Holy moly, this place shocked me! It gives any Mexican restaurant a run for their money. The food is super fresh and very fast. The line was long, but we got through in no time. Wow! A couple weeks after moving nearby, we discovered Taco Loco. To say we were impressed would be an understatement. My husband is constantly searching for authentic mexican food in MO, and this checked off every box for him! We've been probably 5 times this month and the quality is consistently good and the food is always fresh. During the dinner rush there can be a long line, but it moves very quickly and you're never waiting for too long! Bottom line: we would recommend it to anyone! In a small but growing city with like five other Mexican restaurants, this place is a standout. The variety of proteins and salsas briefly gave me decision paralysis so I just got the quesabirria which are birria tacos with cheese browned and melted on the outside of the corn tortillas. They were unbelievably tasty especially with red onions, cilantro, and lime. I could replace my blood with the consumè it came, honestly, and I don't generally even like beef. I went with a burnt tomatillo salsa that was really spicy and had a great smoky, tangy flavor. The chips were crunchy and fresh, if a bit greasy, but I can forgive that with such fresh salsas. I'm excited to try the other protein and salsa options in the future. The beans were a bit bland BUT the rice was super tangy and they were excellent together and were nice after all the spicy. After months of driving by the "coming soon" sign, the Taco Loco in Foristell opened up. I went on the second day that they were open for lunch and was delighted. First, they did a great job fixing up the building and making it feel new and nice inside! It is a great quick service layout, but if they do good business, it might get crowded, it's perfectly fine, but plan accordingly. The food was excellent! I got a burrito with the Al Pastor and charo beans. Both were excellently seasoned and cooked. My wife got a bowl with half carnitas and half chicken. The carnitas was her favorite and I agree based on the sample I had. It was all much better than the big burrito chains! There were so many options for salsas and toppings that you could keep going back and get something different every time. I'm looking forward to many visits! read more

We've been here 6 times so far. Pretty good and fast Mexican food with lots of choices, for instance: There are 2 tortilla options for the Quesadillas, as well as 2 grilled veggie options for any entree or sandwich of which you'd like to put them, multiple cheeses, at least 5 different salsas not including Pico de Gallo and Queso Blanco and 2 kinds of beans and rice. When I say 2 grilled veggie options, I mean, there is the typical grilled peppers and onions and then there's another with chunks of zucchini, peppers, squash etc. as well as red sweet peppers and onions. The tacos can be carnitas, beef, pollo or Birria, soft or hard corn or flour tortillas. they have Tortas of chicken beef or pork and will put any attention to detail that you like. I occasionally get this and ask them to toast the bread first, they spread it with mayo and toast, then make the sandwich with almost a whole avocado, Queso Fresco, onion, shredded lettuce, tomato and jalapeno (meat of your choice too). So good. The owners always want to make sure that you get it just as you want it. Service here is very friendly and customer oriented. Drinks include: Soft Drinks, Aguas Frescas, Beer and Margaritas. They have real silverware for dining in but also offer plastic for take away. Just tell them to save their money and use your own at home. The decor is friendly but when you walk in, you don't expect it to be as big as it is so don't worry. Plenty of room. Parking lot is shared as it is part of a strip mall.
