I let them replace the caliper and pads, to the tune of at least $600. A day later the right rear caliper seized up. I also paid to get that repaired too. Ever since, the right rear has been getting hot and makes a scuffing noise. I left my car at that other shop at least a dozen times asking them to find and fix the problem. It was obvious that they either won't or can't fix it. So I told Doody Brothers, I think the other shop did something wrong. Anyone would logically assume that. Doody Brothers got argumentative with me saying I was looking to blame the other shop. I don't give a damn! I'm not looking to file a court case. I was just looking for someone to fix the problem. The guy got mad and started yelling. I never knew mechanics could be so hyper sensitive.

(Pep Boys quoted me $2,800 to replace control arms only, we felt very fortunate to find Steve. Then just recently he quoted a price of nearly $500 to replace the front and back brake pads and rotors on my wife's car, we supply the parts, we feel this price is high. With good tools the work to replace brake pads and rotors for all four wheels should take between 1 to 1-1/2 hours. Any mechanics out there looking for brake work?
