I was in the area shopping and decided to stop by Jack in the Box for lunch! This location is at the corner of Cheyenne and N. Rampart Blvd. There are plenty of parking spaces available. I ordered my usual which is the [2] Classic Jack in the Box Wraps. It usually comes with one chicken strip, lettuce, shredded cheddar, and pickles. I opt out of the sauces in the wrap. The wraps were delicious! No sauce was added to the wraps! Service was quick here! I didn't wait longer than 5 minutes for the meal! The team was friendly and helpful while I was placing my order. First time coming this location, just got off from work the other day so I called the wifey up so she could meet me and we could catch up and vent about our day so far. I was stuck in the drive thru for 27 mins , and when I asked the hours of holiday operations he said 24 hours. A lot of bread though considering the size of the burger and the tacos are well as expected, it's a burger place selling tacos so expect that. Last year this location had issues with staffing where they couldn't keep their dining room open, which caused issues for me. They've fixed all that and the staff is actually very very good. My elderly mother comes here pretty often and they are always friendly to her and get our orders right 100% of the time and the food is always piping hot fresh. This visit here has been the worse Jack-in-the-Box visit EVER!!! I waited in line for 10 minutes before anyone ever took my order. No one was in front of me. Then they have no coke! So I drive a hot car and I didn't want to go home to an empty house...I got lost of course...and saw a Taco Bell about a half hour before but couldn't find it again...so I drove WAY WAY WAY out of my way to where I am familiar with...my old neighborhood. Today wasn't the best day...I was feeling really lonely and down and SINGLE. I went to Taco Bell, but I didn't get a drink because I wanted an iced caramel coffee from Jack in the Box. It's not the closest to where I live...but familiar. After tonight I will continue to drive out of my way. I pulled up at 12:27 am and the employee working informed me the fryer was out. I told him all I wanted was a drink and not to worry about the fryer. When I pulled up to the window he told me, I was so nice. You never know what kind of day someone is having and just a few simple words can make someone's whole day. We had a little conversation and his disposition about a busted fryer was still sunny and cheerful and he kept his sense of humor about the situation. He didn't seem inconvenienced or irritated. I wish I had tipped him or asked him his name so I could give him a shout out. The drink was great, but the service is why I am giving five stars. My last experience here was pretty poor. I waited over five minutes for a single sandwich inside at the counter and left without my sandwich because I needed to go to work. I thought it's just a biscuit sandwich with at least five people working how long can it take...but this experience tonight restored my faith in this location and I will drive here...WAY WAY out of my way from now on. read more

My first job in high school was working the cash register at Jack in the Box. My girlfriend Diane worked there too so imagine Lucy and Ethel at the chocolate factory. I can say that Diane did get a burger thrown at her only once because it had sauce on it and they asked for NO SAUCE. Glad I wasn't working the window that night! Despite my fond memories and many funny stories about working the drive-thru window I can say after all these years I still keep coming back and the memories continue. I know it sounds crazy but when I first met my husband we joked about how we both love Jack in the Box tacos. I was like "really"? Not too many people want to admit that, most guys are too busy trying to impress their dates with gourmet finds or that perfect Fois Gras they found in Paris. I had to go in the drive thru line again to get my order corrected and when I pulled up the lady just gave me my card back and said "have a good day", I repeated to her twice that "this isn't my order" she goes "it's free food! Have a good day!", I repeated one last time that "this isn't what I ordered", so then the manager comes and asks what's wrong and I told her that this isn't any of the food I ordered so she took the food back and gave me my correct order but when I received it it's cold and my milkshake is all melted the moment I receive it! Considering you don't usually have expectations when going through a drive through , I was pleasantly surprised tonight. The man working the drive through had a friendly demeanor and great sense of humor. I had never tried the jalapeño poppers and thought I'd give it a go. Normally one doesn't go into detail of describing how they are they just simply take your order. He described how spicy they were and when I pulled up to the window even suggested a sauce for them he liked. Once I got home and tried with the creamy avocado sauce he suggested I was amazed when I tasted it. I was more amazed by how friendly, and interactive this employee was. I can honestly say I didn't expect much at all and with my experience it definitely exceeded my expectations. I left smiling and in a great mood.
