We went to this drive through a few ago and had the weirdest negative experience. The young girl at the window was super rude and acted like we were an inconvenience just being there. We couldn't hear the person taking the orders and when my husband asked her to repeat it she got all huffy. They ended up getting our order right and the food was decent but the customer service was Terrible. There was another girl working that came to window to help us with sauce and she was nice. It was almost like she was apologizing for the other girls rudeness. Today we were at Starbucks and saw a mess at that Jack in Box (across from the Legends). My husband said you can tell management just doesn't care about this store. The windows were gross, the parking lot was a hot mess and they had mop buckets out. We will never go back. read more

Terrible visit at 10:45 at night set in the drive through for 20 minutes to get to order my food. When i got there the guy told me i would have to wait another 20 minutes to order because they was backed up on door dash orders. so 30 minutes in all and i got no food because i left. My friend and I pulled into Legends Outlets to play Pokémon Go in the area on a Wednesday October 2022 evening. It was about 7pm & it was dark. True story. We ended up hitting up the McDonalds for food before my KS friend dropped me back in Overland Park for the night. With luck would have it, the staff at the nearby McDonald's said they were not taking any counter orders that evening, which was super duper odd. I remembered that I saw Jack in the Box on the way into Legends Outlets parking lot area and we decided to pull into there for dinner. When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade and sometimes you add some alcohol to make it a good one. And so, we did just that and ordered from my Jack in the Box app that night. The experience here at Jack in the Box was short and sweet. I spent 5 minutes inputting my order into the app and paid for it. We drove around the Legends Outlets shopping mall parking areas just to kill time for the Jack order to be ready and headed back to pick it up. To be honest, I was a little shocked at the McDonald's not taking in walk in counter orders. My guess is that they're short staffed too, like how it was when I had to pick up my mobile order the previous day in Overland Park Jack in the Box thru the drive thru window without a car. Stranger things have happened but it is what it is. For the most part though, I ended up getting my friend dinner too on the Jack in the Box app because she helped me with transportation services for the evening. We ended up getting $20 worth of food without tax. The overall experience here at this Jack in the Box location next to the Legends Outlets in Kansas City, MO was pretty good, although still disappointed at the McDonald's, as mentioned above. Still a silver lining, to be honest. We ended up getting everything at the drive thru, which was nice. The service was good and friendly and most importantly, quick. All we did was drive up and say, Mobile order pick up, and that was it. We waited about a minute for them to sort out our order and we got it. We asked for extra bag so we could have our own orders before my KS friend and I parted ways for the evening. The mobile ordering thing really revolutionized the industry especially when e-commerce took off in the late 2000's and still is the backbone of the economy when it comes to food service and many restaurants. Definitely recommend that and Jack in the Box, especially because I love curly fries as much as the regular ones. If you are in the area and craving some of the Aforementioned curly fries or anything that Jack in the Box offers, consider swinging by here and order up some. They be glad to have you. Definitely recommend also to get the mobile app. Sign up for good deals and their loyalty program is awesome too. If this business is going to be closed during normal business hours, they need to post a sign on their door to explain that to customers. I came at 11 AM and although the door says the drive-through is open there is a chair and a wet floor sign positioned in front of the drive-through so the vehicles are not able to enter. I happened to be headed to a furniture store and stumbled across a Jack in the Box. Hailing from the east coast, I've never seen one of these places and decided to give it a try. I ordered the blue cheese, ribeye burger and the gal got the spicy chicken sandwich (so basic of her). We both nibbles off each other's and split an order of the curly fries which are always my favorite. The staff is what impressed me the most, everyone was extremely polite and helpful. Let me start with saying disappointed is an understatement. Being from Chicago any time a Jack in the Box is in the area it is a must stop as soon as the trip begins. While on our way to Lawrence,KS we saw that there was one directly on the way and of course had to stop for tacos. Upon arrival there was no one greeting in the drive through so we went to the window. Much to our surprise the window was locked and were then greeted by a gentleman not in work attire/uniform who informed us that at 2pm he was now just opening and it would be atleast an hour so we left. I've eaten at Jack in the Box from Seattle to Tennessee and this one in Kansas City is the worst by far. 20 minute wait in drive through to even order. Lobby closed early evening even though signs posted at door said it should be open.
