If I could rate this place a negative then I would. Avoid at all cost! My wife and I just left after the most god awful experience with Skyler and whomever the miserable female cashier was. Apparently their soda machine is down, which is fine. I didn't want coffee, tea or apple juice so I asked if we could get a discount if I chose to not get a drink. The cashier RUDELY says "nope, we can't do that". I asked her to double check with her manager who came in the mic to again so "no, the owner won't allow it". After a back and forth, I asked for corporates number and was told it was privately owned by Reshina (spelling). I have never in my life heard of this type of nonsense. If you don't have a product that comes with the meal then you discount the meal a little or at least have customer service. The cashier sounded like she hated her job from the moment she spoke. Just straight miserable. We went from spending $50 on dinner to never spending a dime again. When we sat there for 5ish mins waiting to leave, the employees laughed, stared and joked at our expense. Whoever the owner is should really fire and retrain some new employees because this is the way businesses fail. This place sucks. I only came here to get a watermelon sour patch kid soda that is limited and I was super excited for, only to find out that they where out of the syrup, so shortly after I found they sucked even more because when I went to get a pink lemonade it ran out and I only had like 4 oz of liquid in my drink and that really sucked, so I drank it all in like 5 seconds so I got root beer, and welp it went out too, no surprise. So then I finally settled on Fanta, but sprite and Fanta was the only thing left that wasn't out of stock on the drink machine. So I got my food and it sucked. The chicken was dry and the fries were semi-cold. There were lots flies all over and the panels on the ceiling were placed on horribly and they almost fell on my grandma and I that I took to have a lunch with me. I tried to go to the bathroom and the doors were locked even though I was the only one there with my grandma. The air also smelt a little musty. What the what? We sat at the drive thru for almost 5 minutes, with no one in front of us (&dine-in closed), before someone came onto the speaker to take our order. 2pm on Super Bowl Sunday. Not a lot going on. We ordered the "Cluck" chicken sandwich and I am a little awestruck at how much this doesn't looked like the advertisement on the building. So so sad. Incorrect orders paired with none of their machines working half the time make for an overall big waste of time. Oh, and don't even think to come here past 11 pm, unless you want a newfound appreciation for past services you may have deemed unpleasant elsewhere. Nothing against the staff personally, because I'm sure this site has issues that go deeper than any single group of employees, but this place is commonly referred to by my peers as the "don't go there" of fast foods in oak harbor. Twice during the pandemic I gave this location a chance. I grew up with halpy memories of Jack, even the bobble head antenna topper! But this location has failed. We placed an order in the app, paid, arrived, and the restaurant was closed. After leaving a survey and receiving a call from corporate, no resolution or refund. So I waited six months. Tried again. App, paid, arrived. There were 17 cars in the drive up. After 3 cars took 30 minutes, I had to leave. Without an order, again. Left a survey, called in a complaint. No resolution or refund. Whidbey Island is a wonderful place with many locally run restaurants. They'll get my eating out budget now! read more

I've lived here for 11 years and have eaten at Jack in the Boxes up and down the coast and this is truly the worst one I have ever been to. My former roomies ate here nearly daily and I have been here multiple times but finally gave up and refuse to give them business. The owners don't give a damn about the service, or how their employees behave around or to their customers. The dining area fluctuates on cleanliness, hour to hour. The kitchen is consistently filthy even for a fast food place. Fryer oil is seldom changed and fries, tacos etc from them are often brown from the worn out scorched oil. You can tastes its practically rancid. Part of orders are consistently, ice cold or totally left out. Stood there for 25 minutes one time for someone to finally say the item I ordered had been sold out for hours. Employees are rude to customers, make snide comments about, age, weight, looks, race, homophobic & transphobic statements about people right in front of other customers. the various managers over the years just go with it. Very poorly run. Sometimes I try to go very early morning on the way to work. Pull through the drive thru and they say they are closed. Well your hours say 24 hours and the sign is on? Saturday night 12am the McDonalds down the street has a line out to the road and they are closed with the drive thru blocked off with high chairs. First impressions were good! I had a coupon for the new double Jack burger free, no charge, gratis. So I ordered seasoned curly fries and a medium drink and was charged $5.69! I thought this was an extremely high price when you consider there was no charge for the burger. Seems Jack is really proud of their new coke machines and curly fries. If I had paid for that burger, my total would have been over $11.00 for a fast food lunch! This is fast food at sit down restaurant prices! I do like that my burger was cooked to order however, my fries were scooped up into a cup and sat in the "out" tray getting cold the entire time that they cooked my burger! Yes, after sitting out 5 minutes they were not hot or very good when served at room temperature. When my number was finally called, I had to request my soft drink cup and wait in line at the single serve coke machine while my food got even colder. Needless to say not impressive enough especially at these prices to return to this or any other Jack in the box! By the way that new double Jack burger was not warm enough to melt the cheese, patties dry as toast and overall, I saw the entire lunch experience as a poor value and will ignore future coupon deals from this place. read more

