I travel from the Verrazano bridge to Jackd five days a week, sometimes sitting in traffic for 45 mins to be part of the girl gang! If you haven't tried a class at Jack'd yet - you absolutely need to! This studio is beautiful. It is decorated in teal, black and white accents. All throughout the studio, there are inspirational quotes as well. What I love about the studio is that is it is women supporting women and an extremely positive environment. The owner Jaclyn is amazing, she is very friendly and informative about the different packages they offer. I let her know about my shoulder injury and she was more than helpful with offering moderations and checking form throughout the class. The workout I attended the Booty Camp - it was a HIIT style. Warmup, stations with rope slams, TRX bands and floorwork along a stretch cool down. I got an amazing workout in and will definitely be back. You are able to book all your classes on schedulicity and you want to do that as Jack'd has a great following. I am looking forward to coming back very soon! read more

From the décor, to the music, to the friendly bond amongst the girls, there is no place I would rather be. there are no judgements, there are no competitions, everyone is there for the same reasons. the prices are reasonable, the classes are deff a workout & the added bonus of making a few new friends along the way never hurt anyone. I love her posts on social media. always inspiring but yet real. We all get lazy, we all get tired, but yet.. she reminds us that there are no excuses. I also love that she asks us what we want more of or what we would like or if there are any specific classes we would like to see offered, etc. in her posts. Its nice that we all have a say, everyone's voice matters. she tried her best to make sure we are all happy even if that means the poor girl doesn't get home until 11pm sometimes. I absolutely love this place. It is the only place that has ever really made me feel comfortable. It's a team. Everyone helps each other. No one is out of place or left behind. The best part is that it's all women. No one has to feel self concious or worry that they are being stared at my some guys from across the room. If you have not been, I highly recommend a try! Jack is THE best! I look forward to seeing her every week. I've been going to her personal training one on one sessions since January, 2 times a week. I've always worked out on my own but she has challenged me with completely different workouts then I've ever done. She is patient & motivating & when I think I can't do it, she pushes me & has confidence in me! I've gotten so many compliments over the past year about how toned I've gotten & that's exactly why I wanted to start working out with her! Safe to say she has completed my wishes! I feel stronger & I lift heavier weights then I have ever challenged myself to lift. She's also a dog lover so she lets us bring our pups!! :) I recommend her to everyone I know! Jack'd fitness is EXACTLY what I wanted and what I needed to keep me motivated. I look forward to coming to class each time and I always leave feeling amazing. I've always been "angry treadmill girl" as my husband calls me. I always tried different gyms/classes - crossfit, spin, Zumba, cko, max, etc. you can name them all , I tried it. I always reverted back to the treadmill because I can see the calories burning in front of me . Yes I broke a little sweat but I was so fixated on making sure I was burning enough calories that I became obsessed with that and nothing else. My body became so used to this exercise that not only did I not loose weight anymore but was gaining weight. That's when I decided to try Jackd. Jackd is different every time you go- from running outside to monster walks and one handed walk outs to burpees and rope slams. She tries it all and mixes it up every time. From the very first day, Jaclynn has been nothing but professional, kind and a complete ass kicker. Before attending her classes, I didn't work out much, and had little to no physical strength. My first couple of weeks, I was sore all over from the intense workouts. However, the best thing about Jaclynn's classes are how you can progress, not only physically but mentally. Slowly but surely, I was able to increase weights, run faster, lift heavier, and truly believe that I was more capable of fitness than ever before. Now, I can proudly say that I have been going to Jack'd Fitness for well over a year, and sometimes, the changes in my body are unrecognizable even to me! First, Jack'd Fitness classes are great for all levels. As my body has progressed, I still have no problem finding new ways to better myself everyday. Jaclynn makes the workouts fun and challenging for everyone, no matter your fitness level. Also, the classes are different everyday, so you are constantly working out your entire body in ways you didn't even know how. The classes combine cardio, strength training and HIIT, so you are never bored and always surprised. All of the girls are very friendly and helpful and we all support each other and push one another to be better. I started Jackd Fitness two weeks ago and I don't ever want to stop. Her classes keep us moving, sweating, and hurting LOL but it's all worth it, at the end of the class you think to yourself did I REALLY just do all of that?! I love Jackd Fitness, that's probably something many people on a fitness journey don't say as soon as they finish a class. I love the environment of Jackd Fitness, her studio is well equipped and the decor makes you feel happy and empowered. It is all women, and we all support one another throughout classes, whether it be a "are you okay?" Or "do you need help with that?" Jackie (the owner) also is always making sure everyone's form is perfect, everyone is okay, and also praises us as we go. She makes sure to show us how to do every workout before we begin, and is always there if we need help. I follow all of her accounts on Instagram and that also helps me feel motivated, she posts videos of us in classes (which makes me want to go every day), inspirational quotes, "how to" videos, her dogs (the cutest) and everything in between, she also keeps it real, she knows the struggle that almost all of us go through, the struggle of getting your mindset right on eating habits, the struggle of beginning to lose your dedication to working out, and because she understands that she pushes us to BE BETTER, which is so important as a personal trainer.
