We heard about this place from another foodie, and we were in the area, so we checked it out. The staff is very nice. We asked what they recommended, and they did not disappoint. We were taking the food to go (an hour ride home). We ordered one 2 Philly Steak Sandwiches (one with extra cheese) and two medium Student Fries as well as a Teacher Burger. The facility is nice and it is clean. The decor on the wall is nice. It's not too much or overwhelming. They have tables with chairs as well as high tables with chairs and booths for dining in. They also offer patio seating for the warmer months. There is a full menu as well as specials. I enjoyed a Philly Steak Sandwich with Student Fries. It's large, and I saved half for the next day. I did not try the Teacher Burger, but boy did it look delicious, and I was told it was! The food was very fresh and the portion sizes are extremely generous, enough for 2 meals each! The Philly cheese steak sandwich is absolutely amazing, and the chicken sandwich was very fresh and juicy. The signature student burger sauce is delicious, there maybe have been a bit too much on the chicken sandwich which made it very wet, but still delicious nonetheless. The food took 30 Minutes to come through so be aware of that. The portions are very generous! The sliders were perfect size for kids and the burgers were simply delicious. However, the gyros wrap and the Philly cheese steak had a little too much salt. It was still very tasty. Student Burger is conveniently located next to a gas station. As I walked in, I was instantly transported to a 1980s White Castle with no updates. There was dramatic music playing in the background, which made me feel like a hero while munching my food. The menu consists of a few burgers and other fast food items like chicken wings and sandwiches. I didn't really see anything unique other than Indian dessert items. We ordered a crispy chicken sandwich, a bacon student burger, chicken tenders, and fries. We went at an off time (3:30 pm), but it still took 29 minutes for the food to come out. My wife found the chicken sandwich to be dry, and the bun was rather big, but the mayo inside tasted interesting. The bacon on the burger was flavorful, but the beef patty was kind of dry; the toppings were the basic lettuce and tomato. The chicken tenders were actually pretty good, as were the fries; both items were crispy and not too greasy. Side note, supposedly the burger patties are made onsite using ribeye meat. I'd have to say 3.5 stars overall, but students are perpetually learning and get better over time. read more

I'm not entirely sure how this place has five stars in google reviews because it certainly doesn't meet up to standard. Like not even close. if you get the meal with any burger, it will cost you additional $2.95. It comes with the smallest fries you can ever imagine. The fries are good... but a meal comes out to be $14+ dollar.. not worth it in my opinion. You have a plethora of options at that price point. But seriously, stay away from the rice bowl. I wanted to go to White Castle, but they apparently bought the building and didn't change the appearance, so I didn't realize it wasn't a White Castle until I was approaching it from the street. The Hot Dawg "Student Dawg" took them...15 minutes to make? The fries were not enjoyable, and the hot dog didn't have any of the toppings promised on it. The drive-thru speaker and window was the mother and father of all Jerry Rigs. I couldn't hear them, and they couldn't understand me. The student burger offers certified Halal food at reasonable/low price. I came across this place on my way to the expressway near 53 and Army Trail Road. When I arrive to the student burger, the drive-through option was temporarily closed. However, I was still able to talk to someone at the window. The person at the window is sweet and respectful and let me know that my food was going to take 10 to 15 minutes, which is very nice compared to many other restaurants and fast food places. Usually, you're waiting at the drive-through, unsure of how long it will take and becoming a little impatient. The food was delicious and you can taste the quality meat from the first bite. I highly recommend this place to everyone -- Muslims and non-Muslims. The food is delicious and hot. I ordered the Buffalo Philly cheesesteak and the order came with fries too. As a fast food restaurant i would have to say student burger in on the top list due to many reasons. When you walk in the menu has all the different items listed they have a bunch of different food items a lot variety for picky eaters like myself. The customer service was above and beyond they took my order quickly and brought it out in a mannered amount of time to where the food was hot and fresh. Sohail was the manager who helped me out and my first time and made the experience 10x better. Would definitely recommend going here whether it's alone to grab a quick bite or go with family.
