I have a bike with a Shimano internal hub that needed to be calibrated; it would skip when I had to pedal hard uphill. I took to another shop in the area that wasn't able to solve it, they told me it was "bad" and that it would "get worse", needing a new one eventually. I called Trek; Chris was very patient with me over the phone and Drew readjusted the tension on it! They took the time to explain the issue and how they solved it. The majority of the route was on Ranch Road 1 which was great since there are multiple rest stops with bathrooms and scenic views along the Pedernales River (long horns! herds of deer! LBJ Ranch! and more!). It is worth mentioning you are riding on the road so be cautious of oncoming cars even though there is not much traffic. Would also recommend renting an e-bike as it made the trip more leisurely especially going up inclines. We wanted to try the other paths, particularly the LBJ Loop, but were short on time, unfortunately. Overall a memorable and worthwhile experience!
