Burgers were fresh and good, even if they skimped on the onions. Fries were a little old, but not awful. The soda fountain was out of almost everything, which sucks when you don't drink soda and it's all they have. Lobby was clean, and well maintained. Had to ask for lids for our drinks. Staff was friendly even if a little standoffish. And our meal was immediately put into to go bags. Never asked if it was for here or to go. Just assumed it was to go. read more

Staff was nice! Cruising through the area for a road trip and had not had Jack in the box for a long time... Stopped in and ordered something I was super excited about. The brunch fest item of chicken bacon egg and cheese sandwich on English muffin... However when I got my food it was the chicken club sandwich...in other words no English muffin and no egg ...it was on a bun and had ranch. No big deal I guess... however I think I got someone else's order... I informed the nice lady that took my order (Nancy) whom should be commended for doing a great job. We stopped by Jack-in-the-Box and ordered some food through drive-through first of all. It looks like it was closed all the lights were out and it was only 8 o'clock then. When we ask one of the workers he acted like he did not want to serve us like they was hiding at work, so we finally got it ordered and when we finally got the food, there was hardly no sauce on the tacos. Food is typical, but this place needs help. The longest wait times in the drive thru. Idk if it's worker shortage or poor management, but something needs to change. They also need to start picking up trash around their restaurant. After Sitting at the driver's speaker for quite some while with no response Angela yelled are you in there. I had to make a trip from St. Louis to Rolla and back in one day...that's four hours in the car, and I was crabby. I was also hungry, so I pulled into the Drive-Thru at Jack-in-the-Box in Cuba. I expected a run-of-the-mill Jack-in-the-Box - nothing special. However, when I pulled up to the speaker, I was greated in such a fun and positive way by "Motorcycle Mike" who asked how he could be of service. He continued to be very upbeat, helpful and funny during the entire transaction. What could have been just a dull pull-off to an already long trip turned into a positive experience (at a drive-thru!), and put a smile on my face for miles to come! read more

Small Jack in the Box that is understaffed or staffed with employees that don't care. It took a while to get our order taken and I got a clear view of the kitchen with dirty floors. I should have left then but we were in a hurry and had already waited to order. Our food came in a to go bag even though we asked for here...apparently they ran out of liners for their trays. I always look forward to stopping at Jack in the Box in Cuba on my way from Springfield to St. Louis. This is the only one remotely close to the Springfield area. The last two times I have stopped here I was so disappointed. The food was good but the service and the cleanliness of the restaurant took away from the food. I felt like I wanted to scarf down my food and get out of there. There were flies buzzing around the tables and overflowing trash cans. None of the tables had been wiped down and the glass doors had greasy smears and handprints all over them. The staff acted like I was bothering them. If you love Jack in the Box.... skip the dine in option and go through the drive through in Cuba.. otherwise just keep on driving by. **Given 2 stars just for the food. I always stop at this Jack in the Box on my way to or from St. Louis. The staff at this restaurant is very friendly and enthusiastic. They always greet me with such a positive attitude in the drive thru and they are always fast. They get me back on the highway in record time and I always appreciate that! When I got to the window she was so cheerful, and it really impressed me. Her name is Hannah and on my way back I made a point when I stopped to let the Manager know. If I could give zero stars I would. Absolutely filthy. Every trash can was overflowing, trash on all of the tables, employees coughing over all of the food, and the floors were sticky. Made you feel like you needed a shower after being in there. Last but not least, the food was disgusting. Tasted like a frozen patty heated up in a microwave and slapped on a bun. We went there yesterday after getting back to our we noticed we were short fries we called them the lady basically calledvmy wife andciva luer we did not get the food we paid for the lady we spoke to instead of just give us what they cheated us out of called us liers saying she her self put it in there these $3 worth of fries just them our byss permanently we like the food but this isnt the first time we pay for large fries 3 different times we get back to our room they give us small packages with about 5 fries in each one they have now stained their reputation with us we spent $150 a week there for iur family but as of friday the 6th of September they have lost our buss ivwouldnt reccommend anyone to eat there so jack in the box you could of and should of made this right for us but you choosed to call this Christian family liers bad mistake on your part i hope the $3 fries you shorted us. Always good..do you want extra sauce, never a problem.and for the most part food is hot..one time we went there and they got so swamped...they closed the dining room for a half a hour so they could clean it up drive through was kept open...
