2022 (new) camper delivered end of April 2025 we have a 2 yr warranty n not sure what good it is/ the salesman, owner, staff have been no help / we had contact June 2 saying our fridge was at 60 degrees/ threw food out / 2 service techs, calls 2 Jacks calls to Jayco and aug 19 still without a fridge/ can't take the techs word or picture /so fed up / we never got a working remote at delivery almost 4 months later Jack's still has not gotten us one/ the fireplace timer doesn't work was suppose 2 get us another one/ drawers that dont close /slide out tears / calls go unreturned documents not submitted 4 warranty/ wouldn't recommend this place to anyone/ and our bank had to call multiple times because our title was not received in a timely manner /they get your $ and your left 2 take care of issues with the camper yourself/ they also called on our behalf to the dealership with all the issues n not handling them read more

We took our camper here to have the shower door replaced. We did not do a walk through before leaving. The next morning I looked and what I found was unbelievable. As I walked into the camper the instructions were laying by the door, there was a drop of putty by the couch, there was something on the stairs, there was a dirty rag laying on the floor, there was old sealer and other stuff on , in and around the shower, they used our towels to step on, then shower head was not reconnected and when I picked up the rag that had damaged the linoleum. They called us and told us it was done and ready. It's not like we called and needed the camper! When I called them the next day all they said was sorry! They said they would make it right the next time we came in. Not sure we will use them again. read more

I have no complaints with the salesman. He knew what was on the lot, listened to our requirements, and didn't show us anything that didn't fit our needs. The sale went smoothly enough. After the sale service is lacking either because of a business that is understaffed, employees who fail at customer service, or both. I had a couple warranty issues that took several emails, a few phone calls, and a heated response before they were resolved. The warranty service person was extremely poor at responding to both emails or calls. If you wish to have after the sale service I do not recommend Jack's Campers. My impression is that it is a poorly managed business. read more

While traveling thru South Dakota my bedroom slide broke. We were about 260 east of Rapid city. I started calling RV repair places who could fix our slide. Almost all place said they could not schedule us in until the end of June( 3 week wait). When I call Jacks and explain my problem she talk to her head services person to see what they could do. She stop in tomorrow with the rig and they would check it out. We got there at 2:00 pm and the looked at the slide. Long story short, we were on the road 3:30 and our slide was fix. They were very mice to us and squeeze in to help us out. Great customer service and I was very surprised the price was so low. Thank you again. read more

Traveling cross country and a drivers side leaf spring snapped on my 12' enclosed trailer. They didn't have the part in stock, but a very nice woman directed me to a local business that did. Then, even though they were super busy on this Saturday morning, they promptly replaced my part and had me back on the road within an hour! I gave them 5 stars because 10 wasn't an option. Wished I would've read the review here first! Worst rental place ever! The owners care way more about getting your money than customer service. We came all the way in from Hawaii so we needed to have the camper prepared as we didn't have time to mess around. They knew this and assured us no problem! Friday picked up the camper, it was not filled and ready with water as I was told. The guy told my husband the generator batteries where dead and so he charged them and filled the camper with water while my husband waited for an hour. Friday afternoon absolutely no generator. Wouldn't make a noise. Husband and others spent several hours working on the generator. Nothing. (They were mechanics and maintenance workers so they know about working on this type of thing). Friday night batteries went dead in the middle of the night. No refrigerator. No heat. Had to get up about 3am and start the camper to let in run at least an hour to charge them. Saturday morning. Spent at least two hours working on the generator finally changed some fuses and it started working. Bathroom door hadn't been latching. Husband worked on that another half hour. Saturday night more generator issues. Spent another few hours trouble shooting and finally had to jump the generator battery finally worked again. Sunday repeat. Working on generator, jumping the battery, etc. Morning, afternoon, night. Emailed and called several times as I felt there should be some type of compensation (we are also business owners). I was told the owner said he'd only refund us $200! You've gotta be kidding??? I asked for the owner, was given the number of the Mitchell office where he ducked my calls until I gave up... Never again! This place is a joke... read more

We had to bring our camper here to fix a leak and a few things still under warranty. The woman working at the service desk was incredibly friendly and helpful, it felt like we were chatting with an old friend who happened to be in the camper business. We were wary due to a few bad reviews but had nothing short of a wonderful experience. They fixed everything within two days and had it ready to be picked up by the weekend. The service guys brought us into the back to make sure they fixed everything that we needed done and even helped us try to open our unrelated rusted propane tank (it's a goner). We will definitely be back here, they've absolutely earned our business for life. read more

