Great snacks for food but the cider and beer tasting was amazing for a great price! Service was fast and friendly! Ambiance was great for a get together sit down!

I love coming to Jack Russell Farm Brewery. I even spent one of my birthdays here with friends and family. I am a fan of Jack Russells and I am a fan of beer so I really do love this spot. It is a must stop especially if I am exploring other businesses in the Apple Hill area. I love that I can get a flight and choose what I want. From stouts, ciders, sours to IPAs, this place has a lot to offer. I do like when a food vendor is there. When were were last there, no one was there and they were busy even when they opened. This is just a popular spot! I did see families bring games and playing outside at the table area and I do recommend you do this because it is fun! I cannot wait to go back especially when I am in the area.

Always love stopping here when making stops at various apple hill spots. They have a wide selection of craft beers, ports, ipas, wines ciders and even mead! I went with a flight of blackberry, raspberry, boysenberry, apple, peach, and mead for a nice tasting. All the ciders were light and delicious and didn't taste overly sweet. I recently heard they also have seltzers which I definitely need to try next time. I always love that they have different food trucks here as well. Overall I can't recommend this spot enough

Jack Russel is always our first stop on our annual Apple Hill trip. The cider and beer are always refreshing and they offer great choices. The setting is beautiful and they always have some type of food whether it's on site vendors or food trucks. We will always come back.

We stopped through here on our travels around Apple Hill. We ordered a flight of 6 that included 4 beers and 2 ciders. The staff were nice and knowledgeable. Inside there were tables and some items for purchase including apparel and mix&match four packs of beer, big patio outside with tables and umbrellas, plus tables on the lawn too. There were a couple food trucks but only 1 was open and it looked like they normally have a kitchen as well but it was closed the day we went (it may just be open on the weekends). Narrow lot for parking but we found a space. Nice restroom area. It was a nice day and sitting outside was just perfect.

This was a great find! Atmosphere was really cool, the beer and wine selections was on point, relaxing outdoor seating and friendly staff! Can't wait to go back.

CUTE place overlooking the most beautiful pine trees, tucked away with fun seasonal beers, seltzers, and alcoholic slushees. They had a Mexican food truck when I went for delicious bites. I'd love to come back & soak up all of their beautiful flowers and outdoor seating!

This is one of my favorite breweries in the area. They have a lot of options to try. We were greeted right away and I ordered a flight because they have so many choices. There is a large outside area with tables to enjoy. We brought our dog and he loves to walk around and smell the flowers. Love their Blueberry beer and they also offer a good pumpkin during the fall.

My husband and I went to check out this brewery on Memorial Day. Big area for picnic tables. They offer beer and hard cider. I ended up having the blueberry cider and that was delicious. My husband had red ale. Nice staff will be back again.

Decent brewery with a nice outside seating area. They have cider and beer and they also have some food for sale so this is a good place to get a meal if you're visiting Apple hill. I tried a cider and a flight of beer.

A fun spot. Large open seating. Hard Cider, beer, and eats. Good place to bring the kids. They can run around while the parents have some adult time. Friendly service. Sometimes there is entertainment.

Such a fun place with a huge selection of beers on tap, wines and ciders, as well as a family-friendly, warm and welcoming space for kicking back and hanging out. We loved stopping here at a recent trip to Apple Hill for a little break and were pleasantly surprised at how large the premises were. There's plentiful indoor and outdoor seating, picnic benches and umbrellas, and even a field for picnics or kids to play soccer while adults sip and talk. We opted to go to the "Cave" which offers wine and ciders and meads, and were helped by a friendly employee. We got a flight of 6 ciders/meads at $3 a pour, which was a great price and fun variety! In order, our favorites were the blueberry cider, then apple cider, raspberry cider, peach cider, blackberry cider, and wildflower mead. It was so fun to try and we enjoyed relaxing at Jack Russell.

I've been coming to Apple Hill since I was a little kid and I've been visiting Jack Russell for a little over 10 years now. I always get the same thing: cider flight! I love tasting the various flavors and usually buy my favorite flavor to bring home. I love that this brewery is in the hills and away from the busyness of downtown. There is plenty of outdoor seating and if you are hungry, they also serve food! Lastly, my boyfriend prefers beer and they have a separate tasting room just for that!

