We felt like Dude Perfect! When we got tired, there were so many options to recharge: giant chess or cornhole, watching the wakeboarders, or just sunning on the turf beside our cabana. I noticed a lot of the negative reviews are about the water quality. This is not a pool, so the water is not clear; it has vegetation; and stocked fish control for mosquitoes. Since we already read about this online, we were neither surprised nor grossed out. It was a fun day outdoors! The office staff were super warm, hospitable, and accommodating. Even as we added to our food order last minute (because I saw how active the kids were being... they were ravenous!), they flexed with our request. The pizza was hot; the fruit was refreshing. We felt so well cared for! Safety-wise, I'm glad we brought older kids, mostly very strong swimmers, and vigilant parents. The course is large, and there are spots that are invisible from the lifeguards' posts. We had to initiate with the lifeguards a few times because they weren't giving us any information/direction. (eg: Can we start? Where do we start? Any rules we need to know? Are you still on break, or can we go in again?) They did not seem to have a system for the lifejackets. They were sleepy and eager to clock out. This is the first open weekend of the season; I trust they will establish consistent group protocols as the summer goes on. We didn't plan ahead with a ton of notice, our decision was pretty last-minute, so we weren't 100% prepared. It doesn't look like much at the end of a sketchy dirt road lines with foxtails & weeds, but an oasis of aqua blue water awaits inside! Cabanas were already sold out, and I didn't know you were expected to bring your own shade & chairs, but we made the best of it. Admission is a little spendy, and the wake boarding portion is an add-on. Lockers are available for rent and there is food and drinks & even adult bevs for sale. Lifejackets are required for ALL entering the water and are provided by the park. Water shoes are essential, IMO, the hot springs feel of the water just made the obstacle course so slick. Seeing all the middle-aged parents out there, wooo buddy, some ACLs/MCLs - all the CLs - were straining this day! We had a blast, and so did our 14yo & 16yo, and if you know *anything* about teens, is they made everything seem like it's just no fun until afterwards LOL. They already said they'd like to go back! Pro tip: bring beach chairs, pop-up or umbrella, and LOTS of sunscreen & some decent water shoes, towels or sandsheet. The only downside was there were TONS of rowdy older teens running & tackling each other. Clearly athletes/football players, they didn't really seems to care that they ran over kids & bumped into other people, as long as they got to body slam each other into the water. So keep your head on a swivel before its your ACL that gets in their way.

No outside foods are allowed even though we did see people with food set up at their sites they brought in (kinda felt like we were the only ones without our own food. The key is to sneak it in but we were being honest people) . I guess since it was in a bag and not a cooler they didn't care. They do let you bring in reusable water bottles. This is a great place to bring your family they have the main obstacle course (not for the weak Lol ) which you'll have to be 48" and taller to participate in, but they also have a less intense one for the little kids ans toddlers. There's a slide and zip lining which is included in the price. We choose Groupon for our entry. They also have the wake boarding for an additional fee. Con and definitely should be evaluated!!! The only problem I had was there was no dress code and for this to be a place for families and people of all ages to be at why are girls walking around with their butts out! I don't mean the swimsuits wedgie but full on thong bikinis around children ! I was disgusted to see that and it was just ok. Like it's a time and a place for everything. Not saying the need full on water suites but decorum and consideration along with respect for others goes along way. They have lockers you can rent etc. I have to give them 3 stars some parts of the slides you wait at or walking to certain areas the ground is really hot and I know it's a hot day, but people are burning their feet to. I feel like they can go around and spray it down with water or something you can wear shoes, but they make you take off your shoes and hold them on the slides. The double dare has no shade the ground was so hot kids were holding onto the side rail to keep their feet from burning. We will still come here enjoy the water slides.

The short of it is: This golf course is cruel and certainly not fun. It is not shaded, so expect to burn. It is poorly designed, so expect to lose your ball within the first two or three holes. It's very very likely that one or more members of your family will permanently lose a ball to incredibly challenging terrain features, for which the official response from golfland is.. exit the course, go back inside, get another ball. This requires staff intervention, which means you have to wait in line again... Just like you did the first time to play. This overpriced course feels cruel and is disrespectful of your family's time and does not encourage a sense of fun. Please seek miniature golf elsewhere unless you are going for an extreme challenge. Not friendly for our group with ages between 10 and 80 Expect to pay twice as much for your time here as you would intentionally losing your golf balls at a place like topgolf.

For safety reasons, they don't allow parents to ride down the yellow slide with toddlers--there isn't a sign posted about this, but we were completely fine following the rule to set a good example for the kids. The Layout & Safety: One design quirk to watch out for if you have toddlers is that the 2-foot kiddie area connects directly to the 4-foot pool without a barrier. It can be a bit risky for non-swimmers who might accidentally wander into the deeper water, so expect to be right in the pool with your little ones the whole time. Crowds & Amenities: Weekends get incredibly packed, to the point where it's hard for kids to swim without bumping into others. Seating and shade are very limited, which is why a massive line forms before opening. You essentially have to sprint inside to claim a spot; otherwise, you're stuck standing in the sun. Also, note that the big slide isn't guaranteed to be running. It was closed during our recent weekend visit.
