Definitely recommend this spot for tacos! Having lived in San Diego and eating tacos in Tijuana, finding a good spot for tacos has been hard in the Portland metro area. Currently, as I'm writing this, the tacos here range from $2-$2.75 each. Not a bad price for them especially since they load each taco with so much meat! The tacos were not greasy and all the meat was juicy, really loved that they added two corn tortillas per taco. When I try tacos for the first time somewhere, I always order the carne asada, lengua and Al pastor (adobada) tacos to see how it is. I also ordered some quesabirria tacos too since it seems to be popular here. The al pastor taco was probably my favorite it had a slight smokiness and spice to it. Generally I've found al pastor tacos at other places to lack the smokiness or spice in it, so really glad to eat this one! The lengua was good, light in flavor hit good amount of lengua and not dry. It was topped with cilantro and onion. The carne asada is a classic, they added cilantro, onion and some salsa on top which I liked. For the quesabirria tacos, they were decent. I personally preferred the other tacos more. The quesabirria tacos came with a side of consommé to dip the tacos in which I loved. For all the tacos, it came with some pickled jalapeños and carrots, some fresh sliced radish, fried jalapeño and sides of salsa. Will be coming back again for their tacos and to try some of the plates they offer. Also looks like they serve breakfast all day too. There's good amount of parking where this food cart is located. I ordered a carnitas enchilada plate- The rice was fine, nothing special. Beans were good. Portions were on the larger side. Enchilada sauce was good. Sadly the meat inside left something to be desired. There were pieces of dry shredded pork all throughout. Really dry, as though it had been sitting on a warmer far too long. Almost every bite had dried out pork :( My partner ordered the carne asada burrito. He said it had great flavor but sadly, there were pieces of dried out asada in his burrito. We went out of our way to try this food truck based on a friend's recommendation. Maybe it was an off day? Idk. I really wanted to like this place. I think I'll give it one more go and hope for better food quality. P.S. All the other reviews about the service being poor -- partner said the girl taking orders wasn't friendly at all but wasn't rude either. All business I guess. I was excited to find this authentic Mexican food in my neighborhood, so I got a couple things to try. I had one carnitas taco. It had a large amount of meat which was very well seasoned, a simple and delicious street taco. The a la cart cheese enchilada taco tried wasn't a something I'll reorder. I realize I like a wet enchilada, so it was kinda meh for me. I also ordered the #19 Pollo Asado for tomorrow, but had to try a nibble. It was really hard to stop eating as it was so fresh and flavorful. Beans and rice are always hit and miss based on what we each are familiar with. I happened to love their version of both. And, the corn tortillas were soft, and tasted like they'd just been made. Also, the portion size was generous. I'm looking forward to trying their breakfast burrito. I'm only bummed they're not open early enough for me to grab and go for my weekday commute. I highly recommend this awesome little food truck. read more

People of the PNW... let me introduce you to fabulous Mexican food. Growing up in A city that borders Mexico, I was fortunate enough to experience both the beauty of Mexican culture and Mexican food. I have deeply missed the emersion in both, from my youth and I have to say I've been searching for the style of Mexican food I grew up with... and thank God I found this amazing gem! Fabulous tortillas, amazing quality meats (read: not the fatty, hard to chew, grossness that other taco shops, up here, tend to serve), large burritos, perfect ratios in your burrito and AMAZING HOT SAUCE! If spice isn't your thing they have a tasty green. However, for those of us that LOVE flavorful spice, the red is PERFECTION. Not to mention those working in the food truck were incredibly nice and the food truck is clean (I've seen some gnarly food trucks). I live a couple blocks away and really enjoy the food, and would really enjoy having a nice neighborhood spot to go to... if only their customer service wasn't so bad. I always order my tacos with no cilantro and 20 or 25% of the time they put it on anyway (not a huge deal, but come on...) and when I bring the food back they treat me like I'm the ass hole for not just accepting it. Never offer any comp (I'm not trying to get free food but maybe offer an extra taco or soda... something).. never even offer an apology but instead sigh and look annoyed and slap together a new taco. It wasn't terrible but wasn't good. I had the carnitas tacos, definitely needed more flavor. Couldn't eat it without needing sour cream guac and soaked in lime. Also got the birria tacos which I've never tried but can definitely say that they weren't good enough tho I had nothing to compare to. They gave us 2 little dried up limes for 10 tacos. The best thing there was the guac and I could've even made it better than there's. Wouldn't eat here again sadly read more

Stumbled upon this place by accident - what a happy a accident! I got the jumbo carne asada torta - it was AMAZING! They had a few covered benches outside for people to sit and I had my food within 10 minutes. I can't wait to go back and try more from the menu based on the reviews! Horrible customer service! Lady in front has attitude issues!! We ordered a torta Asada and the Asada is dry like it's been sitting all day! They also over killed it with too much salt! We tried the one on fourth plain by orchards park. Had the Al Pastor burrito and birria tacos. My wife had the lengua burrito. Both burritos were great but my only complaint was the birria dipping sauce. It was pretty oily and somewhat bland. I was expecting an explosion of flavor but unfortunately I was wrong. I've drove by this taco stand so many times and today I decided to try the food, first thing was that the lady taking the orders didn't understand anything that I was saying and IMO I speak clear and fluent English (I asked how much a chicken burrito was), she said I'll have to wait, so ok I waited she gave me the price and upon counting the little money I had I realized that I was short, no problem I gave her my card and very clearly and respectfully said to take $6.69 off my card and I'd pay the balance in cash well she decided to take the entire amount off my card, I guess no big deal I'll just go to the bank and deposit the cash (I'm less than a half mile from home) but ok, so as I'm waiting for the food another customer walks up and orders his food no problem, she didn't say "huh", "or no understand" like she did to me the 3 times I interacted with her. So here's my problem , my burrito came and for 10 bucks it was small, barely any chicken and bland, burrito wasn't cut in half like I asked for, so overall it was terrible food and service, I don't recommend this place to anyone. read more
