since no one was at the office anymore... They left it in the driveway entrance, blocking the parking lot for all of the employees and clients. Nice. read more

Horrible. I've never experienced a company so unresponsive and unaccountable. I still don't have my Home Depot vanity. For 5 days now the continue to push the expected delivery date to tomorrow. The tracking number will not work on their site, wait on hold for 10 minutes to then be pushed to vm and no one returns the call (multiple times), tried to use on-line chat for that after several minutes to say "Sorry we are unavailable" (after the chat said they were). Horrible experience. If you can avoid using them, do so. I ordered a 251 lb. cabinet to be brought into my home, through Home Depot -- paying quite a bit extra for that service. J W Logistics was the vendor chosen to install it in "Room of Choice." The description for the service said I would receive a notification from the vendor giving me a 4-hour delivery window. That's not what happened. I received a text from JW on Dec. 5, saying my cabinet would arrive the next day. It was supposed to come on the 9th. According to the text, the delivery window was 8am and 6pm (not sure what happened to the 4-hour window) and the driver would call a half hour beforehand . I work from home, so I was able to flexible, and waited all day for the call. It never came. The text message said to reply if I had any questions. I asked if the delivery would happen the next day. No response. When the all-day delivery window was closed, I decided to run an errand. I opened my garage door and there was a giant box in my driveway, blocking my car. They had "delivered" the cabinet to my driveway in the middle of the day. No call, no text, no doorbell, no nothing. They didn't even honk. Probably because I would have wanted them to, you know... BRING IT IN. If I hadn't happened to go out, I never would have known it was sitting in my driveway. The cabinet is 251 lbs, so I couldn't do anything with it. I paid for the "Room of Choice" delivery for a reason. I called Home Depot. They called JW. JW didn't answer. I called JW and eventually went to voicemail. I left a message. No callback. Home Depot tried again. No answer. Two days later, I have not heard back from them. I am returning the cabinet so I can get my car out of the garage and I will make some other plan. If Home Depot is going to insist on using these folks, I'm buying the cabinet elsewhere. read more

For 7 days we called trying to find out where the refrigerator was and got nowhere. 3 days ago we started raising a very big stink. Lies after lies after lies and now nobody is returning calls. Terrible service the delivery driver calls a half an hour before 5PM and tells me there is a 2 hour delay. The two hours pass and he never shows up. I have to call IKEA and the next delivery date isn't until May 10th. Now I have to go to the location which is over an hour away to pick up a large couch. I've been waiting on this delivery since 4/19. Why call and give an ETA and never show up. This is completely terrible and unacceptable service!!! What kind of company is this! Terrible company! I ordered a couch from Ikea Jacksonville and was supposed to be delivered May 14th, get the delivery but notice I'm missing three boxes so half of my couch! They were very responsive and kept in constant communication throughout the delivery process. Even though the original sender did not give them clear instructions regarding the delivery, they acted very quickly when we contacted them. We also appreciated that they went above and beyond to ensure we got the table before Thanksgiving, even though that meant sending it on a special delivery rather than what would have been the normal delivery a week later. Mind boggling that this company can stay in business. I ordered a patio cover on August 13th from Home Depot, with a delivery noted as 2-3 weeks out. It is now October 1st - 7 weeks out. The company is DOA, never answers the phone - any time of the day. Home Depot called 4 times over an hour and each time they waited on hold for 4-6 minutes only to be transferred to voice mail where they were told to leave a message and someone would get back to them in 48 hours. Home Depot then said, maybe you should call - which I did, left a message, 3 days later nothing. Covid is not an excuse to waste your customers time. Come on you are a freight company, it's pretty basic, put a single person in a room with a phone, there are tons of unemployed people who would love a job. read more

