We ordered a 5 piece chicken nugget kids meal for $4.19 plus tax which is really expensive when three nuggets were almost the size of a quarter, are these popcorn chickens? so random! plus the fries were undercooked. Do NOT go to this location. I just ordered an ultimate bacon cheeseburger and the top of the bun had fucking mold on it. The owner might also want to check the inventory levels. I saw one of the male workers walk out with 2 big boxes of frozen patties and take them home (I have the license plate number of the car he went home in). I was there at 11:20pm on August 1st. I have never experienced an incident with a restaurant so disgusting in my life. It also took 20 minutes for me to get my food when there was nobody else there. The employees were playing outside, one was hanging out with his girlfriend. The WORST experience in my life. I will never step foot in another JIB ever again. Absolutely horrid. The spot was horrible when I walked inside the floors were sticky and smelly the restrooms looked like trash. They only had 3 flavors of drinks and the people inside spoke like they hated their job. The atmosphere and the way they spoke made me feel very uncomfortable with purchasing my food from one of my top three favorite hamburger restaurants. Forget even trying to come here in the mornings. If there are 4 cars in line in front of you, your wait time will be about 20-30 minutes. Lunchtime is better. If there are 4 cars in line, your wait time will be about 15 minutes. I've never been inside, so I can't give estimated times there. The staff aren't that friendly either. They don't say hi, they don't say thank you, and they don't smile. When you drive up to the window, they just tell you your total, you pay, they hand you change silently, and you move on. This is quite unlike other Jack in the Box locations, but this is the most convenient for me during working hours. This location is open 24 hours, unlike some in the Webster area. For what it's worth, I do like Jack in the Box compared to other fast food restaurants. I really like the $.99 regular tacos because they're cheap and taste good. They're so bad for you, but who cares? No one should ever voluntarily go to a fast food restaurant and expect it will fulfill weight-loss dieting needs. Today I tried the chorizo and cheese fries. I do like the extra kick chorizo gives compared to regular ground beef. Yum! read more

Tried to stop here before taking my kid to swim lessons and waited so long we nearly missed his swim lesson all together. The breakfast sandwich on sourdough was delish. However, it was given to me in a bag with no napkins, and it was pretty buttery on the outside, so it was interesting trying to wipe my hands on the wrapper and the bag enough so that I could open the car door without leaving buttery fingerprints on it. I also don't care for being told to have a "blessed day." I have never liked it when people assume everyone else is their same religion, and that they want to be blessed. I am appalled at the service at this location. I pulled up in the rain to order food at 11:30pm. The boy that took our order rushed us through the order. Several times. I placed my order as 2 jr bacon cheeseburgers with extra pickles, a kids combo with a poweraid and a large sweet tea. He again said "is that all." When I looked at the screen he had 3 cheeseburgers. I politely corrected him. When I got to the window he hands my fiance the drinks without saying a word then pushes bags into our car with no receipt. We waited. And waited then someone in a dirty uniform rudely asked "what do you need"...and at that point I responded "my reciept." First everywhere I go I pay money I get my receipt..and what is on the receipt? 3 jr bacon cheeseburgers. So I was over charged. I had already been on watch on my card fpr overdrafting fees. People pay what they have so I would advise the training be more intense with the employees. I have used this location many times and would prefer this one but never again. I called the manager and had to call twice (allowing the phone to ring and ring until it went to a Verizon message). The manager did not actively listen. She repeated herself over me talking to tell me to come back to "fix" my order. I already had more than I needed or asked for. I didn't want more food. To be heard for my complaint would have been enough. She said I could come back again and I had to remind her I didn't have time on my lunch break. read more

