i used to go to this jack in the box all the time to get food, i stopped recently because the lack in service and quality was becoming an everytime thing. long wait times and cold food. i came across these videos on tiktok and i believe it is one of the girls who work there. i didn't know this place was drama filled and allowed employees to talk crap about their customers and other employees while clearly still on shift. when i order food from a fast food i expect it to be out fast not waiting 30+ minutes while i clearly see the same girl standing on her phone in the back, i believe her name is kaylee as stated in these videos. in the caption of one of her videos she is making it clear that her coworkers bf cheated with a guy indicating there's something wrong with being gay.? clearly the focus isn't on getting the food out fast, it's going to the bathroom and making videos about your coworkers, makes sense why the service would be slow. read more

Bad from beginning to end. Ended up leaving my food, because it took 30 minutes to get it wrong twice. I was patient for the first 15 minutes, but it got really annoying after that. Don't have an hour for this nonsense, so I had to leave, without food, and without getting a refund. Got a $15 Coke tho. Seemed to take five crew members for each order of fries, to make sure they went in the right place. Unfortunately, I had lots of time to watch the chaos while waiting for my food. I went through drive thru a couple of mornings ago & employee came on speaker, garbled because he was chewing food. Then he burped. Then he said "Are you going to order"? This employees family failed to teach him manners, and the owner of this take out failed to train emplyees in basic customer courtesy. I am a DoorDash and I was there. The girl in charge who was running the counter and the drive-through was very rude in her tone to me and told me to go sit down and wait, or at least that is what I think she said because the music was so loud I couldn't hear. She slammed the two orders on the counter, and then when I couldn't read the name on the bag, she was rude to me again. She said it's on the receipt as well and walked away . 11:20 AM Sunday, 5 July there were six cars in drive thru....we Spent an hour in the drive thru that I wish I could erase from my life - an hour - so unbelievable . Had to repeat order 5 times to person on speaker . Spent 45 min in line to get to window the. 15 min at the window waiting on food. Truck in front of us drove off in frustration , man behind us yelling f bombs he was so frustrated . They told us the one girl had only been there one day and the other worker one week . I come here A LOT, and just wanted to update my review, because my previous one is just a slight bit more negative, than I'm currently feeling about the place right now! I'll be referring to all times of the day, as I go at most all of the different times of the day, lol! The store has improved TREMENDOUSLY over the years, even if it may still not be perfect for some people. Or, at least, not consistent. The service is way better now, and also way more consistently good. The wait time's have improved DRASTICALLY, as it's usually not that long of a wait, at any time, for anything, anymore! The only major problems that I can see anymore, are the occasional problems with the menu window/audio box. Sometimes, the screen is out of order, or sometimes, they say that the microphone or speaker isn't working! (Just specifically for the menu screen box right in front of the menu. Not the worker's personal head set speaker, that they wear on the inside. In case you were wondering, which you probably weren't. Lol! Neither this, or the next thing that I'm going to mention, are frequent, and especially if you're out of town, you probably won't get it. It's just good to mention, to prepare you for it, in case you do get it!) Sometimes, the shake machine is "out of order", or whatever they say. (This has also happened at the Burger King that's not too far from it, a few times. I'm not sure if I've mentioned it in that review, lol!) The food is also still fantastic, as always! (Not just because I personally love it, but I just do genuinely think that it's very well made. At all of the Jack in the Box's that I've tried, not just this one!) It's also right by a Motel 6, that sometimes seems to have some bad people there. (There's never been a problem, I'm just warning you that you might see something that looks a bit shady going on, or around there, especially if you go at night, especially way later in the night!) I think that that's it, lol! I come here a lot, and at worst, get decent service, with a little bit of a wait time! (I actually had a slightly different version of this part, but lost it because, I forgot to check my battery life, lol! I guess that I was sitting here, writing reviews for way too long, lol! Only 3 people ordered inside. Why the long wait?? Cashier just approached. They sent our order out through the drive thru. I was on my way to Seattle for meetings and left my house in Portland at about 7:00 am. I got to Kelso at about 8:30 and needed a bathroom break. I figured I would stop at the Jack In the Box because it was right off the freeway do my business and grab a sandwich. As I pulled around the restaurant I saw 1 car in the drive through. I walked in the restaurant smelled like urine. That should have been my first clue. That lady behind the counter said, "We'll be with you in a minute sir." That was the last contact I had with anyone. I waited 10 or so minutes took my bathroom break and left. read more

So... This is my regular breakfast stop between Portland and Seattle/Tacoma and it is a reliably good fast food breakfast. But... Today I decided to eat my breakfast in the dining area and so many small problems... To start you walk up to the main door and it is broken with a sign directing you to another door, hmm... broken long enough for them to block it off and print a sign. Next after ordering I head to the men's room and... the urinal is out of order, blocked with another sign. Move to the stall to find a dirtier than average toilet. Next no soap in the dispenser... they're having a hard time here. Get my food and a cup for water, and... the water comes out light orange/brown... ugh. Turns out the Coke machine uses a shared dispense nozzle and hadn't been cleaned. The worker bee cleaned the nozzle and the water was nice and clear as it should be. In summation most of these are small facility maintenance issues and hopefully not reflective of the food or staff. I'll be back and if things are better I will adjust this rating accordingly. UPDATE 9/28/2018... Most of the problems observed during my previous visit have been repaired or rectified... except one... the urinal in the Men's room look to still be out of order with the same sign as before. Could this really be out of order for nine months? Or maybe it just breaks down a lot... so odd. read more

I have never reviewed a fast food place before, but felt compelled after stopping at this Jack in the Box. The customer service was awesome here!! We thought it was great that each person got their own basket with what we each ordered. In the middle of eating, a manager stopped by to make sure that we were satisfied with everything and thanked us for stopping in. read more

This place is consistent in food quality and service. The only thing that bothers me is that you have to ask for Katsup or hot sauce whenever you get things to go. These employees should be made aware of the repercussions of their actions as this experience will be made known to all that will listen. My wife and I had tried Jack in the Box only one time in our lives. That was about a year ago, and that was near Forest Grove, Oregon. We decided Jack's were nothing special and would not choose Jack's again. Until a couple days ago (Jan 2, 2013). We were with our teen and adult children, passing through Kelso, Washington, and had to stop for fuel and food. The kids spoke more for Jack in the Box than for other fastfood restaurants, so we went in. Hey, Jack's can be good! The people were pleasant, even looking for ways to make your mealtime good. The food variety was great, and what we ordered was BIG and good besides! The counters, tables, floors and bathrooms were all, yes, all clean and pleasant. And the staff was quick to get around throughout the store to keep it clean. We're open to going back to Jack in the Box, especially in Kelso, Washington! read more

Poor service. Counter girl acted like she hates her job so you're not going to get the service you deserved here. Food was greasy and quality went down hill. Girl working has very long acrylic fake nails enough to claw you! Working in the food service required short clean nails to avoid any kind of food contamination... obviously this store has poor sanitation and bad food. I stopped there last night because it was next to the motel where I was staying. It was about 7p.m., and busy, but not terribly. I asked that they make sure my hamburger was well done (or they make me sick) and that they not put salt on my fries. This does not seem terribly difficult...however, I waited almost 20 minutes for my order. They said they were sorry it took so long and offered me coupons. I no sooner sat down to eat my food when I discovered it was all cold and the grease had soaked into the containers. I had ordered the exact same meal from a Jack In The Box in Idaho the day before and it was great. I don't know, maybe everyone at this restaurant was too high to be working there. They weren't too busy to be giving out free drinks to their friends as I stood there waiting. Guess I will avoid Jack In the Box from now on. read more
