I have a bike with a Shimano internal hub that needed to be calibrated; it would skip when I had to pedal hard uphill. I took to another shop in the area that wasn't able to solve it, they told me it was "bad" and that it would "get worse", needing a new one eventually. I called Trek; Chris was very patient with me over the phone and Drew readjusted the tension on it! They took the time to explain the issue and how they solved it. I will bring bikes there in the future, especially the two that I have with internal gear hubs. Thanks again!

We chose the Stonewall Loop since we were able to stop and get some ice cream at Burg's Corner market and a glass of wine at Cicada Cellar. The majority of the route was on Ranch Road 1 which was great since there are multiple rest stops with bathrooms and scenic views along the Pedernales River (long horns! herds of deer! LBJ Ranch! and more!). It is worth mentioning you are riding on the road so be cautious of oncoming cars even though there is not much traffic. Would also recommend renting an e-bike as it made the trip more leisurely especially going up inclines. We wanted to try the other paths, particularly the LBJ Loop, but were short on time, unfortunately. Overall a memorable and worthwhile experience!

The good news - my bike was repaired within 24 hours and the various repair prices were quoted so…read morethere were no surprises. The young man who helped me asked good questions ad to what I needed, was friendly and knowledgeable. He said if there were any additional charges, he would call me which I appreciated. My repair cost $85 which I thought was fair and reasonable. What was a pain were two things; there is no ramp into the shop via the sidewalk - NOT the bike shop's fault I understand - nor was there a ramp inside the shop - just stairs - so getting a full-size bike in and out was awkward, to say the least. My repaired bike was rolled out to me in the store and the young man who retrieved it carried it up the stairs and said, even though I said my van was two cars over, I'll put it on the sidewalk.' While I am a pretty fit person, I AM a senior citizen and I would have appreciated his putting it in my van.
