I want to express my disappointment with my recent experience at Jack in the Box. The employee named Miriam was rude and didn't even acknowledge me. I understand she was packing orders or busy with something, but she could've at least said, "I'll be with you in a bit." Instead, she ignored me completely. I had to go to the drive-thru just to get my food because she wouldn't attend to me, even though she saw me several times and didn't acknowledge me at all. So, picture this delightful experience: I pull up to a Jack in the Box, and it's as empty as can be. Not a single customer around, just three employees and me. I place my order, get my drink, and then I'm asked to pull around and park. Now, keep in mind, there's absolutely no one behind me and no one inside. But hey, who needs logic when you can follow a rule for the sake of it? I politely say no a couple of times, because, really, what's the point? And then, in an incredible twist, the guy decides that since I won't move, he's just going to refuse service altogether. But instead of just giving me the food that's ready, he hands me a $20 bill and tells me to keep the change while his coworker is literally bringing the bag of food to the window. So, instead of using a bit of common sense and handing me my order, I get a refund and a baffling experience. Did An Online Order, came in for pick up on a Sunday afternoon & not busy at all able to get the order fast & out the door right away plus staff is excellent & nice, will definitely come back had a good experience. I've had dramatically varied experiences at this place. One day, I'll come by and it'll be a non-event - good, quick service and hot, greasy food... Other times, it'll be a shit show - like a van blocking the drive thru with a hand-written note saying they're closed for a team meeting - during prime time dinner hours. Or another day just being totally closed when they were supposed to be open... And this was all before COVID. The food... Is SO much greasier than other fast food options, but sometimes you want that! The breakfast burritos are insanely caloric (like... 800cal for a mid-sized burrito). Cray. I like the tacos. I like their burgers even though they're trashy. I like the curly fries. I like their breakfast sandwiches. I like that they always have something new going on... One day they'll have a bunch of stuff with Sriracha on it... The next week they'll have buns with extra butter flavor... And right now, they're on trend with Fried Chicken Sandwiches (and they're insanity is showing - with two alternatives: a fried chicken sandwich with BBQ sauce, and on the late nite menu, one with nacho cheese sauce, jalapenos, and freaking onion rings on it). The older gal Debbie I believe has been there for a long time and every time her voice comes on at the drive through, make no mistake, you will be greeted with friendliness from start to finish. Even her voice is beyond friendly yet genuine. She is so detail oriented unlike Taco Time she made sure to ask if you need creamer, sugar, ketchup, straw even for my orange juice with a bottle and cap. For a Jack In The Box, it's pretty good. Now, I'm comparing Jack In The Box to Jack In The Box, so this 4 star doesn't really mean it's a 4 star dining experience. The service is good. The woman at the window is very nice. Whenever I go to JITB I order the 3 piece eggroll. That's really the only thing on the menu that I like. Last time I was there I was jonesing for a strawberry shake so I ordered one of those too. Ick. Imagine cotton candy sweetness with really no other flavor. It was terrible. But that's not this locations fault. It's just JITB. So there, this review is really more about how personable their staff is and that every time I order my guilty fast food splurge at this location, it's always exactly what I want. Went through the drive-thru and I've never repeated myself so many times over the intercom. Had to correct the servicer multiple times. Assuming the servicer was brand new, I'll give her some slack, but her trainer sounds like s/he did a poor job training the poor girl. First time stopping here. Service was painfully slow. Took about 5 minuets from ordering to serving. Food was lukewarm. Sitting area was messy and there was debris on floor and underneath the counters. Server was handling money with gloves on and did not change when going back to handling food. Dedicate at LEAST 30 minutes of your life to the "never gonna get back" time. I'm not as much of a fast food supporter as I used to be, thank God. I will say that this is one of my fav JITB locations because they haven't messed up my order and most of all, I adore the nice older lady who works in the drive-through. Like the previous Yelper mentioned, you actually feel that she's sincere when she welcomes you and tells you to have a great day. I never feel good about myself after leaving a fast food restaurant except for when she's working. Most of the time that I have ordered from drive thru they have gave me the wrong burger and it's always the cheaper burger than what I have ordered and paid for. Uncleanly, unhygienic. I've witnessed employees handle food without gloves and I've seen food returned with hair in it. Visors and hair nets are seldom worn and the bathrooms are rarely checked. The grill often has problems leaving some meat raw, and when the primary goal is to get it out the window/over the counter as fast as you possibly can, the employees start to care less about food quality and more about their timing. Lets not forget the lack of management, and immature attitudes when handling any customer problems. read more

Stopped in here on the 10th of March with family I ordered a teriyaki bowl after all the rest of the food came I was told they were out of rice and asked if they could get me anything else. I ordered a Jr bacon cheese Burger when he gave it to me I asked if there was a price difference he said he did not know but offered me a second burger. The burgers were so hard and dry I could not chew them and E just threw them out. When I tried to put a compliant in on the company web site it would not let me send it. This review is for the store at 13714 Roosevelt Rd, Monroe WA. I have never been treated with such extraordinary rudeness and disrespect by a fast food employee. Alyssa, who said she was the manager, was called upon to deal with the issue of her staff selling an item to us which was no longer available, although still on the menu. We thought the matter was finished (in a quiet manner by us) and then she yelled at us across the restaurant that we could get out of her store if we were unhappy with the service. She then came to our table and proceeded to berate us for several minutes, and also criticize our parenting skills (my daughter tried to stick up for us). As we drove away from the store we saw her waving at us in a mocking manner. I never expected our attempt to get a quick snack after the movies would be so distressing! This staff member really did her best to to escalate the situation. I do not feel she is at all suited for this role. read more
