Having never ate at Jack in the Box, I was super excited to try it since my boyfriend talked about how good it was. We went inside to order. There was 1 lady waiting on our food and we stood at the register to place an order. There were about 5 visible workers. We stood there for about...6 or 7 minutes without even being acknowledged. At this point I was already beyond frustrated but still ready to give it a try. After 6 or 7 minutes who I assume to be a manager finally comes over and very rudely says "Were out of everything..." and proceeds to list nearly everything on the menu and then follows by "Were waiting on our truck"....I can understand being out of items, even a bunch of items but why in the world were we not told that right when we walked in the door. So needless to say I still haven't tried Jack in the Box...I will be willing to give it a try at a later date...at a different location. read more

I moved here from San Diego recently and we had jack in the boxes all over the place. This is the closest one to me and it's still a 30 minute drive but it is beyond worth it. I just stopped in to try some of the food. I had a friend rave about the tacos so I gave those a try and the chicken nuggets. The tacos were a bit of a disappointment and very sloppily thrown together. The nuggets were very good, some of the best fast food nuggets I've had. This place is great!! This is a fast food restaurant, but I feel like its a step up from the more traditional fast food places like McDonalds or taco bell. They offer a variety of foods such as burgers, egg rolls and DEEP FRIED TACOS!!! Yes you read that right. Get this tacos are 2 for 99 cents!! If none of these sound appeasing they also offer jalapeno poppers, breakfast sandwiches and dessert!! Definitely worth checking out. read more

Easily one of my favorite fast food places. Their tacos are awesome, they have a little kick to them. Great burgers and chicken strips. The onions rings. Holy yum, the onion rings. Perfectly crispy... Mmmmmm. I'm typically not a fan of chocolate shakes, but my hubs got one so I tried it, it was delicious!! And OMG, the churros!! Holy mother of God the churros!! They have some sort of cinnamon cream/butter filling in the center that makes me feel like they are heaven on earth. read more

I live in Michigan and I am originally from California. In Michigan there are no Jack In The Box locations and coming from California there were several around where I lived. I often crave Jack In The Box and when I'm out in the Ohio area I try and go to this location. I was able to dine in the last time I was here and just about everything was made really well and the experience was great. Food was brought out promptly and the restaurant was clean and quiet. I plan to keep coming here when I'm in the area. read more

This store is obviously going downhill. The drive-thru window was broken for months (covered with a dish towel), they bolted a plaque over the hours sign outside so that you have no idea when they're supposed to be open or closed, the lights in the store and parking lot are frequently turned off during regular business hours when employees are obviously inside, and the system is "down" more often than it's up. Wish corporate would bulldoze it, because everyone there is obviously allergic to work. read more

My niece suckered me into taking her here a couple days ago, and I'm right in the middle between two and three stars. I've heard people rave about the food, but I really it's really quite basic. The service, however, was superb. We went into the dining room and the cashier was verrry patient with us. Neither of us could make up our minds and being my first time there, I of course had to ask her about every item on the menu lol. We both wound up getting some breakfast, which they serve around the clock, and like I said, it was just okay. Don't do it.. They try to lure you in with promises of all day breakfast and being able to have a taco AND a burger all that once (if you're brave enough). But I'm warning you friends.. The staff leaves a lot to be desired.. The food is never right.. Ever. I asked for a chocolate shake and the drive thru lady said "you cool with strawberry.. They messed it up". Uhhh sure.. I'm not sending it back because I don't want any surprise consequences for doing so. Also I asked for an order of mini churros.. Which is about the only good thing there and they shorted me four of them....also I found a piece of greasy lettuce in the box along with it. I have never before and will never again eat at a Jack in the Box. I sat in line for 10 minutes before they took my order, with one car being at the window for equally long. It took them another five minutes to take my payment and my food hasn't even come yet. So far I have my drink and the charming drive through attendant told me to take it out of her nicer next time. I got the number 2 sourdough jack and the jumbo jack with cheese combo. Glad they open one up in Cincinnati. I enjoyed it in Cali when I visited so I had to try it again. Food is overall better than most fast food places in Cincinnati. One Exception being the beacon! Cashiers took their jobs seriously, trying to not have us wait unnecessarily, and explained the foods well. Areas were clean even in the middle of night. read more

