I just wanted to take a minute and praise Sherman Jack in the Box on 1417/75 for the best customer service. Dressed in pajama bottoms and a T-shirt I ran to get the girls and I food from a drive thru. While waiting in line I realized I had forgotten my wallet and had no way to pay except if they would take a card over the phone. I got to the window looking very disheveled and asked them if they could do a card over the phone because I forgot my wallet. They were not able to do that but instead handed my food to me and told me to just pay them later! Wow! I was shocked by their trust and kindness. I of course went home and got my wallet and went back to pay them. When I got to the window they tried to give me free deserts as a reward for coming back. The guy at the window said that people usually don't come bank and pay. I was shocked. A kind act should always be rewarded by the person doing the right thing. Way to go To the manager at Jack in the Box for not allowing her kindness to be harnessed by people taking advantage of it! You are very appreciated! Do not use app here. Spencer's response is the only contact I've had from jack in the box. And Spencer isn't reading reviews apparently. I already contacted the company via the link he posted and they did nothing. I was charged in their app and when I drove through drive thru they said they had no people to cook. I can forgive that but reverse the charge. I had to open a case with my credit card company to get my money back. Again YOU KNOW YOU WERE NOT SERVING AND I WAS CHARGED. You should be proactive about reversing charges. At least Mastercard is more helpful than you. I hope they charged you to reverse the charges. read more

Came here after a long day of baseball where from 8am to 6pm I essentially had no more than breakfast and survival food. I ordered two tiny taco boxes and let me tell you what. They were the best tiny taco boxes that I have had from any Jack-in-the-Box ever. Upon opening the box for the tiny tacos, I could immediately tell that they were different. these were the freshest that I have ever received. I will definitely be coming back. read more

Needed to make a quick bathroom stop and grab a bite to eat on my way home to Dallas. Jack in the Box Tacos are an acquired taste. It has been an on going joke with many of my friends since high school in the 60's that the tacos contain "mystery meat" and who knows exactly what it is but it is tasty. If you are looking for American style tacos, go to Taco Bell, Taco Casa, Taco Bueno because Jack's tacos are in a category of their own. That being said, I have stopped at this particular location twice now and have been a bit disappointed both times. First time there was no cheese in 6 tacos, and yesterday barely any lettuce at all. There was however plenty of taco sauce which burned my mouth. But, hey my fault I usually tell them easy on the sauce. First time through here I used the drive through, people were nice, efficient etc. Yesterday I needed to use the ladies facilities and it seemed that the person working the drive through was either new or confused because the girl at the counter was having to go back and help her. There were two of us standing there waiting and I got my tacos before the guy who ordered before me. She handed me my bag and never bothered to say to the guy standing there, who was looking at me because I ordered after him, yours will be out in a moment sir. So a little bit of customer service might have been needed there. But otherwise it was and okay experience. read more

What started out years ago as a restaurant that was well maintained and had quality food and service, has gone downhill severely. The staff here have no idea what customer service is and move at slow speeds. This has become a fast food restaurant where NOTHING is done with any excellence. Especially the management at this location are particularly poor. Gone are the days where Jack in the Box was a staple in decent fast food service and quality. McDonald's on Texoma parkway far surpasses this location. If you want fast food, head there instead. read more

Friendly staff....thats where the good news ends. I had to download the yelp app to write this review, but its ok, cause i have lots of time. You see, Ive been stuck in my bathroom since 3am. I'm not going to go into too much detail about whats going on in here, but whatever you imagine is happening, its worse. I didnt think the food was too bad. All i got was a cheeseburger and curly fries and i had no complaints. But my belly is complaining now! I'm sure lots of people eat there every day who do not get sick...I wish i was one of them. But I've been on the road since before noon, and haven't eaten anything else, so im pretty confident pointing my finger at them as the reason for my illness. Boooooooo! Contrary to the previous three reviewers, my experience with this shop has generally been good. Employee turnover is a problem - as it is in all fast food restaurants - but generally the employees are friendly and try to be helpful. I find most of the food to be good - sometimes even very good! However, I do have one very big complaint - their coffee management is simply terrible. I'm a big coffee drinker and I like Jack's coffee. The problem is the coffee dispenser is almost always empty. This is obviously a management failure of not training workers to give sufficient attention to the coffee issue. Almost all of their coffee dispensers are worn out and the manager seems unwilling or incaple of replacing them. Additionally, the staff places these dispensers (usually only one is available) immediately adjacent to the counter cash registers, so anyone wanting a refill must compete with customers standing in line to place orders. Solutions: 1. train workers to pay more attention to coffee inventories; 2. move the dispensers away from the cash registers; 3. monitor to ensure the dispensers don't run out of coffee; 4. get some new coffee dispensers. These "fixes" are very simple and inexpensive, but this store has resisted them for years now in spite of my repeated requests. read more

I came to Jack-in-the-Box today for my first time to experience a Jack-in-the-Box taco much to my dismay it was the worst taco but is ever been put in my mouth. if I was a health inspector I have your restaurant shut down for serving these stupid tacos . microcephalic amount of lettuce and beef these tacos deserve to be taken off the menu. I do not think I will ever be coming back to Sherman to your establishment. The servers gave me a very eldritch vibe it made me feel very uncomfortable. i'd much rather go to the gas station establishment next-door and get gas station sushi. if one of my friends ever I mean ever tries to bring you back to this Jack-in-the-Box I will take his car in drive it in to the nearest lake. I would rather prefer a shit sandwich. definitely would not recommend. all do you know good workers at this place needs to go get a reality check and figure out what they are going to do with their lives. read more
