I've been bringing my little guy Reggy here for about a year just to get his nails clipped on a drop-in basis. The young lady always does a really good job, clips low and then files them nicely each time. He has never had a bleed at all. Very unprofessional and deceptive dog groomer. We have been taking our dog here for two years, specifically requesting that Jackie groom our dog. We recently learned that Jackie was not performing the grooming and had her young female employees grooming our dog. The last time it became very obvious as our dog's face was not clipped as we requested and we had to have Jackie try to fix the mess made by the young girl. Jackie ended up shaving/cutting too close to her skin and left several red marks. We paid full price for Jackie and were given a trainee who couldn't groom our dog. Not ethical. The next time we were to have an appointment, Jackie called us 45 minutes before we were leaving to drop our dog off to let us know she was not available that afternoon and wanted us to come in later that week in the morning. I purposely scheduled afternoons so I can have our dog groomed after I finish working. Forcing us to come in for a morning appointment is not possible. So much for customer service. I would stay clear of this groomer as you never know who will groom your dog or when you will have your appointment moved or cancelled. read more

4th time I brought my dog to get groomed here. I'm waiting outside for 2 hours wondering what is taking so long. They call to let me know my dog is ready. I go inside, the old lady smiling, says he's all done. We had a little accident, a piece of his tongue got cut off. I was in total shock. WHAT!!!! You cut my dogs tongue off??? She said to me, "things like this happen" so matter of fact, like I should expect it. This incompetent dog groomer cut the end of my little dogs tongue off. I'm so glad to have found Jackie's. Our sweet little old lady of a kitty has become ill and very thin and between that and recent surgery has stopped bathing herself. It's an emotional time for our family and Jackie worked with us to get her in right away and at a time that didn't conflict with our work schedules. The cost is right in line with what I'm used to paying for my long haired cats to be groomed and Jackie did a great job. My husband took her there and came home talking about what a nice lady she is. I could tell our little Momma cat felt better afterwards too. She's the most affectionate she's been in weeks and it's so nice to see a little sparkle in her eyes again. My baby girl is almost 15 years old. Not really sure how long I've been taking to her to Jackie but over 10 years for sure! Jackie WAS good. But after Jackie stopped grooming dogs and letting her unprofessional trainees working on dogs... Well, let the nightmare begin. This new girl had the audacity to say "your dog moved and this happened"... like no.... You purposely cut my dog and kept on cutting her. She's a 6 pound Maltese, it's not that hard to keep her under control and keep her from moving. This is straight animal abuse and will never come back to Jackie. After my friend and groomer moved to Southern California it took years of searching til I found Jackie's, and I'm so glad I did. My pup is medically fragile and every time I bring him in to be groomed, the staff takes the time to review his history with me, which makes me feel at ease. We really appreciate the care our dog receives at Jackie's. Our dog is also much more relaxed at Jackie's than crowded pet store groomers. I took my little maltipoo dog here for grooming once. And they did an alright job. Nothing was necessarily awful but, they hadn't trimmed his nails. They cut his whiskers off super short where they were super pokey until they grew back. Not that it's awful... but I was pretty surprised to see that they were running their business from their home. Again, not a bad thing. But I just wasn't expecting to drive into a neighborhood to get my dog groomed. But other than that, they did a good job. read more

By the time I was able to find Jackie's Pet Grooming, he was looking rather...muskrat-y. But now he's looking absolutely stunning. His coat is soft and luscious. And I know they were respectful and gentle because he wasn't absolutely terrified when I picked him up. I just returned home after my cat "Rocky's" first grooming visit at Jackie's shop. The shop was clean and smelled great (always a must when dealing with pets). My cat howled all the way to her shop (about 10 minutes from our home) so you could tell she was not happy. The staff was attentive and asked all the right questions. I felt very comfortable leaving my pet with them. It took about 3.5 hours to complete the grooming and the price was more than reasonable. Not a peep from Rocky when we picked her up, in fact when I got in the car, I realized she was purring. Her coat was soft and smooth, she is a long haired cat with a thick under-coat that mats very easily. After a long cold winter, she needed grooming desperately. All the mats were gone, especially the big, nasty ones on the back of her legs and around her bottom. I fully expected her to immediately hide under my bed when we got home and punish me for taking her to the groomers, but that didn't happen. She greeted the family like she had just been on a fun excursion. My cat is very picky and doesn't usually take to strangers, but she liked everyone here. I will definitely be returning to Jackie's Pet Grooming and would recommend her shop to everyone. read more

The only person I trusted to groom my dog here was Angelique, however she recently left and I will say you should not trust your fur baby here. There were a few times Angelique was out and they didn't tell me and she had someone new cut him; first they did a horrible job but not only that there were small cuts on his face like from clippers. I love this place!! We have a dog who hates getting her nails cut and the box chain groomers don't have the patience for her and do not allow owners to be there while they groom. This added to our already scared pet's anxiety and it got worse and worse every time we visited. I called Jackie's and explained our dog's nervousness and she was so understanding. She explained that it might take a bit to get our dog to calm down and the dog would need to be retrained that this wasn't a scary experience but that she was up for the task. She allowed both my husband and into the room (wiggly scared dog took 2 of us!) and worked around us, always talking so sweet to the pup and never impatient with her.