A buddy of mine met me at the Oak Harbor Jack in the Box yesterday. He had coupons, one of which was touting the new 'Food Truck' sandwiches. We decided to give the Cheesesteak and Pork Belly BLT a shot. Neither was great. And at $4.99 for a sandwich, it was a rip-off. So, this review is more of an indictment of the Food Truck sandwiches, rather than the Oak Harbor location. I'm sure the sandwiches are equally small at every JitB. Seriously, if you ordered these sandwiches at any other fast food restaurant, they'd be called 'Juniors' or 'Littles'. Ordered breakfast, supreme croissant meal this morning and I was totally disappointed. This store is dirty both inside, outside and around the parking lot. The sandwich was dry and flat, grease was dripping away from hash brown while I removed from the bag, ice mocha absolutely had no test to it. Literally the worst Jack in the box. Their hours don't reflect when they serve. On three separate occasions I have placed online orders and got to the restaurant and they were completely closed down. And on three other separate occasions I drove up and their closed and their drive through is blocked off with high chairs. If you're gonna post your hours make sure it's accurate before I waste my time and money, because when you order through the app, the money is charged and not refunded so they're stealing from you. 0/10 read more

On 6/18/2022 at 11:28 p.m. I once again placed an order on drive thru only to be greeted by a young lady whose customer service was extremely rude and unprofessional! While placing my order not only did she cut me off while I was speaking, but her demeanor was nasty and rude! I worked here many years ago, my brother worked there, I still have friends who work there ... even so, I'll try not to be biased. I don't know everyone who works there, and I have had bad service here, but it's extremely rare. 99% of the people who work there work very hard to do their jobs efficiently and with a smile. The food is never staged for longer than a minute or two, it's always hot and fresh. If you like JIB, this is a good one. read more

I ordered him some chicken nuggets and I bought myself a large stuffed jalapeño. The cashier was rude and snapped at me when I checked to make sure it was all there. The plastic clip board they handed us to sign the credit card slip was covered in some liquid that had been spilled & dried on it & there was a large corner broken off the clip board, leaving sharp edges! Im sorry to say, but I no longer frequent this Jack in the Box. Ive lived in Oak Harbor for years, and ate here frequently. Moved away and was excited to come back and have Jack in the Box. The last 3 or 4 times, the service was good (friendly, quick) but the food was just AWFUL! The churros were so greasy, I could smell the grease the whole way home and it was making me ill. My chicken burger bun was scorched on the top, as if it sat under a heat lamp for a day. Chicken patty was rancid tasting. Curly fries were so greasy I couldnt enjoy them, and I am willing to take a little bit of grease with my fast food but it was just sickening. I just dont go here anymore, sorry! read more

Every time I come the employees are really nice. Good costumer service and my order is always correct. Can't complain

First off, the people who work here are very very nice. Secondly, I know that it's company policy to make everything fresh as it gets ordered and nothing is made ahead of time. I LOVE that. With that being said, I know it usually takes a minute to get your order made and out to you. I came at about 3:30 pm on a Saturday and there was no one in the line in front of me. I waited a pretty long time for my order. I don't know if this is a normal occurance for this location but it's not the only reason they are getting a 4 star instead of a 5. I also asked for their creamy Italian on the side and they put it on one of the sandwiches I ordered. This greatly annoyed me for two reasons: one, I asked for it on the side, two, I told them I wasn't sure if it's what he wanted to common sense would have reinforced, "hey, put this on the side just in case". And third reason they didn't get a 5 star? They made my chicken fajita pita really weird. It's wasn't messy or anything, but they kind of laid the chicken on top rather than putting inside of the pita so I had to take it off and rotate between taking a bite of the pita with veggies and a bite of the chicken. It still tasted good and all... it was just kind of weird. I want a chicken fajita pita now though. =) read more

The service is terrible. Daughter can't dtink orange juice thst is offered with meal due to diabetes. We've always been able to trade juice for soda. This time we were told that wr had to pay an additional 25cents. Lobby was dirty. Restroom dirty not stocked and employees were not friendly.
