This place is freezing!!! We had me, my husband and our grandkids and we couldn't take our coats off to eat, it was so cold. We could see our breath. They said they owners won't let them turn on the heat since they stay warm by all the kitchen heat. Food was pretty good, like usual. I really like the mini tacos and the burgers. Fries are always chewy and got hard so fast due to the inside temp. But I do like those weird tacos, so I'll definitely be back. Went there around 10:30am order a # 13 and chicken nuggets, mini tacos and choc milk shake for my grandson. Waited about 10 mins and then asked for our drinks while waiting for our order, she got the drink cup but forgot the milk shake, I stood there for a few minutes than she realized she forgot to get the shake. Got the shake which was very thick and gave a small straw as she said they ran out of the big straws. My grandson tried to use the straw with no luck, so I ask for a spoon, she gave me a fork ,lol as they had NO spoons. An other 20 minutes went by and we finally got the rest of our order there was a young man waiting for his order we talked about the lack of staff and how slow it was getting our orders he responded that he could faster service at a restaurant. My grandson still had problems drinking his shake that he finally gave up, so I gave him my soda. I took the shake up to the counter and I explained that the shake was too thick, she said let it sit awhile, lol we had already eaten and the chicken nuggets had only 7 not the 8 I ordered. My partner and I are on a road trip and traveling. We stopped at a Jack-in-the-Box early in the morning to get a drink and a couple of hours later decided that a snack was in order. Stopped at this Jack-in-the-Box and ordered a breakfast combo which came with a drink and a sausage croissant, which was not a combo because I already had my drink from the previous Jack-in-the-Box. Maria did not give us our drink for the combo. I asked her for it and she informed me that we already had a drink. I said no that drink was from another Jack-in-the-Box and I'm drinking out of it. That's why I did not order a drink. She informed me that we already had our drink and could not get another one even though we had paid for it. There are some very friendly people who work here. The food is alright. I've been here before when it stunk so bad inside from a man that had peed his pants multiple times. The whole place reeked of piss and we just turned around and left. I was in Jack in the Box today and right when I walked inside I heard a chick (baby chicken) chirping. The chick was walking on a table. I tried to take I pic over my shoulder but it didn't work and the people left. They ended up coming back in again and ordering more food. They sat at a different table and the chick was still chirping and walking all over another table. My first visit here. Ordered the Southwest double cheeseburger without the chipotle sauce, mayonnaise instead. They had to make my burger four times before they got it right. They did give me dessert for the inconvenience. In another note, the worker who took our order went from handling money to dropping food into the fryer. It's been a while since I'd been to Jacks. Today was a reminder why. Ordered the Bacon Swiss burger. There's no way it was made today. The burger was burnt and crisp around the edges. The cheese was all dried out around the corners like it had been sitting out for hours if not the day. The bun was slick with grease. Threw it away. The one star is for the curly fries. I ordered and paid for a large curly fry, I watched the employee throw curly fries across the restaurant all over the ground and when I asked for the curly fries I paid for she told me she was going to call the cops if I didn't stop harassing her. I would not recommend this location. I walked in at 3:20 in the afternoon with my kids. There were no customers ahead of us and an employee was standing at the register. She looked at us and walked away. A second employee walked up to the register did something then walked away. A third employee walked up twice, but he appeared to be a kitchen employee and actually looked perplexed that we had not been helped. The original employee then came back and said it would be a minute and she began showing a fourth employee how to use the register before they walked away. The original employee walked past us and not the bathroom. We were in the place for 17 minutes and nobody took our order. Normally I would not wait that long, but we were on the road and just wanted a quick bite before moving on. Worst experience. My 70 year old aunt went inside the restaurant an ordered free chicken sandwiches with cheese she came back outside of the car and we realize there was no cheese on it we looked at the receipt we weren't charged. So she went inside with the actual food and explains that she ordered cheese wasn't charged for it and a gentleman that work their claim to be the manager told her that she must be deaf and was rude. The guy reached around the back grab slices of cheese put it on the chicken sandwiches. My aunt 70 years old came outside and started crying when I asked her why she explained to me what I just said to you so I decided to go inside and speak with the manager. I often stop here before work to get a Breakfast Sandwich. My review is for the drive through and their lack of knowledge on their own gift cards. Several times I have been told that the Giftcard is invalid when I know there is money still on it. They tell me no no they tried it manually and it doesn't go through. They tell me to pull around the front and come in and they will try to figure it out. People I'm in a hurry to get to work! WTF? And then when I call the number on the back of the card, it verified that I had money still left on the damn card. What is the problem? Either get it together or stop accepting your gift cards! Rude workers , they literally had to fix my food FOUR times and refused to remake the rest of my cold food.. they refunded my money then made me reorder the whole meal just to get them to remake my food. Stopped by here around 7:15am Sunday morning, May 1st, to order breakfast on our way back to Yuba City. Since we were towing a boat and I needed to use the restroom, we parked our rig and I walked inside. There was one man already eating his food in the dining area, and one car in the drive-thru, yet I stood at the counter and waited several minutes before I was even saw a worker, who just said "Hi" and kept on walking until she was out of sight somewhere in the back of the kitchen. I continued to wait for another 3 minutes when she came by and said "Hi" again, but this time I held up my hand and said I'd like to place an order: Two Supreme Croissants, two hash browns, a medium soda, and a coffee. I paid, then went to use the Ladies restroom. Upon entering the restaurant, I'd noticed it looked very unkempt, but the restroom was 10 times worse. Unless a huge horde of people had come through just moments prior to my arrival and went Animal House on the place, there was NO reason for it to be in the shape it was in, especially at that time of the day. I was so grossed out, I used my ELBOWS to open the door to get out of the restroom. My order still wasn't ready yet, so I used the soda machine to at least get my drink going. I wanted root beer, and after filling my cup about 1/4 full, the machine ran out of it. Perfect. Instead of dumping the soda, I took my chances and filled the remainder with Dr. Pepper. After several minutes, my order came up. No coffee. So again I had to wait for the woman to stroll into view again, get her attention, and wait for her to finish filling my order. I had to ask for creamer, so she disappeared into the kitchen for another 3 minutes (I thought she'd forgotten about me!) before she reemerged with a large tub of creamers in it, which she shoved across the counter at me and walked off again. I got a to-go lid for the coffee over at the soda station; the stack of white lids had a dried reddish-brown substance dripped down the side, which had since dried on. (taco sauce, maybe?) Like I said, the place was a pig-sty. This entire ordeal took just under 15 minutes. I got back to the truck just in time for the bottom of the food bag to rip open, which was caused by the greasy hash browns that obviously hadn't been drained prior to placing in the bag. Unreal. I have never left a bad review for any business before, but this experience was so over the top from beginning to end, I just had to. The next time we come through the area, we'll try our luck at Carls Jr. across the street instead. Wish us luck. read more
