I had such an amazing experience at The Taco Stand! The food is fresh, authentic, full of flavor, and you can genuinely taste the quality and care that goes into it. The flavor is honestly UNBEATABLE. I highly recommend the shrimp & steak fries and the shrimp & steak tacos you seriously cannot go wrong with either one. Everything was seasoned perfectly and packed with flavor. And the churros?! Those are made with LOVE! Fresh, warm, and the perfect way to finish the meal. I also have to recognize the amazing staff. Ada, the manager, was wonderful, Yessi, my cashier, was so friendly and welcoming, and Zita, the cook, absolutely did her thing! The food AND the customer service were exceptional. When you have authentic, delicious food and a team that genuinely makes you feel welcomed, it makes you want to come back. Thank you Ada, Yessi, and Zita for such a great experience. 10/10 I'll definitely be back!

I'm a bit sad that this place is a bit further off the strip but I knew I had to come here if time permitted while in Las Vegas because I go to the San Diego location each time I'm there! I've tried their meat based tacos but I prefer the Shrimp & Baja tacos here! It would be nice if they had trays to help bring ~~Parking: There's a shared lot where it appears this place is located at the bottom of a complex with a couple of other spots. Parking seemed a bit packed but there were still spots available, though I Ubered over from the strip. ~~Best Part: The Salsa bar! I like how they have many different types of salsas to choose from along with jalapenos & red onions. ~~Return: Yes

    MAR Y TIERRA FRIES

We did a take out order for dinner. We ordered the bean and cheese burrito, carne Asada burrito, Baja taco, al Pastor taco, carne Asada taco and their Mar Y Tierra fries. Hands down the fries were delicious! It came with shrimp and steak with some guacamole and chipotle sauce. It did get soggy quick because of all the sauce and toppings, but it was still so good! All the tacos were yummy! However, the carne asada and Al pastor were a bit chewy. The fish in the Baja taco was cooked to perfection. The carne asada burrito was okay. Again the meat was kind of tough. My daughter enjoyed her bean and cheese burrito. It was huge! She definitely had a lot left over. Great spot if you are craving tacos!

Love this place! Absolutely delicious from carne asada burrito, to carne asada fries but mostly the churros!! Hands down best churros ever. Carne Asada fries have great seasons on the fries and can be eaten without any added items from the salsa bar!! Carne Asada Burrito a bit messy towards the end as things fall apart. LOVE the salsa bar! The Mild Avocado is good, and the Chipotle salsa with a smokiness is good too!! Service a bit slow but not due to laziness, just very busy place and very small kitchen cooking area. Tortillas are made fresh in-house.

After having missed out on trying the nopal at one of their San Diego locations because they ran out, decided to come here and get one. This was delicious, just what I expected and the sauce bar is what I love about this place!

This place was worth the hype. For a reasonable price you get a fairly large taco. The Baja taco was my favorite. Even when hungry, two tacos will do it. The condiment bar is also excellent. Will definitely return.

TLDR: It doesn't matter which branch you go to. Taco stand always delivers, and I've never hated a meal here. MAR Y TIERRA BURRITO - It's still the lightest burrito that provides the most size. I can't say enough good things about the aioli that they use to add flavor profiles to the shredded vegetables used to add body to the burrito. The steak and shrimp used here were good as usual, and the cheese added in is always a welcome surprise. Pescado Taco - The grilled fish taco is one of their better tacos. It's a meaty fish bite, and you get the "signature" slaw + avocado slice. Baja Taco - Most of their tacos are given the sauce + slaw combo along with the protein. I feel that the baja improves in my taco ranking depending on how much fish I get per taco. The batter is amazing and it's really a question if you want to eat fried fish or not. Camaron Taco - Crunchy shrimp, and very good slaw. But I feel that the shrimp is best paired with the steak, thankfully, they have a mar y tierra taco, which I think is the better thing to order. Ambiance: It's one of their bigger branches, so finding a table isn't difficult. Everything else inside the store is stock standard to all the branches I've been to. Service: You order, pay, and they call your name to pick up your food. Straightforward.

The Taco Stand in Chinatown is definitely worth a visit if you're craving great tacos. The carne asada and al pastor were both outstanding. The meat was flavorful, tender, and packed into fresh tortillas. Don't skip either of them. The restaurant also has some really cool artwork inside that gives the place a fun, vibrant atmosphere. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Las Vegas.

