I had a noise coming from the left FRONT tire area and asked them to check it. I get a call later…read morethat my REAR brakes, with only 4k miles on them were bad. Rotors were scored and pads were shot. Impossible of course with only 4k and 2 years on them. Rotors had a few score lines but certainly did not need changing. Never mentioned anything about the front end noise. They said the pads had a lifetime warranty so it would "only" cost me $500. Drove down there and talked to the tech while the car was still on the lift and he said the pads were fine and the rotors were ok. Confided to me that the manager, not Dave but a grumpy fat guy in a filthy shirt and a ho-hum attitude, is a jerk and nobody likes him. Tech fixed the front end noise, a loose piece of shielding, no charge, gave me the keys and I was outta there. If you go there talk to Dave and not that other guy.

Recently, here in July 2026 I went to get tires, before that was January 2023. Don't expect discounts or service specials which are now rare. Dunn no longer places various tires on the floor for display (show room). Service is still good but they now operate like a dealership wanting to check over your vehicle and make recommendations or get you to buy items and service you may not need. Dunn is not the same since being taken over by Discount Tire. The Dunn name stays for recognition as to keep its former local customers coming back. Unfortunately, computer data, records, and purchases were lost, removed, or deleted when Discount Tire took over in 2023. Out with the Old and In with the New. Nothing like starting over. A Discount Tire store is like 2 miles away from Dunn. Best to pre-order tires if delivery is needed (payment is due after service is performed so no need to pre-pay for tires) and please make an appointment because they are busy.

It was a day-and-night difference from another shop I struggled with that week. In the other shop, I was told that the tire would be ready in next day (not available), then 3 day later (not available again) and a week later. In contrast, Big4 got the matching tire next day. .. really saved my week for this rather exotic car. I saw how they meticulous took care of the car. I asked them to use the exact torque (103 lbs-ft) for the wheel bolts, and I saw they hand fastened each bolt with a torque wrench! Then they put the exact air pressure (42 PSI, I didn't tell them but they got it from the door sticker). This 42 PSI pressure is very important for the safe operation of Polestar 2. Overall, they did everything timely (waiting time was very short), yet handled everything very professionally. Some other notes: ---Customer reception area was spacious, clean and welcoming. That space didn't have any "tire smell" that is commonly found in most tire shops. Actually the door had a sign, "don't bring a tire inside" so I could tell they try to make this space as nice as possible. There were two nice old water paintings decorating the wall, and many photos and the big wooden American flag and Big4 sign. I liked how they decorated the reception. ---I saw a firetruck being serviced at another slot. I didn't know a firetruck could be placed in a private shop like this, and that scene was kind of assuring that even a firetrucks being sent here for service. I am so happy to find this shop, and can recommend it to anyone.
