The DuPage County Health Department needs to take a serious look at this place . Went in at 4:00 p.m. on Friday placing an order on the kiosk . I then sat down and looked around the brand new restaurant . It was filthy . The tables were dirty the chairs were dirty the floor was dirty and there were hundreds of flies in the place . After waiting more than 30 minutes my number was called and the burgers were cold . I think they're being pre-made and stored in a cooler . The Buns were cold the meat was cold everything was cold . Plus I was missing one burger and one fry and had to go back to the madhouse counter to ask for the rest of my order . The lady in front of me ordered and the employee took her order and then walked away even though there were 3 people in line. Several employees preparing orders looked at us, but no one came to take our orders. I stood there for five minutes before someone from the drive thru asked if someone helped me and I told him no. He asked one of the food preparers to help me and she seemed bother by the request. Didn't say hello or smiled just took the order gave me my receipt and told me my order number. It took about 4 minutes to get my sandwich which was ok. It looked like there were upper management staff walking around taking pictures. The gentleman was walking around with a Portillo's drink. First it was crowded, the kitchen workers were so slow in preparing the orders. I wanted a salad, but they had no lettuce, so I had to hurry and choose something while people were in line behind me. The burgers were dry and tasteless. I had to wait 25 minutes for my food. Then I get home and find that 2 things were missing from my order. With all that said I will not be going back there!!! read more

This location struggled when it first opened a month or so ago but last night, Nov. 10th, the drive thru moved quickly and the food was perfect! Such an improvement and I am so glad for them! The drive thru service was friendly and quick. Really happy they figured it out since the hype has been real. Thanks Jack in the Box! Will continue to stop by from time to time. read more

This location is doomed to fail if they keep up this kind of customer service. We stopped by today (11/14) at around 2:30 in the afternoon. They had two customers already with their food in the restaurant and one car in the drive through. We waited at the counter for a minute or two for someone to take our order. No one helped so we tried to use the kiosk. Please know that they only modification you can make to any sandwich is to request it plain. We just didn't want mayo on our burgers. Went back the registers. One worker walked by us and said she was going on break and kept walking. We asked for help and were met with deer in the headlights blank stares TWICE. We finally walked out after about 5 minutes. We will NEVER go back. To corporate....if this is what you consider customer service, your financial trouble you are currently wading through should not be a surprise and is honestly a grave of your own digging. read more

Finally got a chance to stop at the new Jack in the Box in Carol Stream October 26th. I have never experienced a more clearly dysfunctional fast food restaurant in my 70 years. The parking lot was not completely full and the drive through only had a couple cars so we thought it would be a good time. We went inside and there were a lot of people standing around but didn't think much about it at first. Long story short we placed our kiosk order for 4 tacos, fries and a drink at 1:40 pm and finally received our order at 2:08 pm. Tacos were room temperature and the fries were the same. The most eye opening part of the experience was during the wait for our food was being aware of How many people were also waiting for their food. The staff appeared to lack any sort of training or what they were assigned to do and there was no sign of any leadership. I counted 10 employees behind the counter who were mostly talking and one sipping on a freshly made milk shake. No one was hustling to get the orders out. The self serve condiments area was empty of taco sauce and the napkins were almost empty. The trash containers were also full and the place looked generally dirty. This is a new business and I am very disappointed with the entire experience and will never go back. read more

First time at Jack in the box, 9:06 p.m October 25th we arrived at Jack and the box and found the whole lobby riddled with people, however upon trying to open the doors we discovered that they were locked. As we were about to leave, someone came out the doors so we promptly went in as they left. However we were stopped by this tall blonde employe with absolutely no respect or manners and kicked us out. When i asked why he responded with " well we have to close dont we? " like it wasnt more obvious that dining is closed. Than we went into the drive through and waiting a whopping 25 minutes for only a few cars ahead. Now i'd get it since the restraunt is new and all but whats most shocking is that while I was waiting in the drive through line, the same tall blonde employee walks out and starts vaping. like im sure u have better things to do considering how "busy" you guys are and distracts another employee. at this point it is 9:35 and he wants to cut off the drive through and I get that, what I dont get is how they were just yelling at the customers to either leave or get as close to the next car in front of them. Granted they just opened but it was a complete mess at lunch. I first jumped in the drive thru and it never moved in 15 minutes. I then parked and went in. There were approximately 8 people waiting and wasn't sure if I should give it a go but did. I ordered a 10 buck box with a burger and fries/ onion rings. 14 minutes to get food. You can tell because all the orders and their wait times are on a monitor. There were some clicking away at over 20 minutes. Sat down to a semi warm burger with tacos. Didn't dare try to tell them the order was wrong. The tacos were greasy and the fries were decent. Oh and when you leave the parking lot it's only one lane so if someone pulls in someone has to back out. All through the chaos were two obvious corporate people standing outside doing nothing the whole time Jump in people and train your staff and take care of your customers or you'll go the way of Arby's soon.
