I ordered a large Combo pizza last Friday night (10/31/25) so I wouldn't have to cook. I was starving when we finally got home. First of all, a calzone, jalapeño poppers, and onion rings should not take forty minutes to complete. Other customers were eating in half the time. Yet, the calzone was overcooked and not-so cooked at the same time; the crust was crunchy and greasy gooey. The onion rings and jalapeño poppers were fried okay, but I was also expecting homemade ranch --nope. Food is great. The unique style of crust and flavors are wonderful. The atmosphere is great too. There is a small arcade for children and a nice secluded area in the corner for large gatherings. Unfortunately the service is horrible. Not the personalities per se but the sense of urgency is considerably lacking. An online order should not take over an hour and a half to be ready. Order was promised between 7:15 p.m. 7:30 p.m. I am sitting here writing this review at 8:10 p.m. as I'm still waiting for my order. At first they told me 12 minutes. I gave them 15. Came back and they told me 6 minutes. I gave them 15 more minutes. Went to the counter and both pizzas were done but breadsticks were still not done. I'm positive that they didn't even start my order until after I came in to pick it up. As I sat there waiting I watched a gentlemen order at the counter, leave the store and came back 18 mins later with his order ready. I asked the employee behind the counter how that is possible when I've been waiting over an hour. He tried to tell me that he had a phone order. I told him that I heard him order his meal, pay, walked out and returned with his order ready. The employee just apologized and didn't really seem to care about my experience. First off I want to say that their chicken strips are bomb! Those are a must try! And I think their ranch is house made or a higher end brand so it's delicious as well. Now let's get into some other items. Their pizza reminds me a lot of Round Table's original. I do wish they have a thicker option. I like thick crust and my husband likes it thinner, so it would be nice if both of us can get exactly what we want each time. The toppings are nice on the meat lover's pizza, but everything could be a little more flavorful. If you're Italian like me, do not get their Margarita Pizza or their calzone. There was no ricotta on the calzone, which is like.....super important. There was so much melted shredded cheese on it that the box was soaked in oil. I'm okay with a greasy pizza (OBVI!!), but this was a little overkill. My husband was burping up oil for a long time...so just avoid the calzone all together! The margarita pizza just had shredded mozzarella cheese, diced tomatoes, basil, and lots of garlic. I prefer the sliced mozz...so that was different. Also, garlic doesn't belong on that type of pizza. I ordered garlic on my other item so they may have thought they were "hookin me up" but it just didn't work. Also - I think their garlic they use is the minced garlic from that jar that everybody gets at Costco, WHICH IS FINE FOR A HOME COOK... Other than that, I have had only good experiences with the customer service and every other food item I've ordered here. I will be back for more eventually. I completed my order for a XL pizza online through Menufy at 6:45 PM. I followed up with a call at 7:00 asking if they had received my order, and they said that they had and it should be ready in a few minutes. So, I headed to the spot and the girl who had answered the phone said there had been a mistake, and that my order was just now going in the oven. I was confused as to how that had happened, but whatever, I shrugged and headed home. I waited at the house for 25 minutes or so and then I called as I was heading out the door to see if it was close to ready. I waited on hold for most of the drive back to Stonefire, but when I finally got someone back on the phone, I was told my order had been made a size too small so it would be another ten minutes or so. I waited for ten minutes in the car and then headed in. After several minutes of waiting in the store, I was told by someone (a manager?) my "your pizza hasn't gone in the oven, my brother says to give you a refund." Well, by this point it was 8:00 and I had a kid who was already up past her bedtime. I exchanged some terse words with the manager and left, wholly let down and disappointed, and still very hungry. We needed a late night joint after a long drive and ran into Stone Fire Pizza. The pictures in this Yelp review are spot on which inspired my order of a large Stonefire Combo and Hawaiian. It's got good flavor and great crust, a little something for both my boyfriend and I to enjoy. Pizza tasted good cold from the refrigerator the next day, and the day after we ended up going back for more. This time we went with a large Pepperoni pizza, which the reheated leftovers of it hit the spot! I could have lived without the dinner salad (lots of cheese, not a lot of lettuce and a super small portion), and was totally bummed that they didn't have delivery in Clearlake. Other than that, pretty good pizza and the boyfriend raves about it. Can't say much about dining in, but definitely can give them props for our pick up orders. The order taker nailed the spelling of my name and they were willing to take phone orders 15 minutes before they closed. We took the family here tonight looking for a decent pizza place. Upon entering the restaurant we noticed a strange smell. It was hard to place not sure if it was from the food from sewer or from cigarettes outside but somewhat off-putting. We decided to order a couple pizzas. We got an extra large cheese and sausage and a medium cheese and pepperoni. Overall the restaurant was fairly clean, although the booth next to us had not yet been bussed, and our booth, while appearing clean at first, turned out to need some cleaning. The busboy was very friendly though and washed it up very quickly for us although he forgot to dry it. The food arrived fairly quickly, and the staff was extremely friendly. I was a little surprised they did not offer free refills on all sizes of fountain drinks, but they did offer a refill on the large. When the pizza arrived, it was placed on the table with no means of serving it other than to use your hands. Normally this might be OK, but they used pizza risers and generally when a restaurant uses pizza risers you expect them to have a pizza server as well. The pizza itself was somewhat less than average. It was extremely cheesy which normally is fine, but there was simply no flavor at all, at least not to the sausage. I decided to try some of the pepperoni as well just in case there was an issue with the sausage pizza alone. That was not the case, the pepperoni pizza it was also rather bland. All six of us agreed that the pizza was fairly flavorless although it did have a nice crust and had a lot of cheese. The sauce was not very flavorful nor was the meet. Still, overall the place was ok. The people are very friendly. The prices were not outrageous and we did eat most of the pizza. We might even consider coming back again in the future, but hopefully they will do something to the recipe to improve the taste. read more

It is clean, well lit, and actually feels like a nice place to be not like a thrown out movie set. The pizza is excellent. While not artisan, it is very good; and it has always been CONSISTENT, which I think goes a long way anywhere. Great beers on tap, great games on the TVs, Touchtunes Jukebox, friendly staff, OK prices but the rest makes up for it.
