    Cajun ranch fries

Beer cheese & pretzel bites ($3.50) Medivac Sandwich - Turkey, bacon, Gouda, golden bbq sauce, served on a ciabatta bun ($12) KC-135 - black angus & Swiss on a baguette with au jus ($13) Cajun ranch fries ($4.49) Parking is absolutely no issue. We ordered on an iPad ourselves when we walked in - I loved this feature because it gave me a second to analyze all of the options. There is plenty of indoor seating but they have a great covered patio too. As I mentioned, it'd be a great place to take little ones because they'd be fenced in. We'll definitely be back!

My mom was in town for a visit, and we needed a quick bite to eat before her flight. We stopped in Alpha Charlie and it was such a good decision. The service was great, and the food was good too! The space is so cool and unique. There are fun facts around the restaurant and airplane parts as furniture. We had burgers and even tried the cinnamon covered pork rinds. (They were handing these out free) everything was amazing! We can't wait to return! My only complaint was the temperature inside. There was no a/c and it was a very hot summer day. So I would be prepared to sit outside if there is a breeze.

Four stars are for the location. On a recent visit here, my friend and I stopped here for breakfast. For two omelets with cheese grits, one order of toast and two drinks, we spent nearly $40. The food was average at best, and some items listed on a menu I viewed online were not available or the menu had not been updated. Service was good and as we sat, our food was brought to our table. The grits came out way before the omelet and the cheese never really melted. While this was neither the best nor worst food I've eaten, the views of the airport were unmatched. I watched several small jets and several commercial flights take off. We opted to sit outside and brave the summer bugs. I want to go back just for the view and to try the lunch menu.

For is actually very good...great place to bring kids to view planes taking off. Effecient's service and generally a great space outside & in.

Great place to eat and watch the airplanes take off. Good sandwiches and a place to play for kids. Even part of an airplane in the Cafe for pictures.

I don't find many quality spots to grab food in this area so I was pleasantly surprised to find Alpha Charlie tucked away, across the from the airport. Great views with seating indoor and outside. A solid menu of quick bites including a pretty tasty bean burger for my vegetarians. The owner, Randy was extremely hospitable--I will def be back again when working in the area. 5 stars! PS- Have you served in the military? Be sure to bring a photo as they are aiming to decorate the wall with service photos.

The food was better than we expected and the views were amazing. Going for the experience alone is worth it. The service was also great! It was busy when we went but the wait was not long at all!

We heard about this spot on social media and decided to give it a try. It has a very cute atmosphere with the airplane theme which is perfect being located behind the airport. The food was good which we had the wings and Philly sandwich...my favorite were the fries. It was nice to sit in the outdoor area and watch the planes. I think this is hidden gem for Bham that more people should know about. Wish they had evening hours bc I would have loved to bring the kids to watch the planes but they close at 3pm.

My mom and I went to ACG for lunch during the week. It was a little crowded, but it wasn't too bad. You order at the counter and they will bring your food out to you. We dined inside but there is also a covered patio. I loved the patio space because you could really see the airplanes taking off. Love the strategic placement of this restaurant! You can see the airplanes inside as well. It really adds to the experience. My mom and I both enjoyed our food selections. I had the JP dice dogs and fries. My mom had the popcorn chicken and onion strings. (See pics). Food was fresh with generous portion sizes. I plan to return when I have more time. This was a good first time visit!

Cool restaurant where you can see planes take off or land. They have indoor and outdoor seating options. Inside has cool decor. I ordered the burger which was pretty good. The manager was really kind and gave us the backstory on the restaurant. Highly recommend

There was a bit of a wait before my order was taken, but honestly, it worked out in my favor because it gave me plenty of time to look over the menu. There were so many tempting options that it was honestly hard to decide! I ultimately chose three items and enjoyed a few bites of each. Ham & Fontina Scone: This was my first time trying a scone, and I was pleasantly surprised. The texture reminded me of a dry biscuit, but the ham added a delicious savory flavor that I really enjoyed. Frittata Plate: The frittata was SO good! It wasn't too dry, and all of the flavors worked really well together. It was served with polenta, which reminded me of really fine grits, along with fruit. After trying it, I realized that one entrée would definitely be enough for me to enjoy on its own. Breakfast 'ZA: This was essentially a breakfast pizza topped with a fried egg, and the egg was such a nice touch. The 'ZA itself was really good, although I think adding something similar to a gravy or sauce would make it a little less dry. Even without it, though, the fried egg really took it to another level. Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso: I decided to try the Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso, which was the barista's pick. This was my first time having a shaken espresso, and I'm so glad I gave it a try! It was refreshing and perfect for a hot day. The inside of Trattoria ZaZa is nice, although it is somewhat small, so I opted to sit outside. It was a very warm day, but the awning provided plenty of shade and made the outdoor seating comfortable. I also appreciated that, even though the restaurant doesn't have traditional table service, someone periodically checked on me to make sure I didn't need anything else. Overall, I had a great brunch experience at Trattoria ZaZa. There were plenty of menu options, the food was flavorful, and I really enjoyed trying a few things that were new to me. I'd definitely be open to coming back and trying more of the menu!

That wasn't immediately obvious from many of the reviews I read beforehand, so don't let the hotel location deter you--this is a destination restaurant in its own right. The dining room has an upscale yet comfortable atmosphere that makes it just as suitable for a business dinner as it is for a date night or special occasion. If you're visiting downtown Birmingham--or staying at the Redmont--don't overlook Harvest just because it's inside a hotel. But I'm sorry the food? (In my case shrimp and grits) was NOT GOOD. And don't get me wrong, it wasn't a horrible flavor, but the flavors it did have were terrible. First the grits are not smooth at all. Like they aren't super course but they definitely could have been cooked down more. And they had little seasoning. And that's being generous. Then the "creole" sauce on top? Can we ask the audience what they consider creole? Because that was just pure tomato sauce. Like straight out a can, had to be. No way someone cooked that sauce from scratch or even with creole seasonings or typical additives I'm sorry I just refuse to believe it. AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST... 5 shrimp??? You can't be serious. I could understand 5 shrimp if they're the huge jumbo ones but these are smedium at best. Like I feel BAMBOOZLED because no way I paid 24$ for 5 shrimp and maybe 1.5 cups of grits. But imma be honest I'm not surprised the food wasn't that good. Any place that puts on the bottom "we can't refund for food you don't like" that should tell you everything you need to know. But I digress My friends said the tequila sunrise was good so that's another star. Service and tequila sunrise. The only highlights. The venue is pretty but I don't recommend
