It needs to be known that this happend and we need answers to see what will be done about this . My daughter wanted a toy behind the counter and I asked Tracy ( the person at the register that I was checking-out with . If my daughter could get a toy and if she could give it to her . Angie got maniac crazy screaming at me in Spanish and wouldn't stop. I told Angie she was on the clock to stop and she was in the background screaming at me and cursing at me in Spanish calling me names .she said she didn't care . Debbie the manager in duty did nothing when she came back to help me return the things I bought. Angie continued to curse at me in Spanish . Angie was not stopped .Debbie didn't do anything and continue to do my return. Debbie eventually said " Angie stop " with a laughter and didn't stop Angie , as she continue to curse at me in Spanish . I asked Debbie for the corporate number and she said she didn't know it , Angie continue to scream at me then said I could google it if I wanted to . this is not store policy . It was humiliating . Mental health is important , there is no sane reason to curse at anyone while purchasing items . I hope Goodwill addresses this issue to where Angie no longer gets to curse at anyone in any languages she knows . Spanish speakers should be welcome and not by cursing at us . Because I have cats, I wanted to make sure it was cat dander free. I took it to 12th Avenue Cleaners upon recommendation from a friend. I was told it would be ready by Tuesday, but when I went to pick it up, I was told it wouldn't be done until the next day, Wednesday. I showed up, picked up my blanket, went home and was immediately sick to my stomach! The pictures tell the story. I'm trying not to be upset, but I am let down that they didn't let me know that it was damaged. He just put it in a bag and sent me on my way. Lesson learned. Just like I check my food to be sure I got what I paid for at a drive through, I need to do the same when I go to the dry cleaner to voice my concerns about the finished product. I am sick that I am going tobe embarassed giving it to my daughter for my first grand baby, but I want her to know that I had good, loving intentions. I'm not sure that I WOULDN'T recommend this business, I just know my first experience here will be my last.

It is collection of small business owners with hispanic goods and foods. It is an amazing event that has a lot to offer everyone. Parking can be tricky but the park across the street is a decent place to park. Vendors can change their space weekly and there are new vendors every week. There is a DJ spinning La Chona and other classics and the vibe is very family friendly.

In addition to being a venue that people can rent for business or personal functions, it's also a little museum. They have a kitchen, a nursery, a computer room with HP computers if someone wanted to do a class there, other classrooms of varying sizes, and larger rooms where people could host something like a wedding reception. They even have a bar. For the museum type, you can walk around and look at artwork on the walls upstairs and downstairs, bright, colorful murals showcasing some classic Mexican themes like loteria, La Virgen de Guadalupe, Selena, and a low rider couple. They also have a room that has some ornate Mexican sombreros, dolls, and more artwork. This would be a great place to take younger kids, or homeschoolers on a field trip, and of course, to rent space from to host a variety of events.

I, like millions of children out there, have experienced homelessness as a child and homelessness is something that is very near and dear to me. As a child, I grew up in a drug home and we lived many nights in our van, the park, homeless shelter (Opportunity House in Vacaville, Ca.), and in a park. As a child this wasn't easy, as an adult, I could only imagine. We've seen the issue in our community with homeless, most recently the tragedy of a young girls life at the Boise Walmart. This review isn't here to debate why people are homeless, it's to review a non-profit agency that is taking this issue into their hands and supporting individuals to end homelessness. I heard about CATCH from my partner, George, who was looking for community resources to help one of his employees who's been sleeping in their car. This review is based solely on research and word-of-mouth to bring community awareness and resources for our loved ones and other members in need in Idaho. I have not used their services. I will be adding both of their locations to Yelp and using primarily the same review. This is CATCH's first review and my 438th Yelp review. CATCH has three programs: Housing Placement and Rental Assistance-- help build a Housing Plan together to you find an affordable home in your name. They will sponsor the application fee, security deposit, and rent (eligibility requirements must be met). They offer as much rental assistance as is needed to stabilize you, which varies family-to-family. Case Management-- this is a person that stays with you after you've found a place. They will help you set long-term goals and help minimize the risk of recidivism. I've done Case Management and its some of the most rewarding and hard work I've done. They become a partner of yours. There to listen and help you help yourself. Financial Independence-- they partner with other providers, locally, to help you and your income. According to their website, they offer financial literacy, budget counseling, and job development skills needed to ensure that your income is sustainable enough to maintain your housing.