I have limited opportunities to eat here and today was the day! I was so excited because I love everything on the menu especially the burgers on sourdough bread. I went through the drive thru because this is always fast BUT NOT TODAY!!!! With two cars in front of me, I waited seven minutes and did not move but one car length. I was on my lunch hour and did not have time for this franchise to get their deal together, I left and I still want that burger!!! My Mother and I live in Michigan, where there are sadly no Jack In The Boxes. Due to this we stock up whenever one is nearby. This is the second time we have stopped at this Jack In The Box, and every time we are greeted with friendly people. We ordered 36 tacos and were served by a man named Grady who made sure we got our tacos as quickly as possible, and that we got fresh hot ones. He exceeded expectations with his friendly nature and made us want to come back again. read more

I am going to review Jack in the Box as a late night food restaurant. Jack in the Box is in line with other late night food options. Not spectacular food, but will do if you need something after going out. It's open 24 hours and they serve their menu all day. They have a wide variety of menu items which is nice including burgers, chicken sandwiches, tacos, jalapeno poppers and egg rolls. I would only consider going for a late night bite though. The food was unimpressive. It was just alright fast food. On friday and saturday nights they attract the drinking crowd and the wait can be about 30 minutes. I had heard so much about jack in the box recently I decided it to give it a whirl. They told me they would bring the food out to me okay I thought they obviously want hot food for the customers. The food was pretty decent typical run of the mill fast food restaurant food. I was still in the mood for something more so I decided to go up and get a shake and expecting to hand it over to me they said they would bring it over to my table. Literally two seconds later the person hands me my shake as I was just about to sit down! I do not understand jack in the box's policy but the running back and forth seems a bit odd to me. Wow what can I say. What I thought was a hottie in a long marc Jacobs coat, turned out to be a classless rude woman but she still cute. Whatever the issue was this lady came in and yelled at the cashier who the whole time was being extremely calm,and polite. The marc Jacobs hottie, continued to belittle the worker and than called and yelled her the B word. Jack in the box employee Kim did such a great job maintaining her composer and being polite and the manager James did a wonderful job resolving the issue. I applaud you both and if it were up to me never let that lady in. Thank you for the great and delicious food and also the tremendous character and heart you showed me today. I moved here from CA 5 years ago and was disappointed that Cincinnati didn't have any Jack In the Box restaurants. I was very excited when this one opened and I've been to it 4-5 times since. Food tastes the same - good, a nice break from the other fast food places. But the 5 stars are for the employees. Each and every time I've been greeted with the nicest staff and best service. Kudos to the manager for some of the best hiring in the history of fast food! They're open 24 hours. I plan to go there for a super-early breakfast someday soon! read more

I work late nights, and this place is always open so I stop here on my way home and go through the drive through. I've never really had a problem with them getting my order right. I don't even check the bag anymore because I've never had problems! The woman who operates the drive through is always nice despite being really busy. I love the tacos the most. And only 99¢! There is either no one there or they are short staffed and ask me to come inside instead of the drive through. This morning I was given the short staffed line and asked to come in. This is a very poorly managed location. I have visited 3 times and have always found the restaurant and tables to be dirty. The utensils and condiments are never stocked. During my last visit the drink machine was out of Coke, Diet Coke, Dr. Pepper and Root beer. The employee taking my order never spoke to me. I watched an employee preparing food answer her phone with her gloves on. She talked on the phone then laid the phone on the counter and continued preparing food all with the same pair of gloves on. read more

Never had them until yesterday. I research the heck out of anything before commiting, and the opinions on the net were somewhat split. Tried them anyhow for lunch at work, and am so happy that i did. The service is excellent, and the food is so far pretty darn good. Have eaten there twice now; a double cheeseburger and curly fries one day, and chicken nuggets/strips and regular fries the second. Both times, i had their chocolate overload cake, which was fantastic. Comparibly priced to say, Wendy's, but I like Jack's food much better. I will be going here many more times in the future! read more
