It was my first time at Taco time and surely will not be the last. It hit the spot the way fast food was, but felt higher quality / more real than your typical fast food. Clean interior, and everyone there was so nice, too. The cashier recommended the veggie soft taco which was a vulnerable recommendation but 1000% on the money, it was SO good and i never would've thought to get it myself. We for 4 things, ranked from most to least fave were 1. veggie soft taco - nice crunch from sunflower seeds, plenty of good cabbage etc veg, refried beans and sour cream for that familiar comfy taste to round it all out 2. crispy burrito (beef) - a nice hint of spiciness, crispy but also bouncy wrap. a little small but good 3. baja fish taco - this felt pretty high qual ngl, if you've had a decent fish taco you have an idea what this will taste like 4. hard taco - a classic, no surprises read more

The food itself is fine. The problem lies in that they forget your food routinely. The owner is aware and has refunded me in the past, but it's a pain to deal with. Just tonight they left out multiple food items from my order in the drive through. I'm now currently sitting in the drive through again trying to get what I paid for (I.e. two tacos). So good! Reminds me a bit of Naugles of southern California from back in the day. Scrumptious white chicken chili - subtle spice and large chunks of chicken. Crunchy tacos were stuffed full of taco meat, cheese, and fresh lettuce with a slice of tomato. Tater tots were crispy and hot with a great flavor. This is one of the best Taco Time locations in Washington/Oregon. The service/staff is always good and friendly. The food has always been good. The restaurant is kept clean. Even the drive thru is fast and efficient. The meats are the best and their sauce is better than most locations. I don't know if they order different meats & sauce or if it's just the way they prepare them but I don't generally even like Taco Time food but I love this one! Our favs are the chicken soft tacos and the crisp rolled tacos. They have the awesome fountain machine that gives all the flavor options to add to the classics. Wow! Looks freshly remodeled and the nicest, by far, Taco Time I've ever ate in. Staff was very friendly and we were served immediately. Food was fresh and my taco salad was served on a real plate! I included a picture of my salad. Pleasantly surprised! This may sound weird but the women's restroom was the nicest fast food restroom I've ever had the pleasure of using. Their fish tacos are fresh with creamy sauce and yummy, so are their crisp bean burritos & mexi fries also known as tater tots.

Purchased some food here for an early dinner, thru the Drive thru. Wanted to dine in at this restaurant but since we are crunch with time, we decide to get our food to go. Both Hubs and I opt for 2 Taco, 1 BBQ Beef, and 2 Quesadilla. I cant recall what kind of Taco we had. Hubs and I like what we had. The portions are huge for my taste bud. Went in for lunch on 8/7 with my family. We love Mexican food and it was close to our gym. Ambiance looked cool so thought we would give you guys a try. Order came up immediately , however , my food wasn't served with my families' food. I waited about 5 minutes , and realized they had forgotten my Bean & Cheese Burrito. I went up to the counter and asked the employee about my food and it was fixed right away. Once we finally got to all eat together , we realized the burger we ordered had mayonnaise on it after requesting "dry" because my step son is so picky , again they remade the burger in a timely manner , but looking around the restaurant, you guys were completely "dead" inside. You had an employee , I'm assuming your manager walking through to check on tables , so why didn't we get checked on? I understand you guys are counter service , but , all of this could've been avoided if we were checked on. I'm a restaurant manager , and the MOD missed a "table touch" with my family. It's a 3-Star place w/ 4-Star prices. I initially rated a 2 after this visit, but the issue is more the employees and consistency. When the adults classic beef burrito has half the meat of the child's burrito, something got lost in translation back there (I vaguely remember ordering the beef, but I guess I do need more lettuce in my diet ‍). This was my first visit to any Taco Time. Rather disappointed. I ordered just a beef soft burrito. The first bite was all rice and sour cream. Resisting the gag reflex, I spit it out and tore off the first half of the burrito. The second half was all "beef", though there was a clump of what tasted like unmixed chili powder in the midst of it all. I continue to be amazed how people fail to fold a burrito correctly (or even decently). After this experience, I think I'd rather go to Taco Bell (and I've avoided that for the past couple of years). For the price of this 7-8 oz burrito ($7!) I should have gone to a decent sit-down Mexican restaurant - it would have been a far better value. As for the service, it was exactly the same friendliness as every other fast food place in the country. Drive thru took longer than expected. OMG. Taco Time... Why aren't you EVERYWHERE?? I have never seen a Taco Time in Cali, and we needed a bite on the go, soooo why not? Figured it would be like a tex mex Taco Bell, by their old school logo with a cactus. I was semi right... But it was BETTA!! It was actually fresh, and delish! I didn't get a heavy bloated feeling, I normally get after TB. Their veggie 'taco' that was rolled like a burrito, and as big as a burrito, was served on a whole wheat tortilla. This taco time is clean, efficient, has above average customer service (as far as fast food goes) and tasty food as well. I travel between Portland and Seattle fairly regularly and I always make this taco time a pitstop. There is usually not much of a line and I rarely have to wait long for my food. Regarding the other reviewers who have marked this restaurant down for prices, perhaps they haven't been to many other taco times. Taco time on average is more expensive than other fast food restaurants and always has been. I think people have just gotten used to ordering from a dollar menu and automatically look for a low price before they look for quality. Furthermore this taco time is part of the northwest chain of taco times that pays extra attention to using fresh and local food (supporting usually rural communities not unlike Kelso), which drives up the price. This Northwest chain also pays attention to using compostable materials or materials that are quick to break down, which means less garbage going down the street (according to Google maps an 11 minute drive) to the county landfill, another thing that locals should appreciate but apparently don't. So to recap... fresh and locally sourced food prepared quickly will usually cost more than McDonald's (big surprise) and this taco time is above average compared to others I have been to. read more

Expensive and Bland. Hands down some of the worst food I have had in a while. I tried the most popular item recommended by fellow yelpers and was very disappointed. Soft Bean burrito and soft meat burrito. Nothing fancy. It was 18.00!!!!! (At Taco Bell for same exact order it would be 6 bucks tops.). 18 bucks!! Can you imagine!! Something isn't right here. I stopped at this Taco Time in BFE after driving all the way to Battle Grounds to pick up my puppy. Very nice location, and really clean. It had outdoor seating, which was awesome to sit and let my dog out! The cashier that I had was very nice and made genuine conversation about me - they even had no problem giving me a few bowls to give my dog water/food on the way home in. I ordered a crispy meat taco meal tonight. When I returned home to eat my dinner I was extremely disappointed. The tacos were barely filled with cheese and beef.
