Three family members ordered a Double bacon, Smashburger! Regretfully it only had two measly slices of bacon and neither of those were completely whole pieces ! Losing a star! The burger meat patty was very surprisingly above average And there were two of them. I ordered it without sauces : The one that came with was OK BUT their barbecue sauce was a bit tangier and better. Perhaps I'm used to the "western bacon cheeseburger" from another place. Furthermore, our cashier was the lead manager, and he was way cool. - a really nice guy! We are too special needs family members there today, and he showed respect, and patience, handling them perfectly! Additionally, The Restaurant was clean. I'm beginning to think that this is my favorite Jack-in-the-Box location that's local to us. (out of the four I frequent ). Also liking the fact that there's still a self-serve soda machine. (it was nice getting a variation of sodas being able to test them, a few of them were flat) Going back to the burger - Oddly enough, if there was a more generous portion of bacon, this would have perhaps been five stars ! - Cost wise, it's a $10 burger, not sure why fast food are going up so much price-wise. Please note I did switch out the sauces, by ordering it without any sauce, and then getting a sample of the " good good sauce" and the barbecue sauce, and much preferred the barbecue. You may want to do the same! (I'm starting to be repetitive... sorry) Side note: the Smashburger is thicker and takes longer for the hamburger patty to cook, but it's still frozen burger. - regretfully. But I didn't wanna wait in line at a place that would be unfrozen and take a lot longer time and more chaotic. - I do miss, and wondered if I should've asked for tomato and lettuce like a location that does serve fresh meat, oh, I also was craving their cheese jalapeños! I'm seriously pissed. Every single time I take an order home from this place, something is missing. Today it was a Jr. Chicken Sandwich ($2.59). I even asked the employee TWICE if everything was in the bag. The first time she said yes, then stopped and said, "Wait, one more item," so I figured she caught it. A few minutes later I asked again, "Are you sure everything's in there?" She said, "Yes, it's all there." I drive 6 miles home, open the bag... and guess what? No Jr. Chicken Sandwich. They charged me for it, but never put it in the bag. They literally kept the item I paid for. This customer service is absolute garbage. If I pay for something and you don't give it to me, that's basically stealing. No wonder this place has 2.1 stars on Yelp. I'm never coming back. I want my $2.59 back. I came in at around evening and the place wasn't busy at all, so I didn't have to wait. David at the front counter was very helpful when I came in and offered me a cup-carrier while my food was preparing. And he was very friendly as I was walking out. Thank you. I ordered the Ultimate Cheeseburger Combo with Seasoned Curly Fries, Oreo Shake and Chocolate Overload Cake. The cake and ice cream worked well together for me and the cheeseburger was nice and juicy in the middle. The curly fries were also pretty good but there were so many I couldn't finish them all, but I'm not complaining. Overall I rate my first time at this Jack In The Box location a 4/5. read more

The last few visits were not great, and today was the exact same issues. Terrible service. No hello, no thanks, no acknowledgement when we walked in at 10a on a Sunday. "Jose L" waited on us, and needs to be retrained. He doesn't smile, barely speaks, acts like we are bothering him by being there. Food was fine. Store floor was dirty, women's bathroom a huge mess and floor was flooded. Dirty tables, no one except for us were even eating inside. Worst part is the workers blast very loudly Hispanic music in the lobby. So loud I couldn't even hear my husband and speak to me from across the little table. It's like they are purposely trying to make it not desirable for people to want to enjoy a meal inside. I just don't understand. Time to drive a couple miles further to a different location. When reviewing fast food chains, I feel like the food is pretty much the same everywhere, so I usually highlight the service. I stopped by after trying their Nashville Mozzarella sticks and ordered some this time around. There were a couple more people in front of me and the wait took a bit longer than usual. I got to the window after ordering the 6 pack of the mozzarella sticks. I paid and then drove off, considering that I overheard the workers talking amongst each other confirming that they ackaged the 6 pieces for me instead of 4. Upon opening the box, I did only find 4 pieces. I was in a rush to run my next errand, so decided to give the restaurant a call to maybe just get a refund for the price difference or just have my name put down for a next visit. I called several times and it just seemed like a disconnected number. I could not get through, so I had to drive all the way back to let them know. When I got to the speaker, they already knew they forgot my sticks, so just told me to drive to the window. I don't expect much from fast food places, but at least having a phone that works would have been helpful! read more

