My Crunchwrap supreme was nothing but lettuce, sour cream, tomatoes, cheese, and maybe a tablespoon of beef. My tacos were almost all lettuce and cheese. My chips were tiny crumbs. Alright, here's the deal... I went to TB this morning. Went to step in to order, and the lobby was closed. Had to go back to the car and go through the drive-through. Asked why lobby was closed and was told they were under staffed. This, to me, is a huge problem. Taco Bell is nothing but order kiosks. No registers inside the business. So, how is understaffed close the lobby when it is nothing but kiosks??? Very poor business practices. What...are the kiosks on strike? You can only keep up with the drive thru? What the heck? I think when reviewing a franchise the most important factor would be that it upholds the standards you expect from that franchise. This Taco Bell has never dissapointed me, it is what I expect from the franchise. That being said, I think fast food franchises run on a 1 to 3 star scale, I reserve 4 and 5 star ratings for sit down restaurants that I really like. Ok, so it is my first time to be in Oak Harbor, since I'm staying at Coachman, I decided to just take a walk to Taco Bell, and when I arrived, the door was already closed but their drive thru is open, so I was trying to figure out how to order without a car , I called their number and their employee who was just about to leave his work place saw me and even politely asked if everything was ok, and I said that I wanted to order but didn't bring a car, and he said, to just go to the door and another employee opened the door for me. My little family loves the food, but I can certainly attest, great great service! First Taco Bell I've seen ever that has excellent service with very helpful employees and first TB that has better Yelp stars and reviews! Keep up the good work! Absolutely amazing customer service at this Taco Bell! As soon as we walked in we were greeted and helped right away. The cashier was so sweet and she was quick to answer any questions and got our order quickly to kept the line moving even with a rush for lunch. The cooks in the back got the food out quickly and got our order perfectly. Awesome customer service and the store is kept very clean and tidy. As far as fast food goes, this Taco Bell is the gold standard. I might be biased because my daughter has a crush on one of the young men who work here, but it's always great to come in and have a big smile waiting for my little girl. They know her by name and always give her all the attention she craves. When I moved away for 6 months and then came back, they still remembered us and were genuinely happy and nice about our return! In regards to the food: it's really hard to mess up food at Taco Bell. They could basically slap any ingredients together and I'd eat it. So that being said, the ingredients are always fresh, I frequently see food handlers stop to wash their hands, and I've never had a slapdash or pathetic meal there. Most importantly, though, they always put in enough chicken to make the quesadillas worth the money! Some Taco Bells will skimp on it, but these guys rule. read more

Super disappointed with my last few visits here. I've had quite a few encounters with the lady who is on drive thru duty (always after 10pm - because that's when I'm off work) and her attitude has been so ugly multiple times on different occasions when I approach her with complete mannerism and respect because I know how it is to work food and on top of that, late at night. Yet she continues (almost every time) I order cuts me off by immediately telling me the total and assuming I am done ordering. Then is rude when I nicely tell her I am not finished. Then getting my food something is missing. It makes me feel a bit attacked and disrespected. Love the food but service like this is completely trash and wrong. SLOW. I seems that they can't get through 2 to 3 cars in a timely manner. So when they get 10 cars, it's not worth waiting. The line was so long through the drive through that we went in, and it seemed like the employees had 0 hussle. They seemed like they didn't have a care in the world, when their drive through was wrapped around the building. The next time we came by and saw the line we decided to just go somewhere else.
