If you find yourself on Main Street in Festus, Missouri, do yourself a favor and hit up Brick Bistro and Brew. It's an adorable café with exposed brick and plenty of charm. They've got the usual suspects: pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, salads, everything you want when pretending to eat healthy while actually chasing cheese and carbs. I ordered the black bean burger and threw a fried egg on top because I'm a serious foodie. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is cozy, the drinks are solid, and the vibe is rustic Pinterest.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Yum! I had the breakfast quesadilla and bottomless mimosas with mixed Oj and Cranberry. The food did not disappoint! Service was friendly and [[HIGHLIGHT]]it's an absolutely adorable establishment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We popped in based on other yelp reviews and we were not disappointed!

Stopped here for lunch before a football game. I went a little off script and got the jalapeño popper burger. The burger is made up of things that don't seem like they should go together: jalapeños, jam, bacon, cream cheese and a burger patty. IT WAS AWESOME! A little spicy, a little sweet, a little creamy, a little crunchy. So yummy! So good, in fact, that I took a picture of it! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is clean, neat, but small.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was super friendly and very fast. It definitely warrants another visit! I'm glad we stopped in.

I had some time to hang out as I was waiting for an event to end. I stopped into the Brick Bistro for a bite to eat and a glass of wine. Hung out at the window bar table. The service was very good, timely and friendly. My salad was great and loaded with lots of avocado, chicken, olives, and cheese. The dressing was lightly and nice as it tied all the flavors together. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute decor, cozy, and nicely lit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I thought their kids menu was cute and funny.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We have this local place a try. The atmosphere was great, very small seating area and bar. They were busy based on their footprint. Parking is street parking and I believe behind the building has some too. My drink was great told him to pick, so no idea what it was called but we did their loaded nachos (so so so so good) and Big Banai( think I got that right). The pizza was ok, nothing to write home about. But we will definitely go back.

They have plenty of parking for a restaurant that stays pretty full. I normally try to stay on a gluten free first but time to time I like to deviate and this was worth it , the food was good and very reasonably priced. The service was good even though they were busy.

    Basket of fries. So crispy!

I had a delicious double cheeseburger and basket of fries. This is a great little spot. The service was friendly, but the food was the star! I was hoping for a big, juicy burger and that's exactly what I got! The fries were so crisp and unique. With a drink, the total came to $16. I thought it was well worth the price.

What really stood out to me was the service we received! I really appreciated not being rushed through our meal. The fact that they actually let you order your courses separately so they're not coming out on top of each other was refreshing. And even though it was a Friday night and there were others waiting to get in we weren't rushed to pay our bill but instead invited to take our time. We hadn't seen or heard much about their pizzas, but we were in the mood for one and decided to order the meat pizza. It was made in a brick oven and it was really tasty. Honestly there were so many toppings that we ended up asking for an extra cup of the marinara sauce to dip it in. The sauce is made in house, it was delicious and the waitress said it's the same one that's used with the spaghetti and meatballs. In regard to the pizza size even though they're considered personal pizzas it was definitely bigger than we were anticipating. I would say they're close to 11 to 12 inches in diameter. My husband and I each enjoyed two pieces with our salad and took the other half home with us. They are definitely big enough to share, especially if you're ordering an appetizer or a salad to go with it. Our group very much enjoyed the artichoke spinach dip. It came with bread that had been cooked in their brick oven and I love that the spinach was in bigger pieces. My husband, and I also shared the harvest salad which had butternut squash on it, candied pecans & goat cheese. It was really yummy. Others in our group enjoyed the salmon and the crispy chicken sandwich. I had recently seen on a local Jefferson County page that many people consider Twisted Tavern the best place for a good piece of cake specifically, their wedding cake . Truth is that was the primary reason why I suggested this restaurant to meet our friends at but sadly by the time we finished our meal and were ready to order dessert they had already sold out. We were told this does not usually happen. Overall, we found tasty fresh food made in house, great service and fair prices. I am already planning another visit to the Twisted Tavern (so I can try their wedding cake! ).

Those are some great prices. Our first bartender was Danielle and she made me an excellent Extra Dry Vodka Martini with a Twist. We easily could have shared one and still had leftovers. My second classic cocktail was a, Old Fashioned. Being a fan of classic cocktails, I enjoy Happy Hours that offer them at reduced prices. Again, Danielle prepared a masterfully made cocktail. Danielle was very personable. My friend and I enjoyed chatting with her. Around 4 PM there was a shift change and we got me meet the next bartenders coming on duty. Sam and Kim didn't make us any drinks, but they were fun to banter with while we finished our cocktails. I thought the set up of the Social Club was cool. You've the bar in the center. Then the pizza and burger offerings each have their own kitchens. Also, beware that the restroom is not gender specific. It's one large room with separate stalls that have doors and walls that go floor to ceiling. You'll never know who's next door or what they're doing. I'll be back when the weather gets cooler to enjoy their large patio.