Today our frig was delivered. Not a large size, at most 100 lbs. Watched the person with a hand truck transport from truck bed to a lift platform by pushing it off the truck and dropping approx 6 inches down to lift gate roughly. The box had some damage, and we hope the sensitive freon inside doesn't have issues. The box says 2 person lift, no hand trucks. Fingers crossed. I will say on a positive note, the guys were pleasant. After waiting 4 hrs, turned on frig. Heard compressor briefly. Later no longer making sound. I ordered a Husky Tool Chest from Home Depot on July 15. It arrived at JW Logistics in San Francisco on July 22nd (entered their system). The Home Depot email said Expected Delivery, August 3rd along with a JW Logistics (JWL San Francisco) Tracking number that links to a website THAT DOES NOT WORK! I ordered a heavy crate item from Home Depot to be delivered to my house. JW Logistics was responsible for the delivery. Let me first say that the deliverers, Noe and Mando, were excellent. They called me when they arrived. They helped me by uncrating the item and getting it into place where I wanted it. They did it carefully, not to damage the item or to the surround furniture. Kudos to them and their customer service. I understand that JW Logistics hired them as a 1099 contractor and that Noe runs his own transportation business. If I ever need help transporting large and heavy items, he will be my go to. Now the reason for my 3 stars instead of 5. My line of work requires me to travel weekly. It greatly benefits me when I can coordinate and plan events in my timeline. Home Depot merely gave me a set window of delivery time from Nov 6th to Nov 12th. While it does narrow it down, it is ultimately up to JW to lock in that delivery date. I am just thankful that I was at home to accept the delivery. Being home allows the customer to ensure that the item is not damaged in any way and it allows supervision of the unloading of said item, especially large crate items. To achieve 5 stars, I believe there needs to be a total of three notifications, whether it being an email, text, or phone call. First being a heads up the moment they lock in a delivery date with their contractor. Second, a notification on the day of, stating that the delivery is on its way. Lastly, a notification on arrival, preferably a phone call. I only received one phone call and that was when the item arrived. I believe it would greatly boost the reputation of the logistic company as good communication is a sign of professionalism. I'm updating my review of JW Logistics based on the simple fact that I was able to establish contact with them as the final mile carrier for my Home Depot online order. In fact, it was my initial Yelp review that caught JW Logistics' attention, and led them to contact me. I won't say I fully understand why a company would be more responsive to a single social media posting than a direct (and private) e-mail or a direct phone call to a customer service line, but at least there was a way to get their attention. After establishing contact with "Lindsay", I was able to learn that JW Logistics records did not show my order as having been received from the middle carrier (Estes) , and therefore, could not provide an actual delivery date. While this wasn't welcome news, it did lead me to open an investigation ticket with Home Depot to try and find my order. Ultimately, I have been forced to cancel this order, and seek an alternative solution for my bathroom remodel. If JW Logistics had answered my calls, returned the phone messages I left, or responded to e-mail that I sent according to their on website's directions, then I would likely have posted a more favorable review on Yelp (or not even posted anything at all). read more

This bundle was securely wrapped and placed a pallet however, it appears that in maneuvering this shipment either in the warehouse or on the truck, a fork lift broke the pallet and punched through the box, damaging the vanity. The driver was friendly and even took pictures of the damaged box. Home Depot has been notified and will be calling JW logistics to return and pick this damage shipment back up. read more

If you're using these guys it's because you ordered something and have no choice! As mentioned in other reviews, their tracking system is broken. Usually the tracking link just goes to their main page. They don't deliver quickly, so you will never know when to expect delivery I ordered a tool bench from Home Depot and they used these guys. I was patient, so the delivery time didn't bother me too much. I get a call at 2:08 from the driver on the delivery date because he says he couldn't locate my address. He said it's not on Google. I like Google, but I'm shocked a professional delivery company would use google. It's not really a professional resource as it can be incomplete. I called him back to give him instructions and he said he had already found and delivered it. So no issue there, other than the fear he was just going to bail on the delivery. Or potentially he just dropped it off at the wrong place. When I arrived home, it was sitting in my driveway on a pallet. This guy was too lazy to take the box off the pallet so he just left the giant pallet. So thanks for the errand? Now I have to find out how to dispose of a pallet? I wonder if his boss knows he's handing out free pallets? Either way, these guys stink and Home Depot should not use them just to save a few bucks. read more
