The service was slow, yes, but they were extremely nice and did have multiple prefaces regarding the wait time. The only I had food wise was that the candied sweet potatoes were a little too sweet for me (and trust me, I love myself some candied sweet potatoes) and I feel like the okra or another one of the sides would've been a better fit for me. The chicken I had was extremely tender and juicy, and the gravy had the perfect amount of sweet and salty where I just gobbled it down with everything. The vibe is nice and homey and overall this place was just great. It for sure isn't someplace you can rush through in 30 minutes, but that kinda adds to the experience that you get the minute you walk in.

For the premium prices they charge, the overall experience was a massive disappointment. To start, the food is vastly overpriced for both the quality and the portion sizes. We paid $45 for a dish that consisted of exactly three scallops and a small side of risotto. Another dish we ordered was completely bland, lacking any salt or depth of flavor. To make matters worse, our meal was ruined by a swarm of flies. When we asked the staff if they had a fly fan or any way to help mitigate the issue, we were simply told they didn't have anything. If a restaurant is going to charge high-end prices, they need to provide a high-end experience--or at the very least, basic pest control and seasoned food. We absolutely do not recommend this place. Save your money and go somewhere that actually delivers on value and quality.

I was only asked once if I was needing anything else, and since she didn't ask about my full cup of tea, I wasn't going to say anything. When she came over to the table she asked if I needed anything, I stated No, I am done. She asked if I wanted my check, and I paid my tab. They do advertise Bloody Mary's and other breakfast cocktails but I didn't have any of those. The location is good, area outside for the kids to run and play. Seating outside also to watch the kids. I think I would only return to this place if I am invited out to brunch with my group of friends. Otherwise, would be a long while before I return, being hopeful things have improved.
