Love this place for Tacos and Tamales. And has a really clean public restroom. Everyone is friendly and food vs price is good in value. I always get 3-4 random tacos just to try different filings. Never disappoints.

Cute grocery store with a sit down eating area. We came here this past weekend and stopped to grab food. My husband and I enjoyed some tacos. I had one asada and two tripa. My husband ended up ordered more. They were pretty good. The salsa was spicy and delicious. You order and you sit down. The people working there were friendly. Highly recommend to try if you are in Kansas City.

The environment , the employees, the food. I don't even know where to start. I work about 10 minutes from here and me and a couple of the guys from work Stop in 1-3 times a week. You can't get better tacos from a better group of people- they have hands down the best taco spot in the state. Show my people some love and treat yourself- you won't regret it.

Finally stopped by after hearing nothing but positives about it! I mean... your girl loves a taco, but getting over to the KS side delayed me. I'm so disappointed in myself for not making the drive sooner! I decided to try a assortment of tacos! Asada, Pastor, Barbacoa, Carnitas, and Chorizo. Honestly, they were all delicious. HOWEVER, the Pastor took the win for sure. The marinate on the pork is truly there! You can taste that it is seasoned well, which makes the simplicity of a street taco so delicious. I was in a hurry, so I wasn't able to scoop out the actual market and all they had in the building. From my time I can see it is def a poppin place for a extremely dead street at around 9pm on a Thursday. I can't wait to go back, sit there and enjoy a meal!

@bonito_michoacan_ great experience and food. We really like the tongue and lamb tacos, but really all were great. The red salsa is spicy and flavorful and the 2 green aren't spicy but full of salsa goodness. We got there at 5 and the line was long. Staff was great and took their time with every customer.

This used to be my favorite spot for tacos, it's changed. Ordered Tripitas tacos & barbacoa, the tripas were extremely burnt extra crispy if you like them that way, the Barbacoa tacos were plain no flavor! Two stars for good service.

The REAL DEAL people! You know it's going be good when you order in English and the employee struggles to understand you. I really really wish I knew Spanish! Anyone have tips on how they learned Spanish? Anyway, back to the food. The street tacos were some of the best I've had in the area. The meat comes folded in two tasty corn tortillas and are filled to the brim with meat. You can add onion and cilantro (a must in my opinion), and they have a variety of sauces. I contemplated giving this place 4/5 because their meat selection was running low, but that was my fault, not theirs. I came in later in the evening. I view this as a sign that they have a lot of customers and that I'm onto something good. If you want a better selection I'd recommend coming earlier in the day. We got there around 7:30-8pm. Don't worry, I'm coming back for you barbacoa! The restaurant is located in a shopping market, so it's likely that you'll catch a whiff of the butchers meat in the back. It wasn't a pleasant smell, to say the least. All this adds to my satisfaction because it's what I imagine walking into if I were to get the same thing in South America. Was I worried about montezuma's revenge? Absolutely. Luckily it didn't come for me! Was it worth it even if it did? Yep. I'll be back.

I've eaten there for years, but one of my recent stops made me realize it's more than just the food. Please read on.... An immigrant showed me friendship in food, even though I was a stranger. The place was packed and the only open table was where the workers sit. I was by myself, but one of the restaurant workers came up with her lunch and gestured to me if she could sit at the table. I smiled and said "Si." I noticed she was eating birria tacos with consomme and it looked delicious. She saw me and laughed, said something in Spanish which I think translated into "Would you like some birria and consomme?" I nodded yes and she went back to the kitchen and returned with a small container. You can tell from the video the broth was rich, the birria was tender and fatty (but in the best way)! I tried to convey to her it was great and thank you. She asked me something in Spanish and I could only respond in a gringo "Que'?" I finally used Google Translate and she was asking if I worked nearby. I was dressed in my blue collar clothes! I used the App to tell her I drove in from my part of town and she smiled and laughed. I think she understood how much I loved eating at Don Antonios, because I would drive at least 25 minutes to eat there. If she only knew I'm there every week! This experience reinforced what I already knew. Immigrants are kind and caring people. Just like my grandparents when they arrived in America before WWII. I also know what my family and I have experienced when you don't look like the majority.... Just my two cents and a tip of the hat to an immigrant who showed me friendship in food, even though I was a stranger.

It gave an option for dining with a group of people or simply dining alone. We arrived around 1pm on a week day, so just after the lunch rush which was perfect. The food was made fresh, I've always wanted to try the barria taco but no one seems to offer anything but a beef option. And finally, I found a chicken one. It was Delish !! Now I couldn't dip in the au just because it was beef but I appreciate having the option. The Mexican rice was light and flavorful. The queso was good however it stiffened up pretty quickly, just in case you feel the anxiety of choosing between. Your appetizer and the main costs course. Over all, a great experience for a late afternoon lunch. Check out it when your craving tacos, I don't think you'll be disappointment.
