Charlotte JITB suck - There was no ice in the front area, the soda machine sucked and only had one choice (water), and the staff was rude about just getting orders out and general interaction. I've seen this at almost all of the JITB locations in Charlotte and I'm a huge JITB fan and really wish they'd get their act together. Even if you love love love JITB, I'd say to go to the Arby's next door as they were a million times better. I gave it two stars as that Egg Roll (even without the sauce which they were out of), was sooooooo good. But let's pull it together, JITB Charlotte Area. You're a bunch of clowns. read more

Davion is excellent!! (Dayvion? I apologize for the spelling). This was my first time at Jack in the Box and I will definitely be back. I was denied a shake at Arby's so I flew over to Jack in the Box for my first visit ever with them. Their shake machine was up and working, despite closing in 30 minutes. Arby's could never. Davion took my order quickly and with accuracy. Despite being the only employee working drive-thru and communicating with other customers via headset, he can multi task well and greeted me with a smile! My order was correct and out in no time. The salad is surprisingly filling (or maybe just when it's paired with a thick milkshake). The tomato and chicken don't come cut up, so you'll have to do that yourself, but everything else is perfect! I like how the lettuce is the shredded sandwich lettuce, because it's much easier to eat and makes me feel skinnier cause I'm eating thinner pieces of food! My shake is very chocolatey and thick, they gave me a straw AND spoon. They also don't skimp on the sauces, as Davion threw in TWO of their huge ranch baggies. Shoutout Davion!!!! read more

Absolutely terrible customer service I came through the drive-through and placed an order after I placed my order. The lady forgot to give me my drink and she forgot to give me my fries. I drove all the way home to find that out then when I came back up here to let her know that and I had an attitude. I work at a hotel close to them, tried coming over for lunch and was the ONLY person in the lobby, should have had my order taken pretty quickly right? wrong. 2 women were in the lobby cleaning and both looked at me as I came in. Personally, I thought the service was very nice in the drive-through, even if I did wait for at least 7-8 minutes (and there was only one car in front of me). But the food wasn't great. I ordered a sourdough jack and a small order of curly fries. I believe the fries were over $2, but they didn't even fill up the small bag, let alone top it, and the fries were all scraps. They had a good flavor, but they weren't even worth fifty cents for the tiny, left-over scraps they gave me. I did like the sourdough jack to a small degree, mainly because of the burger. The burger had a great taste to it. But I didn't taste the cheese or bacon much, the bread was soft and mushy, and everything besides the burger just tasted overly sweet. I've been to the majority of the 50 states several countries and never have I been stuck in line drive through for so long. It's been nearly an hour and I'm still stuck. It's sad because their menu has many options and it actually sounds appetizing. The night staff doesn't seem to care at all it seems like. Visited tonight around 8pm 05/06/19. What an experience. We walked inside and saw about 6 employees standing behind the counter laughing and cursing each other. I approached the register. A tall, young guy was standing there with a blank look on his face. We were about 3 ft apart. NEVER did he say hello or welcome or ask to take my order. After awkwardly standing there with him staring at us for 2 min I finally asked him if he was taking my order. He nodded yes. Not once throughout the whole transaction did he speak. He grunted often as if he hated being there. Aftef taking my order, he went back to the kitchen without washing his hands and began to help fill the drive through order. We watched the whole kitchen staff. They laughed, cursed, talked about females and smoking weed the whole time. My children were terrified of the place because of how tense and hostile the enviroment felt. We finally received our food. We could not wait to go outside to eat our food at the picnic tables. BAD IDEA. The outside was just as bad. What I assume was the manager was sitting out there smoking a cigar and was oblivious to what was going on inside. He finally got up and stood somewhere else. My kids began to eat their kids chicken tenders. After the first bite, my youngest nearly puked. His chicken was RAW AND MUSHY IN THE MIDDLE. My wife took both of the kids order back inside to be remade. While she was inside, a homeless man approached the front door where Im guessing the manager has a deal with him because he passed the homeless man something and the homeless man began swapping out all of the outside trash bags. My wife came back to the table and gave my kids their chicken tenders. Once again, the bit into the chicken and it tasted HORRIBLE. Not raw this time but the outside tasted like old oil. We threw away their food and made a dash for the car because of the sketchy group of guys that had assembled at the restaurant entrance. Jack in the box eh? I have to agree with Chad; Jack in the box is worth a review. They have an item on the menu that I just can't get enough of. Call me crazy, but trust me on this. =) So, every every Chinese restaurant here in Charlotte that I've tried has the worst, egg rolls in the history of egg rolls. They all seem to have the same bland flavor followed by a strange odor. Even the great House of Leng in which I enjoy oh so much has weird egg rolls. If I want a good egg roll, I will either go to a Thai restaurant or a Vietnamese restaurant. They are fresher and actually flavorful. If a Vietnamese or Thai restaurant isn't in the vicinity of my cravings though, Jack in the Box is the next best thing. They offer crispy egg rolls, with plenty of meat. It isn't all filling and their sweet and sour sauce is much tastier then the traditional duck sauce offered at most Chinese places. As far as the meat in the egg roll, lol excuse my ignorance but its like a mystery meat for me. It's a white meat and I always thought it was chicken, but I think its pork. They can be purchased individually or in a three pack. Another reason I praise Jack in the Box is because I and many friends practically lived off this place back in high school and college. They've had a dollar menu for quite a while and their two tacos for a dollar is the greatest deal in the world, especially after a late night of drinking. If you've been searching for a good egg roll, look no further. Jack in the Box is the place to get em!!!
