There seems to be a lot of bad reviews for this location so I wanted to say I had GREAT service yesterday, 3/3/26. I placed an order with the app and drove thru to pick up about 2:30. The gentleman that helped us was super friendly and helpful; even said he noticed I hadn't added sauces to my order & asked if we needed any. I really appreciate that kind of service, actually paying attention & caring about the customers. Im not typically the one to complain or go out of the way to write a review. But the Festus Jack in the Box location has the laziest work ethic. From getting the orders incorrect to take 20 mins for food to get done when there is 0 cars in the drive thru. not to mention the slight non friendly staff. read more

I ordered a monster taco and the dude in the box said they don't sell those no more. UNBELIEVABLE, they sell small tacos and regular sized tacos but not monster tacos. I guess I won't eat here EVER again. Also I have hemorrhoids and the tacos make it worse. read more

Drive through order #143. Employee, Syberg has no manners. Not a hello, thank you or kma. I have a lot of choices when it comes to fast food. Maybe this isn't a good one. Also they seem to change their hours at will. If they're going to be a 24 hour location, they shouldn't close at 10. They have "this weeks hours" taped over the broken screen where you should be able to look and check your order. read more

If I could give less than one star I would. It is now 9:52pm on a Friday, I was able to drive from the store to my house, put my daughter in bed and write this review BEFORE they close, however, at 9:40 when I went through the drive thru, I was turned away and told they were closed (20 mins early). All I wanted was a bag of churros and I would have been on my way, but no one even let me order before they shut me down and turned me away. And while I can understand how irritating it is to get customers right before closing time, I worked at Burger King for 5 years and you don't turn away customers before closing time just because you want to close early. I would have gotten written up for that. Oh well. I wouldn't even have complained if this exact thing hadn't happened at the same store to me twice, once? Okay. Maybe short staffed, maybe it's been a long day... no. Twice? Thats lazy. And I know there were other cars behind me that got turned away as well. Have gone to this location 3 times. First 2 times they couldn't get a simple cheese, bacon, and ketchup order right on a burger and the 3rd time told me it'd be a 25 minute wait until I got my food because they had 1 car in the drive thru ahead of me. Worst ran establishment I've ever been to. read more

I've been to this drive through many times after work and every time something is wrong. I always get curly fries and tenders sometimes I add tacos. Either the tacos are stale the fries are stale and under filled or I get cold and less tenders then I paid for and I almost never get the sauce I ask for. soo my order was a burger with curly fries (with honey mustard) and one egg roll.. i did NOT receive any curly fries but did receive the honey mustard how does that make sense? burger was cold and egg roll wasn't even in a wrapper- just thrown in the bag... . never again... it's sad when you love a fast food place so much but this location never satisfies you. this is the second time!! read more

Awful experiences. Food is usually late, cold, and messed up. Orders we've made have rarely been correct and the most recent time is most definitely the last time. It took a full hour for us to get our meal. They forgot our ticket and apologized, saying they would bring it out soon. 30 minutes later we got our order. Nothing else. No extras for horrible service, nothing to redeem that awful experience. We're definitely done here. read more

As mentioned before every review I post, I try to give a balanced point of view, that way regardless of the final vote, I try and keep a positive vibe throughout the entire review, with that stated, lets get started: I started going to this jack in the box location because of the service I was receiving at another location a few miles away from this one. I am a frequent visitor to the late night drive thru window, and pretty much get my favorite sandwich almost every time. the quality of the food at the previous location was falling off the down side of the choice meter, and I needed to find another location for my jack needs. The first few visits were great, service was fast and friendly, food was delivered hot and delicious as it should be. however it seems as though the saying that all good things must come to an end is true, and within a matter of a few weeks, the headaches started at the drive thru... First off, this is FAST FOOD, meaning you order, and pretty much if the place is run correctly, by the time you make your way to the drive thru window, your food should be ready, and you should be on your way immediately. This is most definitely not the case with this location. 4 visits in a week time, took approximately 20 minutes for food delivery, this is most definitely not acceptable at ANY fast food restaurant. couple that with the lack of apology from the staff for your wait, and the delivery of cold sandwiches 20-25 minutes later and you get bad service, and there's no other way to look at it. after 3 visits, I went to social media and twitter to express my aggravation and lack of satisfaction achieved at the drive thru, i was contacted back by Jack in the box, and they would "look into the situation" however since that tweet, I have had at least 3 more visits of long waits at the drive thru. unfortunately, I'm not a patient person, and I have decided to find another place for my late night cravings, which is a shame. however just like at the ball game, 3 strikes you're out.. hopefully things get improved with the late night service at these 2 locations, because unfortunately, it will be a while before I return... read more

I was hungry, saw Jack in the Box and thought that would be good since I live an hour away from one. I asked for the Sourdough Jack with NO ONIONS. Well Lo and Behold, it is full of onions. The burger was dry. There is no way I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more

Jack-N-the Box -Festus What a terrible experience and a waste of $30. I hardly know where to begin. I placed my order st about 1:40 pm on Sunday, August 21. When I pulled up to the window to pay I did not receive receipt. I figured it would be in the bag, but no! I asked for my receipt but the didn't know how to pull up the order, so no receipt. I waited the better part of 25 minutes for the food to come out. Two of the three orders were wrong. I ordered a jumbo jack with cheese but got a jr. Jumbo jack with cheese. None of the food was hot. I would think that after waiting for 25 minutes the food would have come hot off the grill. When I ordered the breakfast platter they didn't communicate that they were out of syrup. I asked for all bacon cooked crispy on the platter and got bacon and sausage with the bacon grossly undercooked. The coffee was old and barely warm. When they told me at the window that they were out of syrup, I asked for jelly. When the order arrived, no jelly. Of the things I requested they were out of stuffed jalapeno poppers, syrup and butter. I should have gone back in and asked for a refund but we were supposed others and were already 30 minutes late due to waiting so long for our food. I will never patronize this Jack-n-the Box again and I suggest you don't waste your money there either. read more

Not sure what has happened but the service here for a fast food establishment has gone to an absolute snails pace. Waited 4 minutes just to have our order taken while the fella running the front line is running around like a chicken with his head cut off. I felt sorry for the guy because he is trying. As mentioned in other reviews, this is fast food you have to wait for. Took almost 15 minutes for our order when dining in. They weren't very busy either. Menu was lacking some items from out west. Still, you could do worse. read more

We drove through on Christmas day at about noon and there was a line wrapped around the building. I expected the worst, but I got the very best in service. The line moved like it was supposed to and the service was excellent. The young man who waited on me knew how to count change and was well spoken. The food was cooked perfectly. I used to work at a Jack in the Box back in the 70s, and good service was expected and always given by me and my team. Today I've come to expect very bad service from almost all fast food establishments. People working there just don't care anymore, but this place was different. I commend them.