Most times Jack in the Box is pretty good fast food. Yes, I admit those tacos can be an unhealthy pleasure once in awhile. This location, however, needs to step up its game in some areas. The food is fine as far as fast food goes. After all, it's fast food. The food comes out hot and the milkshakes are excellent. The chicken teriyaki bowl is one of the healthier choices and one of the better menu items for taste. From what I've experienced here, the chicken is pretty good quality with very little to no fatty pieces. Sometimes the sauce can be heavy handed or too light handed but usually they get the balance just right. This location, unlike a couple others, doesn't run out of rice or I've not had that problem so far during the times I've stopped here. Another definitely-not-on-the-healthy-food-list but still tasty are the bacon cheese potato wedges. Maybe you can "console and convince" yourself that the bacon is protein, albeit not the best type protein, or perhaps you can pretend there's calcium in that cheese sauce and this potato was once good for you when it was in its basic form. You're not really fooling yourself. You just want a calorie, fat and sodium laden fast food treat. Go ahead and have a milkshake with it. Jack uses real ice cream so along with the fat there actually is some calcium. Indulgence is okay. Once in awhile. Jack has a sizable menu for fast food and as mentioned you can go somewhat healthy or not healthy with what you order. The service inside is efficient and wait time isn't so bad. However, the drive through can be very slow. It depends on what time of day and, of course, how many are in front of you in the line. Even at off hours and few cars the drive through wait time is still long. Make sure you have the time or be patient. I've noticed this location will also either overload you with napkins or skip giving napkins altogether. Straws can also be forgotten. This Jack has a few kinks that could be worked out but on the whole it's one of the more consistent ones. Not totally healthy but okay on occasion. read more

My wife & I pulled in to the drive-thru this morning just past 10am. The place was nearly empty and we were the only car in the drive-thru. We ordered a #26 with a cinnamon coffee. After a few long minutes, a gentleman came to the window and asked us to pull around to the front of the bldg. We asked him to return our credit card and then we moved around to the front. We also realized he didn't offer us a receipt. We sat out front and waited and waited and waited until my wife finally went inside. She discovered our order was cooked, wrapped, and ready but no one was bothering to put the food into a bag and bring it out. She also noticed that there was an oily film all over the floor. The floor wasn't wet, but there was a disconcerting slippery film. Since we are regulars at a JIB in Corpus Christi, TX, we know that this poor service is not the way Jack runs his restaurants. I was greeted by a less than enthusiastic young woman who barely made eye contact with me or acknowledged me at the window other than handing me my Food. She handed me two overflowing drinks and went back to mumbling through her microphone to the next customer. I asked twice for napkins and she blatantly ignored me other than rolling her eyes. No smile, no cordial greeting. i have been eating JITB tacos since they showed up in Houston decades ago.i can now see why they brought back the "CLOWN" based on my 7-8-2013 experience in Sugar Land. when i went to work for my late former boss in January 1997, he told me this JITB was exceptional and he would frequently send me there to buy his lunch. I had to agree and up to 7-7-2013, i would have given them 5 stars. on 7-8-2013, the FIRST bite into a taco BROKE off a bottom tooth: it was like i had bitten into a ROCK! i immediately took the taco & tooth to the woman at the counter that took my order and explained i swallowed whatever it was but not the tooth. her response?"i dont hardly see what could have done that....it's just lettuce, meat and a taco shell..." i added: "and something hard as a rock!" she shrugged her shoulders: didnt care! i contacted JITB consumer complaints and got the 3rd degree from somebody in that section. after being verbally browbeaten enough i finally said:"look lady- i didnt wake up this morning to go to your restaurant with intent to bite into a taco so i could break my tooth at the gumline and spend a couple of hours in the dentist chair (plus nearly $1300) for my own amusement!" she rapidly stated it isnt their restaurant...it's a FRANCHISE! (how conveeenient) she hurriedly closed the conversation stating she would pass the info along to the owner and they would be in touch. it has been a coupla weeks now and not a peep. finding out WHO owns that JITB seems to be a very well guarded secret! since they choose to ignore my request for instructions to file a claim, i can tell you folks that's it for that location and probably ALL JITBs! might have to consider litigation- caveat emptor read more
