They even allowed us to have our two small dogs in the cab while hauling our vehicle back to town. WARNING - I am going to bash on AAA and give lots of love to Dacus!!! (I wish I could rate them 6 stars) My truck broke down about 15 miles south of McPherson, KS. I have AAA and called them. I gave them both my GPS coordinates and mile marker number I was located at on North I-135. They indicated a tow truck would be dispatched within an hour. I called AAA 2 hours after the initial call to confirm they had someone coming. They indicated I had been elevated to a top priority and a tow truck would be there within 20 minutes. Guess what? - another 45 minutes goes by and no tow truck. I called AAA again. they indicated the tow truck had already done their pick up and this order was closed. Obviously it was not, because I was still sitting on the side of the road. AAA said the towing company had done the pickup in California and it was complete. I asked them how they could make a mistake with GPS coordinates and a physical description of the Interstate with mile marker. The customer service rep passed me on to a supervisor who did not have a good answer but indicated they would start another pick up. Extremely frustrated at this point, AAA indicated it would be approximately 3-4 hours before a tow truck could arrive!!! Are you kidding me? At this point I googled tow trucks near me and Dacus came up (along with 5 star review). They said they would be at my location within 20 minutes. They actually arrived in 15 minutes. The driver was extremely courteous and even let our two small dogs ride in the cab of the tow truck. He then dropped my vehicle off at the dealership and dropped me and my wife off at our house. Needless to say I will be cancelling my AAA member ship and if I am within 100 miles of McPherson, KS and need a tow, I will be calling Dacus. What a fantastic team and great customer service.

Nothing on their invoice showed that they were justified in charging that amount. The only way this job could have been easier is if my car had been on dry ground.

After some minor paint damage happened to my car, I took it to Dacus for an estimate. They…read moreperformed the estimate and sent it to me, and then I provided it to my insurance company - all good so far. After insurance processed it, we received a check for $500 less than what the claim had been. I called the insurance company to ask why this was, and they said that Dacus had agreed to do the work for the lower price, so with my deductible and the check they had sent I would be good to go. I called Dacus to schedule to work, however they surprised me: They said they didn't care what they had agreed to with the insurance company, they would be charging me the full price on the original estimate, and probably more, and I would just have to eat what insurance didn't cover. Thankfully, I called my insurance and was able that check voided (it was addressed to the body shop), and found another body shop that agreed to do the work at the price that Dacus had agreed to do it for before they tried to make me pay the original estimate price out of pocket. The insurance company had the documentation that Dacus had agreed to do the work for that lower price, email trail and everything, so Dacus apparently thought they would just agree to the lower price and then get some extra money on top out of me. No thanks.

Turns out they will not work on anything older than 2012. Give me a break, a perfectly good bike and I can't get service done. Freaking ridiculous. Can't do service on my current machine, sure won't be getting any new business