I had just finished my shopping at Home Depot and wanted to grab a quick bite to take home, and noticed the Jack in the Box in the same center, which I've never tried before. (I normally go to a different branch.) I pulled up to the drive-thru to order to get two tacos and a value curly fries. My order was taken without being given a total, which was fine. I pulled forward since there was already one car ahead of me. I waited about 6 minutes until I was able to pull up to the drive-thru window where I waited another 6 minutes for someone to open the window to me. A woman barely muttered my total as I handed her my credit card. I got my card back, but waited another 6 minutes until the window opened up again and I was handed my take-out bag with not a single word. I thanked her anyways while being handed the bag, looked inside and saw that my three items were there then just drove off. The food was so-so, and not what I was expecting for the amount of time that I had waited. I would definitely skip this branch if ever you're in the area and choose something else unless you're wanting to be disappointed with bad customer service and food. No thank you. read more

This location pays little attention to walk ins. I work nearby and don't drive so I go inside. Almost every time it takes almost 10 minutes for a simple shake. I have 30 minutes for lunch and a lot of it is taken up because I can't get service. I'm not going in here any longer and it's too bad since their shakes are pretty good but I believe in good customer service and they usually don't provide it. Why am I reviewing this Jack in the Box? Because this Jack in the Box is something real special. Back home in SJ, going to Jack in the Box is like asking for trouble. Not the place you really want to hang out either day or night. Here, this Jack in the Box is in a great location near the Home Depot, and while it could get more crowded, I've never had a difficult drive thru experience compared to say In-N-Out or Chick-Fil-A. My only complaint is that it isn't open later but maybe that's what keeps this from being a place you don't want to hang around. Get your Jack in the Box fill without having any concern over your safety! TIP: Late night munchies after 9PM are always the move. read more

Ordered a caramel sweet cream iced coffee via the mobile app. Let them know and when I pulled up to the window the guy just yelled a random total to me. After I told him I was there for the mobile order, he then proceeded to make it on the spot (what's the point of ordering ahead?????). He then said something that I heard as "regular iced coffee" and I wanted to confirm that it was the caramel, not the the regular. After annoyingly saying it was, he slammed the window but now before saying "oh my God" in an annoyed tone. Guess what? Coffee wasn't caramel, it was the regular one. The Jack in the Box further up next to the Home Depot is way better IMO and actually has the food ready when I order on the app. read more

Awful service. The manager, Fernando, was incredibly rude. I tried to order a Minute Maid sugar free fruit punch in the drive through, he argued with me that they don't have sugar free fruit punch. I went into the restaurant, to see for myself that they did have it then went to the counter to order. Fernando proceeded to make some snotty comment about have what I was looking for. I pointed out to him that they do in fact have sugar free fruit punch. I also explained to him that it's very important for a diabetic like me to make sure their drink has minimal, if any sugar. They had a younger guy working the drive thru who was super friendly & the food was always hot, fresh & delicious. I complimented him on their surveys a few times, he was that good! Fast forward to today & there is some middle-aged Hispanic woman working there who looks & acts like she hates her job! She is always rude & short when taking your order, & the food quality is disgusting! She forgot my drink & I had to ask for condiments tonight, & she acted like I was lying about ordering the drink! On a mobile order! At 10:30pm! Then I get home to eat my sandwich & find a single piece of nasty, wilted, slimy lettuce in my Chicken Fajita Pita along with some gross looking tomato & what I assume is a piece of onion? Today around 7:00 pm I went through the drive-thru at this location and was EXTREMELY disappointed with the customer service and food that I received. Once I placed my partial order, the female employee cut me off. I looked at my order on the screen and noticed it was incorrect. I kept saying "Hello... I'm not done... the order is wrong." No answer. After 3 attempts of being ignored, I drove up behind another car. When I got to the window, she mumbled a total and I asked her to repeat my order. It was wrong. I corrected my order and she gave me a "mad dog" look. After she took my payment, she closed the window and said something to another female employee, who turned and looked at me. They started laughing hysterically. It took about 7-9 minutes to get my food. During that time, the rude employee kept pacing and disappeared out of view with my bag of partial food a few times. When I got home, my burger was extremely soggy and falling apart. I got sick to my stomach thinking the very unhappy, rude female employee had done something to my burger. This was the first time this has occurred to me at this location. I have been a regular customer for over 10 years. This rude, angry heavyweight Hispanic employee needs to be talked to. The Bonus Burger for people in the know is a legendary part of JITB history - and their offering it periodically is something worth waiting for. It used to be a big, cheesy, juicy burger with their legendary yet infamous "secret sauce". I picked up the burger - it was absolutely dry as a bone. Sauce and cheese not centered. Meat was cremated. The bun was dry and lifeless and the lettuce was an insult. How about you cooks put some pride in your work? Why is that so hard? I used to work fast food and loved it.
