you can never go wrong with the chorizo , the guy was super cool. sadly they only took cash so my friend had to pay for everyone that was getting one with our group... fun walk up truck , by the big store- nice seating outside available.

I have been to this little taco trailer many times while visiting the peninsula. Time to show this little jewel some love. Located next door to the Big Store, you will find Tacos Rositas. A little white trailer that is nothing fancy to look at, but has some dang good tacos. Do not judge a book by its cover. This place is legit. Step right on up and get these tacos in your belly. My review is solely on their breakfast tacos. Their lunch menu looks delicious too, but, I'm usually on the beach all day and do not get a chance to partake. My favorite is the bacon egg and cheese taco, as well as your basic bean and cheese. When I am feeling frisky, I will splash on a little of the tasty, but spicy, green sauce. You will get a choice of flour or corn tortilla, both of which are delicious. Tasty ingredients on good quality tortillas. These are legit tacos, and the folks inside are friendly, and fast. Service is great, and the food even better. I highly recommend this little taco trailer. Be sure and bring cash, as cards are not accepted. This taco trailer is always a must when I visit Bolivar. Please stop in. You will thank me later. Enjoy.

So good! If you're looking for an above average taco, this is your spot! A little gem when we needed one:) grilled tortillas, great flavors y salsas thank you tacos rositas:))

Taco Rositas has a nice outdoor seating area with covered patio and picnic tables.

We had delicious breakfast tacos and bottled Mexican Coke! This place has great food, friendly service and is located next to the Big Store in Crystal Beach.

I loved the fried green tomatoes with a sauce that almost tasted like chuy's ranch, but it came with a creamy bacon that was good and reminded me of potato soup. My "top shelf" margarita was only $2 more but came with an extra shot. The boudin balls were amazing flavor, nice & moist cooked perfectly. I ordered the fish basket with 5 pieces of fish and bought enough home to have it for lunch out of the air fryer the next day. Husband had the ahi tuna & said it was wonderful flavor. We arrived hungry & left happy with enough lunch for the next day. Great find and will eat again! Joy, was our awesome server to be sure to request her for the best service you could ask for!

We found out when he brought the check. Tartar sauce was almost pure sour cream. We asked for different one. When I opened container it was obvious it was already used. We ordered beignets. They resembled dinner rolls and came hard and half frozen. Manager not very friendly about our concerns but adjusted the fish and blamed the server. The same manager was close by because he took very good care of his family at the table next to ours. Won't be back.

Great flavor in the boil and not too much nitro dusting. Great deal at $30 for 5 lbs. My wife and I each ordered one. Along with a burger for my kids tab came to $85 which I think is reasonable as including all soft drinks and tip it came to $100 total. This included the two crawfish place as well as the cheeseburger my daughter had (this one doesn't like crawfish). Place is packed on weekend evenings, but a great place to sneak into during the early afternoon. If we are back on the peninsula we are definitely coming here if it's crawfish season. Staff super nice and she filled all of our glasses multiple times between tea, water, soda and was great about clearing the table promptly as well. Worth a stop!

Nice surprise. After finding out that another Hispanic owned taco truck was closed (ICE raid?…read moreSelf-deported?) I went to Hughstons after reading Yelp reviews. I ordered 4 breakfast tacos, bacon, egg and cheese on flour. Most tacos You get Need heavy seasoning After you have picked them up but these All we're spot on with saltiness. The salsa was tomato forward which I like on a bt. The women inside who helped me with my TOGO order were polite and quick. The place is definitely filled with locals who like to fish early in the morning. The interior was very nice, plenty of seating in large tables. You cannot go wrong as I was looking at other plates coming out and everything was absolutely delicious. I was looking over their lunch and dinner menu In the thought of a blackened redfish po-boy for $16 sounded freaking delicious.

We arrived at 11:30 and were told it would be an hour wait for food due to a backlog of call in orders. They had 2 tables of 4 each inside - so call ins were overwhelming them. They ended up closing to walk ins not long after we got there so they could catch up. That was a good decision. Like I said, I think sometimes it takes a bit of time running a restaurant to get staffing and kitchen capacity balanced out. Anyway, food was excellent. Most of our table did breakfast (idk what the sausage brand is but everyone raved about it) and my SIL both ordered a BLT and split a side order of sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious. Wait staff was excellent and working hard. We'd definitely come back for breakfast all day!
