Whenever we visit Cincinnati we have to visit at least one Skyline... usually much more than just once. We stopped in with my in-laws for dinner and I got coneys. The rest of the family ordered an assortment, coneys, three ways, chilitos and the new skyline nachos. The nachos were pretty good but I'll be sticking with my regular order of coneys with everything and if they have it, habanero cheese! Our server was really friendly and made sure our water cups were full and offered us extra oyster crackers. The service was super quick and we were able to get in and out pretty quickly, though we could have hung around as long as we wanted. I love that the skyline experience has consistently delicious food. I'm already craving another coney. read more

Love skyline but they've changed something. The chili is not a rich and flavorful as it was months ago. Also, when going through the drive thru, don't assume the phrase "do you want crackers or hot sauce" means they are planning on giving you any. I guess they are just taking a survey:) read more

Location is almost 2.5 miles off 71N on State Route 48 in Maineville but was craving Skyline while in the greater Cincinnati area. There is plenty of parking in the area and the location doesn't look that old. Inside is spacious with that dinner look and feel. This Skyline has really good service and the expected delicious food. I ordered the a Classic Cheese Coney ($ 2.79) and a Skyline 4-way ($ 8.39) with spaghetti, chili, onion, and a heaping mound of cheese. I washed it all down with a Diet Pepsi ($2.69) and snacked on some of the oyster crackers. Good experience and I forgot how much i like the Skyline hot sauce. Remember, you have to take your bill to the register to check out. I always get confused as their is a waitress and I don't dine at Skyline to often. read more

Avoid the drive through- they ALWAYS forget something, it's ridiculous! When they ask if you want hot sauce or crackers, seconds later they hand it to you and NEITHER of them are EVER in the bag! We ask for extra because maybe they're on auto pilot, and STILL we never get our sauce or crackers. We're always looking for good dining options when driving from Louisville, KY to Columbus. You get tired of the same old fast food. This location is 2.5 miles off I-71 at exit #28 (route 48) and it's worth the short detour. We've stopped here in the past and have always had excellent service. We both always order the same time (5-way Skyline chili). I go for the large and my wife orders the regular. I've found that the food served at various Skyline locations is very consistent from location-to-location. So, if you've a fan of Skyline chili - you should know what to expect. We LOVE Skyline and have probably eaten at just about every location. They are clean and the service is quick to greet , take order, and deliver food. HOWEVER, for the second time, we stopped at the Maineville location, sat and waited for over 5 minutes for any kind of service and finally walked out. There were 6 employees in the kitchen chatting it up, none on the floor servicing customers or cleaning tables. I guess I should take this one off my list! read more

I love skyline and this review is mainly about the awesome staff that took care of us. Hit this place on the way back to Cleveland to bring some home. Minute we walked in...instantly greeted. Let them know we were placing three separate big orders to go....and during a lunch crowd. No problem. I wish I could remember the older woman's name who took all of our orders along with working the drive-through and cashier. She was so nice and calm through all of the chaos between our order and the drive-through as well as checking people out who were paying their bill. At skyline you bring your bill up and pay at the register. When we got our order she took the time to go through each of our to go orders and they were right on the money. The whole time again was so nice and very accommodating. Thank you again for the great customer service and even better taste of Cincinnati we were able to bring home to Cleveland. This location had a weird drive thru which explains why it always seems intimidating which is why I never went until today The service? Absolutely amazing. The young women greeted me promptly when I pulled up, was patient as I decided how fat I wanted to be for the night, and then greeted me with a smile when I pulled and and left. Very nice service and a nice girl. I ended up getting a regular 3 way and 1 coney with everything. Both were delicious as usual and no complaints at all with the flavo or presentation (I mean it looks 20x better eating inside but that's to be expected). I did notice I only received one cheese, which maybe that's typical for a regular size, i dont know. Either way, it was more than plenty. I did receive a ton of crackers though so I'll have leftovers for soup or chili in the future. I would love to eat inside one day. The only thing keeping this from a 5* is how crazy the drive thru is during the day... not their fault... will change when I eat inside and experience service there but right now I can only judge on the drive thru. read more

Just another fantastic Skyline experience. It seems like whomever owns all the Skyline stores in the Mason/Maineville area have really stepped up their game. This was the 1st time I've been to this store and it was very pleasant. Seated right away, everything was spotless and the nice folks were cleaning up just about everything touched by a human person within seconds. Okay, enough pleasantries. Let's talk about our food. It was very tasty. The comets were perfect for me with a mound of cheese which, like I mentioned, this area is spoiling me... the lovey mrs got chicken fingers and fries and both were too darn hot to eat when they showed up so that was nice surprise. Our server, the very 1st Emmaline ghat I've ever met was super nice and attentive and took care of us like we were family. I think you should give her an award or even a raise. We will definitely top by again on our way thru Maineville. read more

Our family loves Skyline, a Cincinnati specialty. The staff here is always friendly and pretty quick with service. If you like cheese, you will love it here. They pile on a huge mountain of cheese which doubles the height of your coney or chili spaghetti They are wonderful supporters of local school sports and the kids enjoy seeing their team pics on the wall. They do have kids eat free night which gets very crowded and leaves the place a total mess. Watch for crowds on kids eat free nights and after school sporting events. read more

Rarely if ever have I met a Skyline I didn't like, but this one is above average, both in service and the quality of preparing those deelish coneys and 3-ways. They pile on the ingredients a little higher than usual here, and the servers take care of you like family. And the place is usually spotless. My wife and I make this our go-to Skyline. There are a few nearby, but this one wins our loyalty. It's our pick of the litter; we know we're going to get the best Skyline has to offer anywhere. Then take peoples checks/cash doesn't wash hands and then serves food with the same nasty hands literally touching all the customer food. The waiter even had scabs and bloody fingernail not bandaged. Often I find my friends and I stopping at the Mainville Skyline where service is over the top and one of the best. I had Madison and Kelly as my waitresses and they really did and amazing job as they served with a smile and they went over the top. Not just them but the entire crew did a fantastic job. Worst service teenage staff and young manager too busy watching March Madness to make our food. They had 3 tables in entire restaurant with patrons. We waited for food that never came a couple came in after us got their drinks and meal even before our food was made . 6 people watching TV Not acceptable and they didn't know why we left.