My husband and I have been members of the wine club for years and do kazoo caroling with the kids with them every year! This place is and amazing low-key--no pretense, pours and plenty of personality. The owner? Hilarious. Think part-winemaker, part-stand-up-comedian. The staff? Super friendly and genuinely happy to talk wine, life, or the weather in Camino. You'll feel like a regular even if it's your first visit. Now let's talk wine--because wow. Mostly reds (and they're all fantastic), but they've got a few whites that hold their own. Some standouts: Pommie: A pomegranate champagne that's basically a party in a bottle. Bubbly, fruity, and dangerously easy to love. I love them all! Just a few favorites: Dolce Bottino: A red with a name that cheekily translates to "sweet booty" . It's rich, smooth, and just a little bit flirty--like the wine version of a wink. Château Mau Faux: ( read that slow and twice ) The ultimate "any night" red. Whether you're Netflixing, grilling, or just unwinding, this one's your new best friend. Crystal Basin isn't just a tasting room--it's a vibe. Come for the wine, stay for the laughs, and leave with a bottle (or three... or a case)

Hwy 50 Brewery has live music on weekends, so Nello Olivo stays open later to match their hours. 8 PM on Fridays & Saturdays and 7 PM on Sundays!!! I don't have to leave Apple Hill around 5 or 6 PM anymore. What a wonderful and inviting place to do a wine tasting! I received such gracious service from Mark and another male bartender. I was allowed several free sample sips before deciding what to order. If you want a proper tasting flight with a tray of 5 wine glasses (filled with 2 ounces or about an inch up the wine glass?), it costs $25 if you want to sit and drink at a table and only $15 if you are willing to stand and taste at the bar, assuming the bar isn't too busy. A glass of wine is $10 and a glass of premium wine is $20, as of 7/29/2023. There is also a Yelp check-in offer for a $15 flight of 5 wines. Mark recommended the 2020 PRIMITIVO, which is his favorite and ended up being my favorite. Smooth. The MALBEC was my 2nd favorite for its flavor. I also tried the Sangiovese, Barbera, Sinfonia, Chardonnay, and Cali Mojo. Kept on tap, the Cali Mojo tasting was ample and was served over ice cubes. So refreshingly sweet, fruity, and bubbly that I ended up ordering it! I was slow to realize you could order the CALI MOJO in colorful cans to take home. I should have done that. It's a lovely wine spritzer or wine soda. You can purchase snacks to go with your tasting. I forgot to take a look at the charcuterie offerings in a fridge, but the sweet treats are only 2 for $1. These include individually wrapped Ferrero Rocher, Madeleine cookies, and brownie bites. Very reasonably priced and thoughtful. You could also buy food from Hwy 50 Brewery next door (i.e., pizza, hot dogs, tacos, salad, fries), and you're welcome to wander, sit, drink, and listen to live music over there. Nello Olivo also sells attractive and affordable gifts. A cute blanket with cats or a pretty swimsuit or beach cover-up costs $20-$25. $6 bracelets. $8 dangling earrings. Nello Olivo is conveniently located less than 2 miles away from Boa Vista Orchards on Carson Road. I didn't realize Camino was that close. The parking lot is quite large and long, but I imagine it could get full if it's packed. Nello Olivo is in a plaza within walking distance of several other wine tasting rooms and restaurants. We ordered at the bar inside and then the wines were brought out to us on the patio. It took longer than expected to get our flights, and then we were a bit disappointed that the sommelier didn't spend much time telling us about the wines. She brought them out and told us what each wine on the flight was, then left and we never saw her again. We've had several amazing tasting experiences in wine country where the sommelier tells you many more details about the wines including where on the property the grapes are grown, how it is made, and what different notes we will taste in each wine. It was a pretty basic explanation and we didn't feel that it was very personable despite it being a slow weekday. We ordered two tastings but all the wines were brought out in small carafes, we couldn't tell if each one held enough wine for one of us or both of our tastings combined. This wasn't ever explained either, so we assumed it was for both of us to share. We still enjoyed having our wines on this beautiful property, and we were able to have our baby with us which was nice. We weren't very impressed with the wines themselves and did not have any favorites that we needed to purchase bottles of. It is $10 for a glass or a tasting which was quite the deal. The prices and atmosphere were great, but the wine and overall experience was average.
