Anchored by thinly-sliced, well-seasoned strips of pork, the dish is complemented by generous, delicioso helpings of arroz (rice), frijoles fritos (refried beans), and ensalada (salad) ... Every bite and spoonful was Heaven! Safe to say that adobada is one of the reasons why taquerias tend to be better than their chain counterparts i.e. Gringo's." I'm happy to report that the adobada plate still amazes me. I was stuffed halfway working through it. The waitstaff were all very friendly and stayed on top of refills of coffee/tea. I ordered migas which I have always loved. Sticky Shrimp: I don't even know how to describe this, but it was delicious. I thought it as more like bang bang shrimp, but it was more fried that I expected. But not hardcore fried - they almost had the airy texture of fried pork skins, but were much tastier. Chili marinated Cucumbers and corn ribs: Simple, refreshing and addicting. But I liked the cucumbers a bit more. They also had some fresh juices and we enjoyed both the mango and the coconut lime concoctions.