Taco spot under an apartment complex with decent parking. It was my first time trying it as I was craving street tacos and yes they are street tacos, therefore, I don't see a reason for 1 taco to cost over $4. Ordered a couple different ones: chicken which was dry and needed sauce and there was no flavor, fish which the fish tasted nice and was lightly breaded, however, there was just a tiny amount of sauce on the top, pastor which also was dry and felt like the pineapples were counted before putting it on, lastly, mushroom which was the only one that was flavorful and had a decent amount. I also requested extra sauce, onions, cilantro and lime on the side which was not there. The staff looked like they were over it and weren't all that welcoming. And the ordered was placed online for pickup but was not ready when I got there. It was Friday afternoon so I get there was kind of a lunch rush but that should be expected I feel. Overall was not impressed by the food or the lack of service.

Can't believe I have done a review for this spot yet! I've been a handful of times. Every time we visit Vegas it's our first stop. Food is always fresh and delicious. They also have a full salad bar with a handful of options from mild to habanero. The decor makes you feel as if you're eating in Mexico. Carne Asada is top notch. Pictured is the shrimp and pastor taco. The asada taco didn't make the photo lol

We were so hungry after a concert and happened to see this spot on our way back home. Thank goodness we stopped because the tacos here really hit the spot after a few drinks. My friends ordered the Carne Asada Fries and I got the Al Pastor Tacos. The restaurant is surprisingly big inside with a lot of tables. Hardly waited at all for food as the service was really fast.

If you are craving cheap Mexican food, this is the place. Had an Al Pastor burrito with rice and beans on the side. It was good. I'd still give the nod to Sergs but since the had an actual salsa bar, it's a winnah! I heard it's best to go on off hours cause it gets packed. We had no problem as we went just before 11am. The Pico de gallo was good,as were the rest of the salsas. Surprisingly the habanero wasn't very burner.

We have been going to Taco Stand a lot recently. The original location was founded in San Diego in 2013 by two guys from Tijuana. There are locations in Southern California, Florida, and Texas, We like how easy it is to get good food fast here. Parking at this location is ample. There's usually not a line when we go and the staff is always friendly. You order at the counter and then seat yourself. Sometimes it takes a little while to get your food, but that's fine because it's made fresh. My favorite items are the carne asada tacos, as well as the camaron (shrimp) tacos and elote. They also offer burritos, quesadillas, carne asada fries, and churros. There is a self-serve salsa bar that offers varying spice levels, from mild to extra spicy. The restaurant isn't fancy and I like that, too. This is just a great place to get some tasty tacos.

They have a Loteria drinking game, with each card matching a drink on the menu. Fun idea, but when explained seemed confusing. The drink was ok, too sweet for me and a little small for the price. Menu highlights for me was The dirty corn, salsa flight, and my (2) taco plate. The dirty corn was a standout with elote-style corn in a bowl, topped with chicharron, chorizo, and spicy mayo. It delivers that street corn flavor, but with a good mix of textures and spice. My tacos were delicious. I tried one grilled shrimp taco and one carnitas taco, served with rice and beans. The blue corn tortillas were a nice touch and pillowy soft! The carnitas were amazing, great flavor and super tender. I shrimp tacos were just as good and when topped with their habanero, verde, and roja salsa, that heat and flavor depth gets elevated! Every food item on the Happy Hour menu is $12, which makes it a great way to try a variety of dishes without spending a fortune in Vegas. We ordered the shrimp tacos, CHICA nachos, Firecracker Wings, quesa-birria empanadas, potato flautas, shrimp ceviche, and ahi tuna bites. Everything was absolutely delicious, and there honestly wasn't a bad dish in the bunch. One thing to keep in mind is that these truly are small plates. Don't expect a lot of food with each $12 dish. They're perfect for ordering several different things and sharing, but if you're really hungry, you'll definitely want to order multiple plates. The Firecracker Wings had a really nice kick to them. We loved the spice, but if you have a lower spice tolerance, be careful with those! Also, a heads-up about the shrimp ceviche: CHICA's version is more tomato-based rather than the bright, lime-forward ceviche you might be expecting. It was still really good, but if you don't like tomato-based ceviche, that's definitely something to know before ordering. For drinks, we tried the CHICA-Rita, Palomita, and Tommy's Margarita. They were running a 2-for-1 drink special for $21 total, which was such a great deal, especially for Vegas. Between the absolutely delicious food, fun atmosphere, and Happy Hour pricing, we really enjoyed CHICA.
