Food is ok, but owner is really rude and has a lot of anger. Wouldn't go back ever again

My favorite Hungarian dish chicken paprikas. Honed in on that..... and then she asked if we would like a homemade lemonade, of course, why not! Let me tell you, that was such a refreshing drink. Perfect for the smothering heat. Food came out and I was intrigued. A little different looking than I'm used to but knew it looked delicious. It was!! Mixed all that yumminess together and added a touch of salt on top and it melted in my mouth! No they did not pay me to write this, yes we paid for our food. Next is dessert! I can't remember the name of it but it kind of reminded me of tiramisu with chocolate syrup at the bottom, walnuts and grapes, light fluffy cake, and whipped cream with chocolate syrup over it. It was heaven! Nothing felt heavy in my stomach and I felt very satisfied leaving. We will return!

Super experience at this charming Hungarian restaurant in Bradenton…read more We have never tried Hungarian food, so this sparked our attention. Walked in and let them know it was our first time and Alexa took care of us all the way through. We ordered mushroom crepe that was very tasty. It was called Bakonyi Palacsinta. We shared our entree which was a potato crusted chicken with salad. This is called Karpati Borzacska. Both were amazing and tasty. The cherry on top was our dessert which is a chocolate rum sponge cake with walnut and raisin with chocolate syrup. Sounds rich right? It was not. It was a perfect balance and not too sweet believe it or not. It is called Somloi. The restaurant is charming and shows its Hungarian culture with additional market items on sale and it also shows its family background with the pictures by the bathroom. Loved our experience here and our service. Def happy our first Hungarian experience was right here.

It's seen all my bad hair. I've savored all of its seasonal offerings. This was another good catchup. It's right there off I-75-between Tampa and Sarasota. It's easy access-with a McDonald's next door. There's plenty of parking and the familiar rockers out front. The store is well lit and nicely laid out. As of mid August, they have a good bit of Halloween and autumn decor already on display. Yeah, it's early, but it's fun. It has all the vintage candy and snacks-candles-vinyl, games, toys, baby clothes and accessories, so many cute dresses, sweatshirts, even shoes and jewelry-and all sorts of cozy decor. You can always find a cute, thoughtful or funny gift here. It's clean, comfy and yeah-their restrooms are pretty great, too! The store staffers are always friendly here. I'm already looking forward to going back!

We were on the way home from a trip to Tampa and decided to stop here for a bite to eat. It was pretty busy with a bit of a wait but it seemed to go by fast especially since I spent time looking at the items in their store. My husband and I decided to share the weekend special of fried chicken and we had it with green beans, cole slaw, mashed potatoes and of course their delicious biscuits. Our meal was very good with the chicken being perfectly crunchy on the outside and nice and juicy on the inside. Being a Floridian I'm pretty loyal to Publix fried chicken but this was a close second in terms of deliciousness. Our son had the grilled catfish with Mac and cheese and the fried okra and he really enjoyed his meat also. The server and the other employees that I interacted with were all very nice. Would definitely return to this location.
