My wife and I stop at this Jack in the Box for our teen 3 or 4 times a month. We're usually there early late night, (around 9pm). When I've been there it's usually the same night crew. One gent, pretty tall usually with a hat over his longish hair. He cooks up the burgers and fries fresh and delicious. They never taste like they've even seen a heating lamp. He's quick and my son loves it. Nick is usually working the window. Nick is thinner with dark longish hair. He's super chill, very polite, friendly and always makes sure we have everything we need before handing over the grub. OK, I generally really like this Jack-in-the-Box, but... Today helps me understand why this particular location only gets two stars. It's 1130 on a Sunday not late at night not early in the morning a bustling time of day pull up. There's already three cars in front of me. I literally ordered two tacos and a spicy crunchy jack wrap waited for close to 10 minutes to get my order because the first car in line I think ordered half the kitchen. I've gotten totally obsessed with these spicy jack wraps lol I haven't eaten yet today. That's all I wanted and I just got the tacos in case I wanted a snack after finally pull out of the drive-through get on the road and go to eat the jack wrap it's wrong. It's a plain chicken wrap, no jalapeños It's not even the spicy chicken. It's a plain breaded chicken strip and I'm sure other people like them, on top of that I don't know why it's so hard to put a sprinkle strip of lettuce some cheese, mayo, and chicken was a huge glob of lettuce, mayo, and cheese, sitting at the very bottom of the wrap and then the wrap just wrapped around the chicken, anyways it was awful on top of awful and not what I ordered at all. then on top of that the tacos were lukewarm and so soggy with oil they were inedible. Not like it was a ton of money, but it was still money that went completely to waste. I don't know if it's just the group working today but from the time I took the order where the girl was so short and sounded miserable in her tone of voice to whoever is working in the kitchen. Mind you the drive thru is blocked with semi truck and no vehicles in sight of drive thru. What really gets me to write this review is the fact they had us waiting like a dumb a$$ looking at the menu for 10 minutes. Food was mediocre. I used to work at a Jack in a different state. The cashier had a major language barrier which completely made this experience worse. We wanted the snoop dog menu and wanted to opt out of getting the brownie. She said she couldn't sell it to me without the brownie. Then went in and just made up a random order for the munchie menu. Later receiving our food only getting a jumbo Jack not even anything off of the munchie meal in both boxes. And she over charged for our meals. Completely unsatisfied. I will not be going back. The drive thru guy was spot on with courtesy and service. He may have been the only employee working the late shift Monday night this week. He is the star in this review. Our seasoned fries ($3 29) were burnt and no ranch or ketchup. Our burger was smushed ( half smashed) and mediocre. No onions or salsa for my chicken fajita pita ($5.99). The egg rolls were good and got 2 things of sauce but I specifically asked for it. Guess I need to ask for sauces for fries and pita. Will not be going back. read more

Probably the worst customer service i have ever received. I went through the drive-through today and ordered a 10 piece nugget meal and some egg rolls. The lady working today (didn't get her name) not only messed up my order but basically screamed at me through the drive through intercom. I said i wanted a medium curly fry about 5 times and she just could not understand and kept screaming random blabber at me so i gave up trying to understand what she was saying. She also kept adding random items on the screen that i did not order at all. I get up to the window and got the wrong fries and wrong drink. I love going to this location, close to home, right by the freeway. The lady that was working the drive-thru was AWESOME!!! Even with her mask on (for COVID) you could tell she had a genuine smile behind it. She was exceptional, and she apologized for the wait. We even had a laugh when one of my bags (I had a huge order) fell by itself off the window counter. She had it replaced with in 30 seconds! That's how good the crew was that night. Drove from San Fran heading home to North Vancouver, BC and stayed in Quality Inn next door. Walked in at 10pm with both doors open. Was there yesterday 7/1/18 ordered three regular hamburgers, one lg order of onion rings, two tacos and one lg shake. The burgers two had burned buns and one did not even made it to the toaster. The pickles tasted terrible!! The large order of onion rings only had five onion rings two large ones and three small ones. The tacos one was so hard it almost broke my tooth. In terms of fast food burger places this is a pretty good spot. Got the $4.99 blt burger combo and it was pretty meaty and tasty. At mcdonalds down the street you couldn't get a skimpy big mac for 5 bucks. If you don't believe me about the skimpy comment just look at the protein figures on the nutrition, the big mac has 25 grams of protein versus 38 for this blt burger. I also got their jack's spicy chicken sandwich and it was fresh and good for a fast food spot. I got the "premium blt chicken" combo at mcdonald's across the street last week and it was $7.39 before tax and the chicken patty filled like half of the stale bun.
