Went to the drive thru and when we were ordering the girl sounded like she hated her life and job and gave so much attitude for no reason at all. Also the lady forgot our food items, then proceeded to give so much attitude saying she put them in the bag when there were definitely items missing. This is the second bad experience with this location. First time I waited over 35 mins for food. Litterly a burger curly fries and a drink. This time was the new monster taco box and a few other small things. Lady who was at the widow was down right rude. She told me to pull to the front. Person in front of me got there food and the people behind me have gone and left. Im still waiting out front after 15 mins no food. Manager needs to take a good look at their night crew because they have poor attitudes. I asked before I went to the front how long because I have to get back to work. She shrugged her shoulders and said "I DK". Umm ok I expect the same service as everyone else. No reason for the attitude I recieved from the girl. Frankly at this point I just want a refund. I could have gone across the street and been back to my office in 5 mins. Will be contacting corporate tomorrow. I'm not picky or normally one to leave a bad review. I ordered two number 3 combos and the fries were nasty! Tasted like they were 2 days old. same with the burgers, They were smashed and just tasted like the life was sucked out of them. For $27.54 it just wasn't worth it at all. 10/10 don't recommend this location. ( Unless all your getting is a soda ) that was the best thing there. So this Jack in the Box is one of the few places in Caldwell besides Los Betos that's open all night, so it remains very popular. On average, it's usually pretty good. However, it's completely inconsistent; this seems mostly related to their troubles holding onto the staff. One day, its fast service and tasty burgers. The next week, you find yourself arguing with the drive-in person about whether phone app orders need to be paid at the window (hint: you pay in advance in the app) and you get a tasteless burger with a random selection of condiments you didn't ask for (e.g., thanks for the sweet and sour sauce for my burger and hot sauce for my fries, ketchup is so bougie these days). One day they act like the pandemic never happened, the next day they seem to be following all the CDC guidelines. I'm not sure what is going on at this point in time, but it's confusing. I know the management cares about delivering a good experience to their customers because I've chatted with them before, but this place seems to be back to being in the weeds. I'll just wait till they get things straightened up again, and then return and hopefully give them a better rating. If I could give them any advice it would be to pay people a little more and you'll hold onto them longer. read more

We went there this morning after going to the fair. We were tired and hungry and needed a quick bite to eat. There weren't many options open at 1 AM. We were so disappointed in our meals. They had the worst-tasting food I've ever had. It was super greasy. I had to mop up the grease from my breakfast burrito with numerous napkins just to get a few bites down. The hash browns were overdone and had a nasty taste. Their frying oil is well past the expiration date. It needs to be changed. Everything tasted the same. Never thought I'd find myself in a situation where I'd be going to Jack in the Box after the hundreds of midnight trips to buy tacos in college. However, recently I had to make several trips in order to find my pregnant wife some snacks and appease her cravings. That's where their chocolate milkshakes came clutch in the wee hours of the morning. They even topped it with whipped cream and a cherry! Oh and all of a sudden, the breakfast menu provided a helping hand as well, saving the day with their breakfast croissants. Well for some reason they both agree on Jack In the Box. I dont know why because when they get in there they cant decide on what they are going to eat. There are too many choices. I dont know the answer to that. I do know that it does not seem to be sitting in some tin keeping warm waiting to be assembled when I order it. Meaning it took a little longer than most fast food. I did not order it and it magically appeared. The milkshakes were really good. We watched as the person behind the counter got the ice cream put in the real strawberries and made the milkshake right in front of us. Lets just say that was the highlight of the meal. Both kids finished their milkshake. Neither kid finished their meal. It was a chicken tender meal and a burger on a gluten free bun. Amazing that they had that choice there.
