This used to be our favorite Jack in the Box. But lately every time we've come in and ordered tacos they've been horrible. I had already talked with a corporate representative about this a few weeks ago and nothing has changed. They were still cold, greasy, and not enough lettuce on them. Seeing as this is the closest fast food to my apartment, I have frequented it many times. Like other Jack in the Box restaurants I visited, this one stays open 24-hours for those who appreciate the variety in time. The food is OK since it is fast food and seems to be greasier than most, but the service is quick and the prices are low. The restaurant works for me when needing food at 1 AM. read more

Most of the time this Jack in the box is decent in terms of quality of food. but it never has been for customer service and today was probably the worst. my sister and I went through the drive thru and waited about 2 minutes before anyone even apologized and asked us to wait for another minute or so. when they finally asked for our order - which was a large Oreo shake and two medium curly fries - the person taking our order kept mixing up the quantity and size of the fries and shake. and it was twice as difficult, as they did not speak clearly enough for us to hear what they were saying and confused us in the process. we got to the window to pay, and we received 2 large Oreo shakes and 1 medium fry - which weren't even the curly fries. it took about another minute for the employees to realize we were still waiting to talk to them. my sister said "I'm sorry, we ordered 1 large shake and 2 medium curly fries". a second lady approached the window and said "well, that's why we asked you to look at the order before you came up to this window" in an extremely annoyed and aggravating tone. at that point my sister and I were very upset and just drove ahead. it was incredibly frustrating, as neither person we interacted with offered to fix or remake our order, and we were made to feel like it was our fault for the whole thing. we have both worked in hospitality and/or customer service, so I can understand how awful it can be to deal with customers. but I sincerely believe my sister and I did our best to be kind and understanding, and we were willing to sort out the situation. it just made us very angry that the employees didn't even attempt to correct their errors. the cherry on top was the fact that when we got home, I took a sip of my shake and got a lovely little piece of plastic that had - from what I can tell - had been chipped off the lid of the shake and obviously received no attention before being served due to lack of care for quality. plastic-Oreo shake 10/10 read more

This was our first time in the area to visit family and we decided to stop here for breakfast on our way out. Thank goodness we don't live close to this place and we don't ever have to come here again. They got our entire order wrong. We ordered a sausage croissant and a chicken breakfast sandwich and ended up with a bacon croissant and a bacon biscuit. the coworkers and i were allured by the new "pita snack" and stopped by here for lunch today. it sucked. spend your money on regular tacos instead. on the scale of all jack in the boxes i've ever visited (there have been MANY), it's clean, it's fairly fast, AND THE DRIVE THRU WINDOWS AREN'T MADE OF BULLETPROOF GLASS. srsly, what more can you expect? Now days everyone is in such a hurry and expects everything quick . I can't believe how many negative reviews this location has . I had a late night nanny shift that ended about 1:30am this morning so I was thrilled to know Jack was open! It's definitely a great location because it was busy! I'm used to workers showing the stress on their face for having to run around a lot but the lady that helped me was super sweet and nice. We've been to this Jack in the Box a handful of times, maybe 3?, over the course of a year. Neither visit had been particularly noteworthy except for today's. We ordered the smoked brisket burger, not expecting a high-end restaurant-quality burger, but just to try something different. The photo of it on the menu made it look interesting and tasty; I mean, how can you go wrong with brisket supposedly smoked for 9 hours?!! Boy, were we sadly mistaken!! We used the drive-thru to place our order and the cashier at the window told us to park, because it would take a few minutes to make the burger. Well, we did so without fuss. Again, 9 hour brisket... tasty, and worth the wait, right? Wrong. When we opened the box, the burger looked like it was *made* 9 hours ago. Dried out, shriveled and just... icky-looking. My husband, who happens to be a Marine (you know they eat *anything*!) didn't even want to eat it. I believe his expression was "Yuck." Never again, Jack in the Box. Never again. Placed two lunch orders @ half-past noon today, both filled quickly and with HOT, tasty food - one of which was the food truck series Prime Rib Cheese Steak Sandwich... YUM !!! This was my first time trying it, and it really is a lip-smacking good treat! I suppose it's a limited-time offering, so I'll probably not be able to resist getting another one tomorrow! The ratio of fast-food to good-food places in Marina is shameful. But if you have to dance with the devil, pick Jack in the Box. Better than McDonald's and Burger King, faster than the Pizza Hut/Taco Bell place, and better for you (only slightly) than Long John Silvers/KFC. The Subway in the shopping center up the street is actually your best bet, but sometimes they are out of bread. Which is funny to me that a restaurant that advertises baking its own bread could be out. But there you go. read more

Let's start of with why we came, Burger King was closed. The drive thru line was decent but the wait was a while. When it finally came for us to order the employee taking our order cut us off, after saying hello hello for a good three minutes she came back and greeted us again and we let her know that she cut us off we didn't receive an apology just straight to the order. The line from here moved pretty fast and we didn't wait for our order for a long time. We quickly checked our order was complete and it wasn't but luckily we were still in the parking lot so I got off and tried and attempted to go inside and the door locked, mind you it's said to be opened 24 hours, I know I on the door and waved at the employee in there she just looked at me and watched me knock on the door clearly she must have not see that the order was in my hands, we didn't get a receipt either.
