The young lady on the phone insisted this wasn't possible. She said I had to order 3 flavors. No exceptions. After going back and forth with the rude lady, I hung up and decided to order directly at the restaurant. I simply divided the wings into a 30 piece and two 10 piece and got the two flavors I wanted. It was the same price as ordering a 50 piece. Problem solved without the rudeness. The wings and fries were hot, fresh, and delicious. The service was fast. I love wings. Here lately, I've developed a taste for garlic-parmesan wings. I heard J Wings had some amazing wings. So I went to try them tonight. Here was my order, a #2 (10 wings, fries and drink). I ordered all 10 wings as garlic-parmesan and my fries with ranch on them. Well, there was a miscommunication between the register and the kitchen. My wings came out 1/2 garlic-parmesan and 1/2 lemon-pepper. The birthday girl behind counter immediately offered to remake them but I was tired and ready to go home...and I like lemon-pepper anyway. Then the other girl behind the counter told me that "they be bussin'". I looked up "be bussin'" up on line and it means exceptional. I agree, they were exceptional. Wings were smaller than a pinky... seriously. Fultondale fire sauce was like trying to eat BARE salt and vinegar at the same time. And the boneless wings are basically over cooked chicken tender chunks with the similar texture of rubber. Nothing is freshly cooked. I eat about 6 boneless pieces of the 15 and threw them away. I've had better wings from a gas station!! I wasted 27 dollars on this and I won't be back. Gas station drive thru We've ordered boneless wings from here a few times. They have several flavors for the Wings. We've tried Hot, Fultondale Fire, and Cajun Ranch. All delicious. Fultondale Fire offered enough heat for us without being unbearable. But we are heat lovers. It was fairly hot to my in-laws. Cajun Ranch is really good, creamy sauce with just enough seasoning. Chunks of chicken are hearty, not overfried, good crust. I've actually liked these better than Buffalo Wild Wings. Very nice family running this business as well. read more

I have heard a lot of good things about this restaurant, so I finally decided to check it out. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with upmost respect. The man who took my order was very friendly. I told him it was my first time eating there and he went out of his way to tell me what was good and even provide a sample of their "j punch" (homemade fruit punch) it was delicious. I was very torn on a low key Monday night. I was left at home with newborn twins and dinner on my own. I already decided picking something up would be my best bet. And usually when left in this situation, wings are a go to for me since my wife isn't always the biggest fan. I had J Wings bookmarked for a while and really wanted to try it. It was going to be a 20-25 minute drive to get there, but I figured it was worth at least one shot. Still currently ranks as the top decision I have made in September. Especially since I had the two babies and this was one of my only wing options with a drive-thru. I opted for a half order of Cajun Ranch and half Honey Mustard. I still can't decide which one I like better. And I also went with the combo of fries and a drink. Plenty of food and the cost wasn't bad at all. And when you consider the deliciousness of the wings, WELL worth it. The wait after ordering did take quite a while. But I would now wait until the next total eclipse for these wings. And that helped me know that it was being cooked to order. Which you could taste that freshness in the wings. Perfect amount of meat and crunch and the sauces were incredible... as already mentioned. Just ate my first J Wings takeout meal. It was incredibly delicious. Also, I wasn't familiar with ordering sauces and was unaware of the upcharge for the additional ones. I told the sweet girl who checked me out too late, and she couldn't charge them on my card because the price was too little. Of course, I didn't have any cash. They didn't have to, but they gave me the sauces (I needed 4), saving me a stop at the DG to buy ranch. Awesome food and awesome customer service! Will be back soon! read more

I had just left my Dermatologist office and I had not eaten since breakfast , I saw the restaurant across the street, and I was pleasantly surprised that it was a Black owned business, I initially went through the drive through and was going to eat on the run , I paid at the window, but I told him I was going to dine in, store was clean, nice television and warm, requested that wings to be crunchy, they were and the fries were excellent too, I usually don't eat all my fries, but these were just as good as the wings, get by there and less keep them in business, I plan on a return trip! read more
