The tortillas were homemade and the salsa had a great flavor. I ordered the sopes- a homemade thick tortilla with meat, lettuce, cheese, and tomatoes , top off with some good salsa and you're set. The sopes are small so if you're hungry, I would opt out for a bigger plate. The rice was well done and the beans were fresh. Really good food. Would definitely come again.

The atmosphere is very much the utilitarian, hole-in-the-wall style eatery, but it's always consistent and delicious and their long hours make it a favorite of the post-bar crawl crowd who know it's here. That being said, given its location, if you didn't go looking for this place, you would probably never find it, since it's a little off the beaten tracks (literally) near where the railroad crosses by some of Caldwell's industrial businesses.