Rented a supposed newer trailer for the rally 2015 and was very surprised on the actual rental I received. Trailer costs was about $2900.00 with deposit that I'm sure I'll never see for all the same excuses I received while there. Roof leaked Toilet tank leaked Tub did not drain Canopy would not extend Fridge would not stay cold Cleaning was poor at best Told it would have at least two pop outs and it had one. Paid for linens service $150.00 for the week. They never showed up once. They did try to repair leaks in roof after our two all nighters of getting wet. The trailer was represented to me as fully ready to use after my 1480 mile journey in from California.... It was far from ready believe me. I couldn't believe the condition of this thing after making several calls to verify all was good. Was told I would be met with open arms on late arrival due to my trip in and that was a joke. Come to find out all the attendance staff were out drinking enjoying the rally and concerts. Some real conversation would have been good to properly direct me after driving 1400 mile to be let down. By the way six of us slept in the car waiting for them to open Of which they were over an hour late. I won't be staying with jacks trailer next year. Jacks did have a lot of nice rentals available they just didn't set me up with one. The reason I'm disappointed here is I've planned this s vacation for over a year. I set everything up way in advance to avoid any frustrating experience and still dealt with a trailer that way failed expectations. read more

I hate to even give these guys 1 star!!! After buying a brand new camper in 2014 every time we have gone they don't seem to give a flying frick bout you!! Definitely need some customer service training or something!! Was very interested in upgrading to something bigger and newer the Salesmen didn't seem to want to show us any campers the ones he did show us had nothing nice to say about them just rolled his eyes when asked about certain features!! It may not be service department job but when you have a woman coming after her camper be a gentleman and ask if they'd like help hooking the camper up!! read more

We had two issues with our RV bike lift at Sturgis. The woman at the Buffalo chip was amazingly helpful and found one of the parts I needed and personally walked it over to the RV and provided a heads up to the dealership that I was coming to the dealer to fix a bracket on the lift. The gentleman who fixed it for me went out of his way of trying to help and eventually patched the problem so I could get home. All with a great smile and willingness to help. So, in response to the other reviews, I wish I could do more to counter them. I am currently in the process of buying a pop up unit from this location. I have found their staff to be courteous and responsive. Interactions have been comfortable and relaxed versus the "what do we need to do to close this today" tactics that I have encountered at the other places in the area. I informed the sales staff what I wanted and they have found it for me, brought it inside their warm facility, and made sure that it was all good. Other places have wasted my time trying to convince me that I really want what they need to get sold. I'm not familiar with their rental business, but as a local, you can't expect a perfect or inexpensive experience during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally week. All business are stressed at that time. Hotel rooms go for a minimum of $400 a night during that week. The area hosts half a million visitors for crying out loud. As far as the units go, the camper I'm buying is a former rental unit, and it is clean and well maintained. I'm not sure what the other reviewers encountered, but it sounds to me like neither gave Jack's staff a fair chance to remedy their problems. read more

I find it difficult to write a bad review of any location or any business. And typically, you'd have to do something extraordinary to motivate me to do so. You'd really have to "earn" it. I've contacted this business on four separate occasions to inquire about campers or trailers I've seen while driving by. Each time I call, I'm told they're busy or all the sales reps are on the lot with other customers. I leave my number. Ask for a return phone call...and never receive one. I call back to follow up, but unfortunately these folks are too busy. Yesterday, I saw an adorable lightweight trailer which looked similar to ones I'd been researching. I called and asked questions about the retro trailer previously and now this second trailer. I explained to the receptionist, who seemed very nice, but as if she's caught in the middle. I explained that with all due respect - I've called previously and please let them know I'm a serious buyer who is ready to purchase. Still no call back. I will not be bothering them again, because clearly they're so successful they no longer need my money or me to bother them to attempt a purchase. I'll find a company who needs and wants my business. read more

So everything started out great. Jerry was very friendly and helpful. The day of pickup was amazing and they were on top of things. We picked up the trailer and headed to Helena, MT for a wedding. Didn't end up setting the trailer up until a couple days later. Once we did, we had nothing but problems. The fuses kept blowing and we couldn't keep power to the unit. We called Jack's first thing the next morning and when I told him of our troubles his reply was "well that's a brand new unit". Well duh. Shouldn't be having these problems why do you think I'm calling you. We talked to the mechanic and ran through everything and did everything we were told. Didn't help. Called a local mechanic in MT to ask him. Come to find out it was the battery, cool no big deal they gave us a second battery before we left... NOPE also not working. So long story short we were given not 1 but 2 dead batteries for the camper. When we went to return the trailer, Jerry asked how everything was. I told him "well fine except we were given 2 dead batteries". His response "Yea I heard that". No apology no nothing.. Terrible customer service once they have your money. WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE AGAIN. I highly recommend to anyone who appreciates good customer service... DO NOT USE JACKS CAMPERS. read more
