I wasn't too sure about this place as it was empty when we arrived for lunch at 1pm. However, several people came in after us to order and delivery drivers were coming in to pick up to go orders. My steak sandwich was a monster. I thought it would be sliced steak, but it was a WHOLE boneless Ribeye. It was also the best steak sandwich I've ever had. It was big enough to make 2 meals but it was so good I was willing to make myself sick just to finish it. Never fear though I restrained myself and brought it and half the fries home. Speaking of fries, they were super crunchy and fresh -no soggy sitting around for these guys. My husband proclaimed the milkshake equally as good. Probably one of the best Philly steak sandwiches that I've had. All the meat and chicken is Halal. I ordered the Philly State combo meal. It comes with the sandwich, fries, and a small lemonade. So Baba's is a hard place to evaluate. I've been there 3 times, each time getting something different. The first time, I got a hot dog, fries and a lemonade. The second time, I got a gyro plate, onion rings, and cheese sticks. Today, I got a ribeye steak sandwich and some wings. I've gone at different times of the day, and I've driven past the place at least 50 times as I live walking distance from it. I have never seen any one in this restaurant, ever. It opens early and stays open late, but no one is ever in it. So that would be a pretty big red flag, right? Well, I have to say no, because each time, the food has been really good. The quantity is really good, the taste is excellent, the service is good (they are very nice), and they even show you your food before they bag it up. The price is reasonable for what you get, and the menu is quite expansive. That means it's big. I did ask the cashier where most of their business comes from, and she said they cater a lot of wing orders. Okay, that's great, but how come no one is ever dining in the restaurant? It has 6 or 7 tables. But they must not expect diners, because there's not much of a set up for napkins, table wear, etc. Still, it's a good place with really good food, so I would give it a try. I was really looking forward to finding a good Philly cheese steak, but I wasn't thrilled with the one here. Don't get me wrong - they give you a huge sandwich for the price (and keep in mind, fries automatically come with all the sandwiches and the combo just adds a lemonade), but I needed to add seasoning at home to give it a more robust flavor. The lemonade (it's a slushy type) wasn't great either. Tasted like overly sweet frozen water. The thing I liked the most was the side of BBQ sauce they included for the fries. I'm very picky when it comes to BBQ, so I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The person who waited on us was great, and while I didn't care for the Philly, the menu has plenty of other items to try so I will be back to give them a taste at some point. We tried it shortly after they opened, and the menu was limited, but the steak sandwich and lemonade were just okay. Last week, we tried it again, and boy, have things changed--such an expansive menu with so many options. We had a wing dinner and a catfish dinner with a dessert of chocolate cheesecake cake. I loved the wings, and hubby loved the catfish. We both liked the dessert. It was different, like a chocolate yellow cake with cheesecake filling. Will be back to try other options. read more

The website first is hard to navigate but once you get into the store there is no menu except the TVs that scroll too fast to read. I ordered a cheesesteak and lemonade and it was ready in a reasonable time. The beef was ok but it lacked flavor and needed more cheese for sure. For the price of $15 I was hoping for much better quality. I'm also pretty sure that I either got food poisoning or it just didn't agree with me because the day after has not been fun. Wanted to try somewhere new for dinner and glad we chose Baba's! Food was AMAZING! We ordered a chicken Philly, two gyros and some pizza puffs! The sandwiches all came with fries. The chicken Philly was huge and and came with all the toppings you could ever want, it was juicy and delicious! Both gyros, one extra crispy and one regular were made exactly as we requested and were also huge and delicious! It took about 15 minutes for the food because everything was cooked to order and very fresh! Oh and everything was super reasonable! For 3 people to eat plus leftovers was only $53!
