I am so glad I did! From the moment I walked in, I was struck by how welcoming and joyful the environment was. Renee was the attendant on duty, and she is absolutely wonderful. Her nature is so helpful, professional, and warm. She thoroughly explained the process for using the machines and made sure I had everything I needed. The entire experience was fantastic, not only because of the great facilities but because of Renee's kind, friendly service. The laundromat itself is very clean and well-maintained, and I felt completely safe the entire time. It's a joyful and friendly atmosphere that made a chore feel more like a pleasant stop during my visit. If I'm ever in the area again, I will absolutely stop by just to say hi, even if I don't have any laundry to do. Do yourself a favor and go to Fast and Fresh Laundry--you will feel right at home!

Some of their locations are no longer there Covid happened covid went away we're in the post covid world. One thing that really hasn't changed is the great soap opera laundromat in Downers Grove. This flag store one of their main locations today's busy almost all the time. It usually find people washing clothes themselves all hours of the night the middle of the night the first thing it's really nice about it is after hours when they go home you have to have a pass card to get in. You can purchase one you don't even have to have a balance it's just a classic swipe card they have a vending machine for it put a dollar in get the thing. It gets you in 24/7 all the time One thing to know about it though if you're only coming in to use the can and you don't use any services because everything is done with a pass card if you don't put money in the machine you use your pass card you load the card and then you swipe a machine to start it etc while you have a balance. That being said if you only come in and use the toilet six times your card is turned off LOL. Then you got to spend a buck and get another one. This policy was put in place to keep derelicts, homeless bums, tweakers, riff Raff and shifty people up to no good out. Now if you do laundry yourself they are full service they have your standard size washers like at home they've got the extra large and then they got what I call the monsters.. same with the dryers. It's very clean inside temperature control is good yes it's fairly cool even in the summer I've been using them for quite a few years ever since I found out one time when I came in with the shitload of laundry cuz the other place at the time had closed so I was hunting down another location a different facility and business completely mind you. So I came in with bags and bags poundage and they said you know we could do that for you. I said really? They said yup. We offer full laundry service folding you don't even have to use our detergent you could bring your own in give it to us and we'll give you back when you're done. I said hell yeah we about the credit card I think it was about 50 something bucks it was like 30 lb or something I can't remember it was something really heavy cuz I had blankets and all kinds of crap but I hate doing laundry. So next thing you know BadacBing Bada Boom I get a call two days later laundry is done come pick it up. So that's begin my relationship has continued to this day.. did you offer delivery if you're in the area it's about 15 bucks but it's close to where I parked the truck so I don't mind just zipping up the interstate running the side roads and dropping off and picking up it's all good. The quality is fantastic the clothes come out nice and clean they're folded they're separated in the bags between shirts and of course your skivvies and socks and then your jeans pants and the hanger stuff nicely done even on the hangers. So I decided this last round I was impressed at how fast they got it done being it was the holiday I dropped it off and they were calling me a day later said it's done it was about half of what I usually bring in but it was a good 26 bucks worth. But having the text saying your laundry is done come pick it up and the fact that they were in on New Year's Day and the customer service part was another big plus so there's the five bar full Stars. You have to use a reloadable card. That's fine, and honestly way easier than small bills. But here's where it gets terrible, in order to load the wash card with money you need to use a swipe credit card. And it has a $50 limit per credit card used in a 24hrs period. The big washers here are $10.09 per wash. That's $0.09 feels very petty, but whatever. Once you hit your $50 limit you have to either uses a different card or load the card with cash. I hit my $50 limit and had to use cash. They had an ATM with a less than $3 fee so that seemed ok. But the bill breaker wasn't working. I only had $20s after using the ATM and needed to add $3 to finish my dyer cycle So decent machines. Not crowded on a Saturday morning, but unbelievable stupid payment system. Bring multiple credit cards or small bills if you plan on washing all your big stuff here in one day.

At Sunshine, There are a Variety of Wash Machines, The Dryers are Big, and the Temperature is kept at 180 for fast drying time. There are baskets on wheels, Television, Chairs, Vending machines, and also money / Change machines. You can buy Detergent, also they have a service to drop your laundry off/pick-up by the pound. I am very happy and Grateful to have this laundramat near me, makes Laundry Time Bearable !

Today I got a call that the price had been increased and when I questioned it, I was told to come and get my rug. I have heard other people have had problems with the owners here, but I personally had always had a great experience. I am so very disappointed. It wasn't just a little increase, it was over 30%. I understand everything is costing a little more today, but I did feel that was extreme. I also feel as a customer we have a right to question and voice our complaint/concern, but apparently not here. **The owners reply if full of false statements: I did not raise my voice or get upset with the clerk that called me. So I was surprised when she called me back and said the owner would like me to come get my rug. *I did not brow beat the employee, I was nice to her, I asked her when this was increased because I come all the time. I came right away to get my rug. Had there been some offer to work with the price discrepancy I would still be a customer today. *I never said it was price gouging, I have a right to be upset with a huge increase. I then agreed to do it this time but was not sure if I'd be back. * The owner is the one who said I should come get it because he was not comfortable completing the job. Since we are eating at India Palace (which is in the same plaza) anyway, we brought a laundry basket of wet clothes to throw in the dryer to dry while we have lunch. I have not used a laundromat in over 3 decades, so I cannot comment on prices. This place is very clean and nice, lots of machines but lots of customers as well. Perhaps it is not quite as busy during the week.

Came back to this place because I like that I do not need cash - just load a card worn your credit or debit - Super convenient. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they remodeled, new floors, counters, and machines. Clean, all machines in order, and a live person working to make sure things go well. The bathroom is reserved, under lock (conveniently opens with the card), for customers so it is clean. Will be back next year.
